Puma Unisex Adults’ Leader Vt Sl Low-Top Sneakers/TrainersWhite/Red/Black Size 10Puma are long established sports shoe manufacturers that have proven their products to be quality over many years. Perhaps they might have fallen a little behind in the fashion stakes which have become very competitive these days. However not everyone wants to pay £150+ for a pair of sports shoes unless they are highly active in their chosen pursuit.That creates room for such a lightweight trainer as this stylish mid priced entry. Design is current and should suit many as it is attractive and eye catching. There are currently three colour versions... a predominantly white shoe made of synthetic leather with the well known Puma flash on the side in black with red stitching,red Puma logos front and back and a plastic red insert in the heel. The second colour option is also white but replaces the red trim for royal blue. The third option is all black and looks particularly smart and ideal if you don't want bright white shoes.There is a removable insole which can be replaced with any special insert if needed to cater for those with foot problems.The laces are standard “tie up” but the shoes have tape loops in places of eyelets and there is a tape loop at the back to assist foot entry. I would add that I replaced the laces with a white elastic version for ease of use and they work really well.The fit is comfortable to wear and whilst sizing was not an issue with the pair I used, I would suggest they may by a tad on the small size but only by half a normal size. Width is OK.The sole I would describe as “urban” ...useful grip but intended for hard flat surfaces. The tread pattern is not very deep and will quickly fill on muddy ground making them a challenge to walk in however on a hard pavement they are fine. Clearly they are not intended for “rugged” use with that sole and being bright white.I am not sure whether they are truly waterproof. The construction and materials look like they might be but with a soft well padded tongue made of fabric, that will absorb water and make the wearing experience less that perfect so perhaps not to be worn extensively in the rain.So we have a well made comfortable “urban” sports/leisure shoe that will compete well in the middle price ground. For general use it is a very useful addition to the range and one I am sure Puma will be pleased with it's success.

To my horror, my boy who is a third my age already has feet my size, so there was a tussle between him and me about who would get this shoe. (In the event, we agreed to share - he takes the left shoe while I get the right one.) It is comfortable even if a bit smaller than expected. Probably closer to a 9.5 size? Springy and well padded. It's a bit pliable which probably means that the material will likely crease and tear if used intensively. Haven't worn it in the rain - we've had a brilliant summer, don't you know - so can't vouch for waterproofness.

I wasn’t really expecting to be so impressed by these. Puma are a respectable brand an all, but it would also be easy to be snooty about the types that white trainers appeal to. Well, count me amongst them. I’ve become sold on the feel of these around town. The snugness of the fit, the bright white look, the bit of extra height. You can run in em, stride purposefully in them, and most important, wear them for hours without blisters or heal sores. I reckon they are around a size 9.5.

I highlighted the NOT WATERPROOF merely to enhance the fact that the tongue is fabric and will absorb water.The tread is sensible, not chunky.The shoe is average in weight.Tongue, laces and inner cushioning area is white. The main colour of the shoe is (I would say) ivory white.I don't run, but really like these as a walking shoe.I have a high arch and like the way the "ArchTec" moulds my feet.Stylish and comfortable.

Love em, they are narrow, worked for me but a bit snug. Thin sole so may not be so great for running out doors but for the gym and leisure works for me. Good for cycling with toe clips due to thin soles under front of foot. Probably good for football.

I am a size 9 in Clarke’s measurements and these at a 10 fit me perfectly. Very comfortable and supportive. Only downside is that they crease very quickly across the front top. A real shame and stop them looking so smart. I love the design.

For the price these are pretty good trainers. I had one pair of puma trainers and chose that exact size and that worked out great. Just give em a wet cloth when they get dusty and they look like new again.

Always had puma, could get away with wearing these on the golf courseI did find however that usually always a UK 10 I find these a bit snug, a 10.5 if available would have been perfect

Great fit and style.My son wanted a pair of trainers that were not made of netting fabric.These are more water resistant and sturdy than the average trainers.give good support too.

Great value as bought on Prime Day for about £27. Perfect length but slightly narrow. Comfort is improving the more I wear them.Fantastic grip in the wet.

Grandson happy with his new trainers. Said nice and comfortable to walk in as the sole is cushioned unlike his last pair of trainers (different brand).

Really really pleased with these trainers. They arrived on time, look great, feel great. I'm a size 7UK, ordered a 7UK & they fit perfectly.

Looks very nice but sizes are writed incorrectly. My husband wear EU size 44 and uk size is written 9.5. So you have to check size correctly

Like all Puma shoes, very comfortable, well-built shoes, at a great price. Normal fit, no need to go half a size up, like some other models.
