This game is amazing! Quite a lot of board games come through our house for review, and most are fun for a play or two, but are clearly not destined for repeated use. This one, however, feels completely timeless, like a cross between battleships and tangram.It’s a deceptively simple game, but engaging and fun - everything you’d want to pass the time on a rainy day!I get the feeling that certain members of my house might be trying to memorise the arrangements of shapes to have a long term advantage, and I’m not sure whether that will affect how long the game lasts for us, but either way, it’s a lot of fun, and refreshing to hit on a new board game that works so well.

This is a good puzzle/game designed for fun and to develop kids' patience, concentration, problem-solving and hand/eye coordination skills. It is basically a shape recognition and pattern-building challenge wherby players use the various coloured shapes to replicate the pattern on a card. It is harder than it looks and requires a fair bit of effort and undivided attention. Solo players can challenge themselves against the clock and pairs can compete against each other. The coloured shapes can be a bit fiddly but that is part of the challenge.

Puzzle Wars game by Tomy is suitable for one or two players. Recommended for children 8 years+ who can opt to play the game alone or play against a friend. There are three hardship levels, square/hexagon/star, and a two minute timer keeps things interesting. What you're actually doing, building a pattern out of pieces to match the pattern on a card, sounds easy but really isn't and it can take longer than expected at first. It's all about hand/eye coordination. Nicely made but with one key problem; it's easy to lose the puzzle shapes.

Just such fun for children and adults. This is a well made game. The idea is in under two minutes to copy the shapes on a card. Two can play against each other and the clock with a buzzer to hit when finished. Or at least think you have. For that’s the fun part. The race against the other player and clock can cause much fun. It is also possible to play along.Good family fun. Also used at Boys’ Brigade with under 11 age group. They thought it was fun too.Good quality materials used in the manufacturing. Impressed.

The main thing I liked about this puzzle game which I have played quite a bit with my daughter is the wide range of difficulty levels offered by the different configurations and of course house rules to level the playing field a little. It’s good for a short sharp games session where your spatial skills will get a workout. I’m not so thrilled with the presentation which seems a bit dated compared to some electronic two player games but we have been enjoying it which is the main thing.

This game is a lot of fun. The idea is to copy the abstract image on the card as quickly as possible. My 8 and 10 year old daughters enjoyed going head-to-head and racing to see who could match the puzzle the first. The buzzer makes it highly competitive but also fun. It's basically a computer game, but in real life, which keeps children interested in it. I presume it's good for hand-eye-coordination and reasoning skills.

This is a really great game for children (and the adults playing it with them!). The concept is quite simple... but it is so much fun racing each other and creating family competitions with it. Some of the patterns are surprisingly tricky to create!Would recommend.

My boys enjoyed playing with this - a great, absorbing game for one or two players which is great for spacial and puzzle type challenge.It makes a nice change from computer game play!Robust and well made. Recommended.

This game is lots of fun and we have enjoyed playing it. My sons love playing this and racing eachother.The buzzer makes it a bit more competitive.It is well made, easy to store and long lasting.
