Update : April 2018 my cats still love this food I get it on monthly subscription & they are very healthy happy indoor cats. The furball concern has been ok we have only had a few over the years and considering how much fur they cast its great news. I would definitely recommend this food for your cats. My two have been eating it since I originally published this review with no problems and they enjoy it. They both like to come tell me in there own special way when the food bowl is empty!My kittens are now cats I was looking for an adult food and as my cats are indoor I thought this would be a good one to try. My cats are both ragdoll/maincoon crosses and have long thick hair so I am concerned about the furballs.

My cat loves these. They are like crack to him. Seriously, I can use them as treats. I shall regale you all with a tale, but for this we must go back further than this pro plan purchase. A year and a bit ago I adopted my dear Indiana. Half begal and half oriental short hair. Fully crazy. As the family would retire for bed on a night. Indiana would occasionally get up and go downstairs to play, but eventually would get bored without his human servants and retire himself to bed. Now as time progressed, we noticed as we went downstairs on the morn, food stuffs would be strewn all about the kitchen. Rice, flour, sugar, croissants, bread, you name it, he got it from the cupboards and drawers. So,

I started using Pro Plan when I got my second cat as this is what he was being given at Cats Protection, so I thought it would be familiar for him. My other Cat wouldn't stop eating his food, so I just started buying it and they can't get enough!There is no waste as it's dry food, you can leave it out and there is no smell unlike wet food, and it's packed with healthy goodness to keep them both regular in the toilet department and also helps with fur balls.My cats aren't actually house cats, but they don't go out much and only tend to stay in the garden, so I got house cat food as one of them is a little tubby! She has lost weight since I put her on Pro Plan,

I buy this on subscription every month for my multi- indoor cat house. 2 DSH 1 Burmese Cross and one Bengal/Siamese. I’m a vet with over 20Years experience. This is an excellent cat food , and no I don’t work for Purina and they aren’t paying me to say it. I’ve used all the premiumBrands and personally I really like purina pro plan.Litter wise I have small firm stools to remove and never any diarrhoea.Their coats are velvety soft and shine like Pantene advert. I have one porker who has this mixed with the light diet but the girls thrive on this and lookSplendid. Their teeth are excellent showing no signs of decay or dental problems (though I do not feed wet feed to ensure they maintain good dental)Best of all is that they love it.

I think I ordered the wrong bag but it seems to have worked anyway :) I recently adopted a rescue cat and his tummy just wouldn't settle, he was having the runs all the time and I was beginning to think my house would never smell fresh again.My vet recommended ProPlan and thank goodness she did! within a couple of days his pooh was solid and not anything like so stinky!He doesn't go mad for the taste but does like it well enough not to waste it, I also allow him one sachet of ProPlan wet food for breakfast now just so he gets a treat - this he LOVES! :) and it helps him not get bored with the dry.Also his coat is much more shiny, he was like a brillo pad on legs when I first got him :D

Our cat has a lot of Urinary Tract problems and this leads to her bleeding and trying to pee in all sorts of weird places. Been giving her Royal Canin Urinary food which is really expensive, I was looking for some different food for her and read the reviews so I thought I would get some to try.......all I can say is that the food is fantastic, shes not had one episode of the bleeding since shes been on this food and she loves it......Massive thumbs (and paws) up from us lot.......Brilliant product

My indoor cat absolutely loves this. Beside her drinks bowl she always has a bowl of this food, all ready for when she's hungry and it's obvious how much she enjoys them. Even last thing at night before she goes to sleep she always has to have a final snack. They're so crunchy I know they must be good for her teeth too. She was a stray and it's great to know she's getting such good food now, especially one that she loves so much. Every order is delivered in a very short time too.

When I first got my cat she was suffering with a bad stomach as I fed her wet food (as had done her previous owner). I decided to switch to this dry cat food and it has been amazing. Since I first switched her diet over she has been only eating this and loves it. She doesn't even like an occasional treat of wet cat food so I have stopped even buying it. Although it seems expensive, this size bag lasts her about 3 months and it is a lot cheaper on here than it is at the pet store.

I loved this product for my cat, she has a sensitive stomach and has tendencies to throw her food back up, which isn't pleasant. After a month of being on this, she has nearly stopped throwing up altogether, had subscribed to get it monthly only to find the price of it has been raised by nearly £5 per bag after only 2 deliveries. I love my cat but with having 3 other outdoor cats, I will have to shop around to find a more natural product to help keep her stomach settled.

My cats love all the Pro Plan flavours and specialties, but the Housecat one is a favourite. My three cats are not actually housecats, but come and go through the cat flap, but I find they don't suffer from hairballs with this brand. Before I started using Pro Plan Housecat they all got the odd hairball, which caused them to vomit just after eating, and needed medicine to break it down. Housecat seem to prevent hairballs from forming. I highly recommend this product.

Again, this Amazon is the cheapest place I've found to buy this cat food. The bigger bags are not readily available in supermarkets and when I've looked on other online pet stores, it's always more expensive (especially when taking into account the P&P). My old cat is a fussy eater and he has tried different cat food (he'll only eat dry) and it's been too hard for him to chew, (as he's lost some of his teeth). He likes this though and doesn't turn his nose up at it.

Out vet recommended this food for my house cat as a way to stop her getting furballs. So far, she has only one one in over a year so it looks like it worked. She enjoys the food that I weigh out every morning for her to make sure she does not over eat. As she is a small cat eating 45 g per day, this 3kg bag lasts us over a month so it is good value for money. I would definitely recommend this food as an alternative to whiskers or similar commercial brands.

Good price for a quality cat food. My cats live indoors or out in a cat aviary but have no access to grass or other outdoor finds so I like to feed a decent food with all the nutrients and vits they need.UPDATE : this has doubled in price so now I can't feed my indoor cats on it and they are not keen on other foods! They were thriving on this particular one and have since had urine and skin problems as they are no longer being fed on it.

Always used pro plan since we first tried it as the cats love it, and i main really love it! They turn their noses up at a lot fo other more premium foods we have tried, including the all natural ranges and really high end tailored foods; quite simply they love this and won't like much else! They are so healthy and full fo life all the time, gorgeous coats and hardly any health issues we have noticed that can be associated with dry foods!

This cat food is great value for money on Amazon in comparison to prices in local pet stores. Also my cat really loves it! I add this to the Felix wet food. The only negative point that I would have is that once opened the bag can be quite fiddly to close again. It would be much better if the bag could be resealed along the whole length of the top instead of just the corner.
