Simply the best. I turn up at the Wetherspoon's at 8pm in my Stony clobber with a lukewarm bottle of Grey Goose I got from Morrisons many moons ago, I hunker down at table 56 (far corner), I do this so I can put the bottle by my leg and if I buy an all-day brunch the fit waitress won't kick me to the curb. I buy a pint of Pepsi, a double Grey Goose, Pepsi and a meal and I sit back down, not many people about, it's to be expected on a Monday night, sometimes I don't know why I bother. It's 8:20 now and I'm still alone, starting to look like a bitch, my feed has arrived and I'm chowing down on a tasty deal, looking at my phone and there's two texts from Baz but nothing important, still no signs of my pels though which hurts me greatly. I've drank my alcoholic bevvy and now and I'm ever so slyly filling glass from my personal supply, it's starting to get boring so I head upstairs. There I am, sat in the cubicle closest to the door, I've got my iPhone face down on my lap and I'm looking into my wallet, which card do I use the least? My Nectar card? My casino ID card? I go with the Nectar, Sainsburys are garbage anyway. Burying my index finger into the free card slot in my wallet and I strike the white gold. I start digging my keys out when I hear someone walk in, the footsteps clap against the wooden floor and are quickly substituted for the sound of urine hitting metal, I've got to be quick, I bite the seal open and start scooping out the goodness onto the back of my phone. My Nectar card separates the powder into three slugs of happiness, the plastic fiver I rolled up is sharp as it digs into my nose (I've just been Winston'd) but I know something that will numb the sting...It's 10pm and my buddies have turned up, we've got the barn going, we're ribbing Oats because he fell in love with someone whose genitals don't have many prerequisites for entry, having a good old time! My toes are curling, I'm giddy with delight, my blue moon rivets in exits! My Grey Goose is half-full by this point, I can hear the rich, melodic textures of ambient music intensifying in my head.Fade in, I'm leaning over the bar at Helk and my friend has had to call the cops as I'm off my chops! It takes a herculean amount of effort not to bust my considerable nut on the skimpy Greek wook with dreads behind the bar but that's okay because I can hear System of a Down throttling the punters with their unique brand of thrashy metal goodness and I'm feeling great. I make a beeline to the fire escape, I'm feeling the buzz, I'm alive! I'm alive again! My boxer shorts are sticking to my pipe and plums, it appears the white slugs have corrupted my brain with a reverberating vibrancy unknown in previous lives, feeling this good should be illegal. I'm chatting crap to the burly mosher in the Raiders jersey at the top of the stairs, my good time is dampened by a foul incursion of my senses, the chap I'm having a good old chin wag with is clearly a clod who doesn't hold personal hygiene in high regard! So, I say to him:''You foolish fool! You're harshing my mellow, you're ruining my high! Wash immediately or shall engage in fisticuffs! Square go like!''Long story short I did some Ketamine and was pushed down the fire escape and got a taxi home and played this while high on donkey dust and it was the greatest experience of my life

My Experience: Gamer/Father/Husband/VR NutVideo: Watch how naturally I pick up the clip and gun in London Heist and how easy it is for me to move the gun from one hand to the other. Also how I was able to keep my gun trained on one enemy whilst peeking over to the other side to see what the other guy is doing (all whilst my wife is silently laughing at me whilst taking this video).Short Review:These 5 mini games, though exemplify the technology well, don’t offer any replay-ability. You’ll try them once or twice and then only load it again when you have visitors. But that’s where it really shines. When it comes to showing off the technology, people want short bursts of VR goodness, which is what this offers. It’s really funny to see if people can make it through Ocean Descent without freaking out. It's really important to note that Sony published this game. That means the games do feel well rounded and "complete" unlike some other games out there *coughLOADING HUMANcough*. Great games make use of the move controllers in ways that really immerse the user. Opening drawers in London Heist is just amazing and natural. I would be keeping my eye on an enemy, whilst opening a drawer, picking up a gun and clip and loading the gun, without taking my eyes off the enemy. This kind of immersion, where you don't need to look at something, yet know that it's still there, is just amazing. It truly pulls you into that world. Other games by 3rd party developers that are simply just ports into VR and don't make use of the 3D canvas are simply not worth itPSVR generally has taken a lot of flack when it comes to graphical fidelity of the games. I think the real issue with graphics is when a game is trying too hard to look realistic. Ocean Descent and London Heist are good examples of this. Yes they do a fantastic job, but because the subject matter is so "real world" it's a target for people to notice that "it just doesn't look real enough". They make up for it by having awesome shark jump scares and satisfying gun and hand mechanisms that feel natural. I remember how my friends mind simply blew when I told him he can stand up and shoot over the counter, or that he can lean out the window and shoot over the car to the other side. People wouldn't say Finding Nemo didn't look "real enough" right? You accept in your mind that it's not real, but the presence you have in physical space and depth still immerses you into that world. In conclusion, most people who are buying PSVR are doing so to not just enjoy it themselves, but to show others what it's capable of. Tis' the exact definition of early adopters. And we need those people because without them people would not know how awesome this technology is and it wouldn't be developed further. So basically what I'm saying is that HUMANITY needs you to buy this game, even if it's only 4 stars by my rating. It's still a MUST BUY.LINK TO MY FULL REVIEW OF PSVR AND GAMES: https://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R3VOD0ZAE6AEO/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm

