This bin is alright - but no more. I mainly bought it for the size, as I needed something to fit under the worktop and most tall bins are too tall with the lid open. It's good to have a square bin because it fits a lot more and generally the size is great. However, it seems that the mechanism for opening the lid is not as sturdy as it could be.. operating the mechanism pushes the back wall outwards which makes it come out of its constraint at the bottom (black plastic bottom that holds it in). Bending that outwards means that the mechanism inside (underneath the inner bin) doesn't work so well and the lid doesn't close. This was find the first 2 weeks, then went funny. But a drop of oil fixed it for now.

A good looking bin that fits neatly in a corner. Reasonable capacity
