These are (almost) the original Post-It notes made by 3M which I remember from their launch back in 1974. At 127x76mm they’re possibly a slightly different size having gone metric (I remember using 5x3”) in a now-recycled yellow paper which is perhaps a slightly lighter weight than the originals of 42 years ago. Other than that, nothing has changed and they remain excellent, lightly-adhesive slips which adhere well to most surfaces, including walls, radiators, fridges... Over the years, I have experimented with other copycat brands but they tend to lose their adhesion quickly, especially in cooler weather when I see them lightly floating off the surfaces they’re supposed to be adorning – butthis doesn’t happen with the genuine Post-its.I find them indispensable for use both in the office and at home. When used on paperwork, they can draw attention to a highlighted paragraph, note an amendment, act as an index marker or use them as I did for student study notes and revision when I used them to quickly summarise each page (or chapter) in a series of bullet points for faster revision. At home they have infinite uses – on cupboards to note contents for the elderly, creating shopping lists and memos, reusable bookmarks which don’t fall from books, reminders on the front of the fridge, password reminders on the PC monitor, jotting down summarised directions stuck to the car steering wheel....I have been using these for 40 years and have no plans to change. They’re reliable, as sticky as they need to be, never leave stains and are still as good today as they were 40 years ago. Definitely the best and this pack of 12 pads of 100 notes, all individually wrapped, is an economic and convenient way to replenish stocks.

This large pack contains 12 pads of 100 Post-It notes, each measuring 76 x 127mm. Each pack is individually wrapped in plastic, which suits me as it keeps them clean when stored in the drawer, but maybe isn't the most environmentally friendly packaging. These rectangular notes are a good size for writing messages, study/revision notes, etc. The paper 100% recycled but is nice and smooth to write on, and it's easy to read writing on the pale yellow background. The glue is made from 60% plant products, so more environmentally friendly than the original - it seems just as effective as 'normal' Post-It notes, and removes cleanly and re-sticks once or twice before losing its stickiness. At the time of writing, these are not cheap, working out at over a pound per pad, and I would think twice before paying this much - mostly I can use smaller notes, which might work out a bit cheaper, or use another way of leaving messages. However, if you have a specific use for Post-Its this size, for work, study notes, or important messages, these are easy to write on, and will stick reliably without marking the surface.

The image isn't quite right at time of posting - the notes are film wrapped as in the photo but the logo is the "environmental" one which is a sort of green flower that looks like a vase or something. They're a slightly faded colour and "recycled" texture compared to the normal ones but not nearly enough to put you off buying them.My gripe really is that I've previously had recycled post-its in cardboard packaging which I believe is probably more environmentally friendly than plastic film, not sure why they have chosen to use film wrap for each pad and film wrap holding them all together on this one.Nonetheless the glue and paper is environmentally responsible and accounts for the bulk of the item by volume and weight. They're no different in stickyness to the original type for those who are curious. The only way you can tell the difference is by the colour/weave of the paper.I suppose I'd like to see ALL post-its being recycled rather than just leaving it up to the consumer/store to choose which to buy/stock.

This is a great set of post-it notes that will last for ages. There are twelve pads of the larger (76mm x 127mm) rectangular notes here with each containing 100 post-its. They are each individually cellophane wrapped. Perhaps it would be better to package them in a recycled cardboard box to increase further this product's environmental credentials. A selling point of this particular range is that they are made from 100% recycled paper so kinder to the environment, and even the sticky bit is made with renewable plant adhesive although it is equally as sticky as the less environmentally aware version so is reposition able many times before it loses its stickiness. These are the traditional post-it yellow; perhaps a bit paler than the non-recycled alternative, but certainly bright enough to stand out. There are so many uses for post-its in the office, classroom as I've noted on some of my other "Post-It" reviews. Another great product; the original and the best sticky note!

These are original 'Post-it' notes when supplied direct Amazon, and are all that you expect from a quality stationery manufacturer. There are 12 pads in a pack, each having around 100 post-it notes at the large size of 76x127mm. These are big enough for you to write a clear message on and be seen by anyone passing by your fridge or notice board. Also these pads are made from 100% recycled paper and are presented in a gentle pastel yellow colour. These original notes have a great level of stickiness - they will stay put and still have enough sticky to be moved to another venue without falling to the ground there either. This is perhaps the single greatest advantage of original post-it notes - their high level of stickiness, which doesn't stick to you but does stick appropriately! This is a great value pack of a high quality product and is the sort of thing you need in your stationery cupboard!