I got VR Worlds as part of the bundle. I was expecting very little from it and so ordered Star Trek Bridge Crew as well, because I figured VR Worlds would be little more than an interesting but forgettable selection of tech demos... How wrong I was. It turns out when I switch on my PSVR now, Im more inclined to load up VR Worlds for a game of Danger Ball, than I am to play the full price game!VR Worlds sucks you in right from the word go. The main hub area where you select your chosen game is itself a VR showpiece, which is breathtaking in its own right. You begin in the dark but in the distance you see a firewall coming towards you. The light reveals that its travelling down a hallway lined with columns, this is an ancient temple. Eventually, the fireball makes it way to you and lights up the whole temple around you. Its then that you first get that amazing feeling of being IN the game world. You can look up and turn 360 degrees, look down and even crouch to look closely at the flagstone floor. All the while the fireball is whizzing around you. The feeling of depth and immersion is something else. You are there. You instinctively want to reach out to touch the fireball and of course you do this while holding the dualshock in your hand. The dualshock is rendered perfectly in the gameworld and its movements are almost 1 for 1 with your own. You then tap the fireball with the dualshock and it begins to spin, flash and spit out little fire explosions as you manipulate it.I was literally sitting agog while doing this. I can categorically say that technology has not wowed me like this since I was 13 years old and played Doom for the first time!If anyone doubts that VR is a fad akin to 3d tv, check out VR Worlds. The London Heist and the Ocean Diving level in particular showcase the power of VR. I can only imagine what this technology will achieve in the years to come when 1) its in the hands of skilled developers who can marry the novelty to actually great gameplay which stands up in its own rightand 2) When the lens and resolution can be upgraded to improve the clarity and sharpness of the visuals.Easily the best £200 Ive spent on tech in many a year. And thats even if I rarely ever put it on for the next 6 months!

This is a great introduction to VR, containing a variety of experiences to whet your appetite, but it is by no means anything that will keep you occupied for very long. I suspect this was a bit of a rush-job to have something ready for launch day, and I would have been happier if the price had been pitched around the £15 mark instead of the £24 that it was on release. That said, it's worth playing just for the London Heist, which literally puts you in the middle of the action as though you're actually there. It's an unusual experience in the sense that you are permanently glued to your seat, as the action takes place all around you, but that actually works better than you might think. From being tied to a chair getting interrogated, to being sat at a desk searching for a diamond, to being the passenger in a getaway vehicle fending off the heavy mob, this is a unique journey like no other.Danger Ball is the closest to being in a Tron videogame that I have ever been. The sounds and visuals are incredibly atmospheric, although controlling the paddle by moving your visor takes its toll on your neck after a while. Imagine sitting still whilst moving your head up, down, left and right continuously, and you get the idea.Into The Deep is just a cage-diving experience, but a delightful one at that. Well, delightful until the shark attack that is. If you can sit through that without tucking your legs beneath you then you managed more than I did!Scavenger's Odyssey is a sci-fi shooter, that straps you into an mech suit offering 360 degree movement. This is the only game on the disc that offers that kind of movement, and the only one that made me feel a bit dizzy and disoriented. I also thought the graphics were too blurry to be enjoyable, particularly when looking into the distance. It was a nice experience to try, but left me in no hurry to try it again.VR Luge is the runt of the litter on this disc. This is another game to control by moving your head left and right, rolling down a hill on your back whilst avoiding the oncoming traffic. Another good example of what I don't like in VR.Overall, a worthwhile purchase if you can pick it up at the right price, and a nice introduction to what VR has to offer.

This was the first game I played for the PS VR, firstly its nice to have five games in one, the games themselves are very immersive however they are a little short!,We started with the with in to the deep, the graphics were more impressive than I thought as I read a lot of reviews about poor graphics, I thought it was excellent, it reminded me of being in the Trocadero playing VR first time around for £2 for about 5 minutes in early 90s. Its very immersive and immediately you feel like you are part of it. The interaction with the shark was very realistic.Second game was Scavengers Odessy, this one you fly in a space ship that walks, this also felt very interactive and I like the detail such as the aliens fingers moving when you press a button. This one did make me feel a little motion sick as you jump from asteroid to asteroid but also felt interactive, this game feels almost like a full game.Third was VR Luge, this is like racing on a skateboard lying down dodging traffic, the idea of steering with you head is neat and graphics are also reasonable. Part of the challenge with this one is that lying down means I had to adjust the PS4 Camera and it doesn't work that well, sitting is better but you don't feel like you are actually there.Next was London heist, this also felt very realistic and I enjoyed playing this one although it is a little short and it requires the move controllers to get the best out of it. This does feel like a preview for a max payne type game. What prompted me to go for this and PS VR was a recent trip to Thorpe park on darren browns ghost train. VR has come a long wayI would say this is a good introduction to PS VR, alternatively if you download the US VR Demo disc you get about 12 demos, to do this create a PSN ID on the US site, login on your PS4, order it (free) then sign back in with your UK account and play!

