These candles seem pretty good value at about twenty seven pence each - and useful to have ready in some quantity. Although they are red on the outside the interior is white which to me indicates slightly less than top quality. However Price's candles are a well known make and the candles burn evenly down without excessive quantities of wax dripping.As they don't 'go off', a box like this can last for years. Slender but strong they stand tall and steady, useful in seasonal table centre pieces, standing in candle sticks, burning safely inside lanterns.There's something sweetly cheerful about a red candle, it draws the eye and creates a sense of occasion.

I like Price's Candles, whether it's tapered dinner candles or little tea lights they burn for longer, don't smoke and give a whiter, brighter flame than their competitors.I use a lot of candles of varying specifications but mainly the aforementioned tealights and tapered dinner candles. They give of a nice light in the evening as well as keeping the chill off of the room as the outside temperature falls, plus it's a lot more romantic than electric light.Also out here in the "sticks" we get a lot of prolonged power cuts, so it's nice knowing that with Price's Candles with their long burn times (up to 8Hrs depending on type) that I wont have to be fumbling with candles half way through the night.

These look absolutely gorgeous in our candelabra on our dining table we use when we have guests round for a sit down meal.We have had plenty of compliments about them and my auntie admired them so much we gave her some for Christmas last year and she was thrilled to bits! They burn very well and cleanly and do not have wax dripping everywhere either which is an added bonus. I have used and trusted Prices candles for years and these were a really great price that came in original packaging. They give off a lovely light that is also rather romantic too.Do not hesitate to buy these; you will not be disappointed.

I've burnt six candles for an hour or more & no drips yet. I note that one user had problems but nearly all taper (narrow) candles, I've ever used, have a tendency to drip. Some from the same pack drip more than others. Just be careful & never leave them unattended for more than a short time & if necessary keep the wicks trimmed if the flame gets too tall. I think they're good looking & at the price great value for the money. July 2014:- they're so good I've just purchased another 100 candles.

Excellent Prices candles, white dipped in red but that's what I was expecting from other reviews and they look just as good - and create a small 'rim' when lit that helps stop drips if there's a draught.Great value for the box, we used many over Christmas for that special atmosphere that red candles bring with Christmas decorations. They burned as steadily and brightly as expected, a good buy.Packed well and shipped carefully by Amazon - no breaks.

These candles are excellent value for money, a nice shape and a useful size for decoration or flower arranging.They are a good red - not orangey and the fact that they are white inside is not noticeable under the melting wax when they are lit. In a still room, eg round a dinner table, they burn for 8 hours with no drips but if they are placed in a draught they obviously don't last as long and may drip.I am highly satisfied with this purchase.

They are really good candles-plenty for the price and just what I needed for Christmas table decorations.However, as they are white candles dipped inRed when pushing into candle holder they tended to crack and flake at the bottom- this didn’t matter that much for my purpose as it could not be seen when the greenery was in place.Apart from this problem they burnt well and didn’t drip-I would buy again.

These candles are great value for money, they burn well and don't drip everywhere. they last at least eight hours each and don't smoke, these candles are one of the best on the market, I have never had any problems with them, they are all good, would recommend these candles to everyone, first class, also the queen uses them so they must be good.

Great nondrip candles, you get 50 nondrip candles for the price of 10, the white wax is only visible if you look down on the candles from directly above, given that while the candles are lit doing so is nether practical or good for your future health prospects, the white wax in the centre of the candle isn't going to be a problem

Very pleased with these. I love candle light at Xmas but this can prove expensive if you keep having to buy small packs of candles. I only ever buy Price s candles because of the quality and burn, so was delighted to find a catering size pack. So much cheaper buying in bulk. Very happy customerThankyou.

Im relying heavily on candlelight for my Hygge through incessant Lockdowns and have found these boxes of 50 best value: last through most of an evening and (contrary to picture) don’t drip but just burn down. Preference is red or white but interspersed with the green added a great Christmassy feel.

Candles great - however delivery still slow even when I paid for express next day delivery!If next day is not on offer, why can I pay extra for this service and not get it?Otherwise no problems - will still use you again but will know not to pay for express!Many thanksSusie

There is not a lot you can say about Candles, but these are good quality at a very good price. they arrived well wrapped in a cardboard box (none broken) and they did the job they were purchased for.Very pleased with the product and will be purchasing more.

I bought these for use on the dining table and they are excellent. The funny thing was we had a power cut the day the candles arrived! These are good quality candles and you get loads for your money too. I love the red colour as it is very classy.

Not totally red wax, it's a white candle with a red wax coating - in fact it looks much better two tone ! Burns a lot faster than harder wax candles but this is balanced out by the amount you get for a very low price. I'll be buying these again !
