The Ascent 700 is a cosy, sustainably sourced down bag that offers enough warmth to comfortably cope with three season use and, with a liner I've used in winter camping situations without much discomfort. It packs down to a small size and lofts quickly to provide a luxurious feel. By some distance the best sleeping bag I have owned. It comes with a relatively stylish large linen bag to store the bag in a semi-lofted state for long periods and a convenient stuff sack for use on the trail. Rab is not the cheapest option, but you get a high quality product for your money and sleeping warmth is not the thing to be skimping on in my book. Absolutely excellent - I wish I had bought it earlier.

I used this for when I climbed (and conquered!) Mount Kilimanjaro in September.So warm, and got warm so very quickly. I even got quite hot on a few occasions which I wasn’t expecting given how cold it was on some nights.Couldn’t recommend it enough, it’s worth every penny.