This is the way I prefer to get my Post-it Notes - in a solid block wrapped in cellophane that contains two stacks of six Post-it pads. Each pad is individually wrapped. By the time it has been shipped by Amazon and arrived on my desk all the pads are still in perfect condition, not warped or dented. This size of Post-it note is where it all began being 127mm by 76mm. As 3M explored other sizes they moved to the smaller 76mm by 76mm square pads and the even smaller 50mm by 38mm rectangular pads. This kind of note has enough space to write in bigger letters, or to go into more detail with your writing. These pads are recycled and are 60% based on a plant that grows annually, so fairly sustainable,I guess apart from the cellophane wrapping. The pads I received don't look like the product photo, the cellophane wrapping is simpler and focuses on the fact that they're 100% recycled.

A Post-it note (or Sticky Note) is a piece of paper stationery with a re-adhesive strip of adhesive on the back, designed for temporarily attaching notes to documents and other surfaces. Although now available in a wide range of colours, shapes, and sizes, Post-it notes are most commonly a 3-inch (76 mm) square, canary yellow in colour. A unique low-tack adhesive allows the notes to be easily attached and removed without leaving marks or residue.Post-it notes were invented by 3M's Art Fry, using an adhesive developed by a colleague, Spencer Silver. Until the 1990s, when the patent expired, they were produced only in the 3M plant in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Although other companies now produce sticky or repositionable notes, most of the world's Post-it Brand notes are still made in Cynthiana.

These high quality post-it notes are the perfect width for longer notes (or people with terrible handwriting), being about 5 inches wide as opposed to the typical square 3 inch pad. This means they are perfect for to-do lists or more detailed notes you can archive in a notebook.Being recycled, if you look closely you can see a bit more of the texture of the paper than you might normally, and the colour is more of a dull pastel then the typical neon-y colours you might be used to - but that's probably fine once you get used to it and the tradeoff is that they're better for the environment. Less good is the rather fiddly plastic which is hard to get off them, they need a quick-open tab given the premium price relative to alternatives.

You can never have too many Post-It notes and even with 12 pads, I still don't believe that this is an excessive quantity for anyone to buy. These are the most common type of Post-It notes, being the pale yellow rectangular pads which we probably all have lying about the house and office. There probably isn't anyone who hasn't used these in the past and so there is nothing new which I can say about the pads themselves other than that this is probably one of the most economical methods of purchasing them.Whilst I prefer the much more brightly coloured versions, there is certainly no reason why you shouldn't consider these as they will do the job they were always designed to do.

A pack of 12 large post-it pads sized 76 x 127 mm, each containing 100 sticky sheets that will really stand out on a page. I find they are a good size for taking some relatively detailed notes and it is useful to store a pad by the side of the phone/on the desk readily to hand when needed. The notes adhere well to paper and a number of other surfaces but can be removed easily without damaging whatever they have been stuck to, no matter how long they have been say, between the pages of a book. There are alternatives but I haven’t found one yet that is as versatile or reliable as the Post-it brand.

They say that the best inventions are the simplest ones. A small pad of these is so handy to have around. One on the desk for reminders to do - another in the kitchen for lists and notes for others. Use them for bookmarks that don't damage the pages - or to mark a magazine article for someone else's attention. Want to make sure your kids get the message - then stick one right in the middle of the TV screen/computer screen.Absolutely invaluable - but one tip; buy the genuine product and not cheaper imitations (which have a tendency to come unstuck a little too readily!).

.......beyond an good product, serving a useful purpose in the household for notes, reminders, shopping lists etc and when the other half goes out, to leave instructions on for jobs needing your urgent and immediate attention, perchance you might start to enjoy the peace and solitude. But have we reached the stage of human progression and sophistication that unless there is a pad of Post-it Notes readily to hand, we are incapable of communication? What did we do before Post-it Notes.....not communicate? Wow!

28.12.2014

Although not quite as brightly coloured as the standard non-recycled product, they are otherwise identical and are interchangeable with them. Most would not notice the slight colour difference and it matters little.Of a convenient size for noting callers and their numbers, brief messages and anything you choose, they are relatively inexpensive and more so if purchased as a Black Friday deal, as these were.

28.7.2016

These post-its are like the normal ones, but a little bit rougher - you can hardly tell the difference, to be honest, so it's worth buying the recycled ones. The colour is exactly the same as the usual post-its, and the stickiness is exactly the same. Definitely will be choosing these ones in the future, post-it notes tend to be used for a short time and then discarded anyway, why not use recycled ones?

24.12.2013

writing this sort of review is difficult. You must write so many words but in reality it either works or it doesn't. In this case it works thus five stars. A good priced useful item, the colour is not as bright as I had expected but that does not detract from its use.
