Well I've said in other reviews that I'm a bit of a sucker for Excalibur games. I actually like their off-the-wall simulation subjects and find the good value, pushing-the envelope-against-all-the-budget-constraints nature of their games charming. So I'm one of those strange people willing to take the rough with the smooth when it comes to Excalibur and the daft premise of do you want to be a Post Master of a large town with a little red van...? well I think why the heck not it makes a change from shooting zombies, and so many hours of harmless fun ensue.I know some people have playback and memory issues with some Excalibur games but I must say I have been lucky to escape them and for me, anyway, this games play well. I think you get a lot for your money and the graphics may be a bit 'retro' but again, that's all part of the charm. So if you fancy trying your hand as a postie [and finding out it's not as easy as you may first imagine] this is a great, fun way for the family to see if it can get the post delivered on time.

Ok so it's not World of Warcraft or some mega HD Playstation blockbuster, but I never expected it to be! I always enjoyed these sort of 'build it yourself', SimCity type games, so when my daughter saw this and expressed an interest in it, I was only too happy to let her give it a try. Neither of us were bothered by the low quality graphics because we expected retro. If you are looking for high-tech simulation with fancy graphics, don't order this game, but if you like the simplicity and retro feel of 90s simulation games and don't expect too much (as we didn't), you shouldn't be too disappointed. We didn't suffer any technical difficulties with this game, but we are running it on an antique Windows XP system with a Pentium 4,2.4GHz processor (as retro as the style of game!). I have had issues with similar games on a newer/faster system, so I guess it is useful to know what sort of system we ran this one on.

great little interactive game this, played it with the grand-kids but power went to 7 year old's head a bit, think he thought he was really the postmaster, anyway the object of the game is to install new post boxes, build new post offices and make sure everything is delivered on time, what you musn't do is have long queues at the post office, or (and this will make you laugh) don't get post offices closed down, sack staff, etc, as you can tell it's in the realms of fantasy - lol