VR worlds is an excellent introduction to the VR experience with five games in one.London Heist being a particular favourite, although it is highly advisable to pick up the additional move controllers to get the fully immersive experience. The experience lasts around 30 minutes and is hugely enjoyable.Scavengers Odyssey is a sci-fi/mech style shooter with a very basic story and solid moving/shooting mechanics. This was the game that gave me the most issues in terms of motion sickness but this is obviously a personal preference.Danger ball is an exceptionally competitive ‘pong’ style game where you have to keep hitting the ball back to a variety of different opponents. This is particular fun watching friends play this and passing the headset around for longer play sessions.Ocean Descent is entirely narrative, with no movement apart from via the headset but still offers an immersive encounter with a few heart pounding moments (dependent on the mode you are playing). This is always the first thing I would show guests if they wanted to sample VR.VR luge is a very odd one to describe as I personally dislike it (with little replay value or even effort involved in the process) whereas other people have loved it when I have showed them.At the reduced price it is hard to not recommend VR worlds and as it now seems to come bundled in with most VR packages it is a worthy addition to any collection. Note that it is a downloadable code not a physical game.

Got this for Christmas to use with the VR set I bought for myself. I have been playing around with it for a few weekends and fond out the following.Ocean descent is cool, its good to introduce someone to VR with and watch them crap their pants too. For someone like me its perfect for working out on the station bike in the living room as you dont need the controller.Heist was not my cup of tea but the shoot out part was fun.Scavenger was fun at the start but I had to take it off before I barfed everywhere. You need to jump long distances and the camera tends to swerve which me want to puke. Its a shame because I enjoyed the idea of the game.If they left the jumps straight it would have been fine. The best game by far was Danger Ball which I know I will be playing again and again over the next while. Its fun to Challenger friends to beat your score and it wont make you throw up. Its fun and also can be done on a station bike since its head motion is all that is needed.Oh and I didn't even last two seconds with the other bobsledding one I had to stop. Every time I hit something I felt very ill that game is too fast and every time you knock off something I needed to puke....so no thanks.Honestly I did get my moneys worth with Danger ball I am constantly trying to beat a record, its an ongoing war! Ocean descent is really good to have for any visitors who have never experienced VR before.

This game came as a bundle when I purchased the VR headset and I wasn't expecting too much to be honest. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It is designed to showcase VR and it does that incredibly well as there is a good assortment of 'mini' games to give you a first experience with what VR can do. Because of the variety, most people should be able to find one that matches one of their favourite genres, (it's not all combat). It also lets you see how susceptible you are to motion sickness but this isn't much of an issue, just take breaks and you will find that it gets better over time anyway and before long there is no motion sickness. (Motion sickness varies greatly between people so don't be alarmed if you find it worse,I have known some people feel sick on driving sims)! If you are considering VR, I would recommend trying this. I have let a few friends try it and they have gone out to buy a headset shortly afterwards, it's that impressive.

This is a great way to show off the PlayStation VR to your friends. It’s basically a glorified demo disc containing 5 short games. The London Heist is the best of the bunch, adults only though due to violence and swearing.Into The Deep has three modes, first one is impressive where you dive with sharks while the other two are basically the same.Danger Ball reminds me of a Tron Legacy game where you bat a ball between yourself and the computer. Fairly decent and makes you play again.Scavenger’s Odyssey is also decent, you drive/ride a mechanical machine in space whilst blasting enemies.VR Luge is probably the worst of the lot, riding down a hill whilst moving your head left and right to avoid obstacles.I’m glad this isn’t a full priced £40+ game and is worth getting to start off your collection with.

PlayStation VR Worlds packages up 5 experiences to give people a taster of what Sony's newest toy is capable of!Let's clarify something. A lot of people are complaining as some if these experiences ain't very long and whilst that is true I think the pricing reflects this!In terms of gameplay the experiences have a wide variety to offer.. London Heist and Scavengers Odessey give you plenty to shoot at! Ocean descent is a fun little trip into the sea. Danger ball is a bit like VR pong and Luge is basically hurtling you down a street at 100mph.I haven't felt any nausea from playing although Scavengers Odessey does mess with your head a bit!I have never been as immersed in a world so far as I havewith PSVR and this collection does help show what is capable!!Overall a worthwhile purchase!!

Great little collection of short games to step into the world of VR. The collection covers a few different types of gaming experiences, lots to gauge what you will like, show friends and family, or simply ease you in. Shark is a beautiful demo and great to show people the system, the down hill racer is good to freak people out, danger ball is a revamped pong which is really good fun. But I really hope the studios behind London Heist and Scavengers Odyssey go on to create longer stand alone versions of their games. They both had great story lines, characters, fantastic game play and beautiful crafted worlds.

17.8.2017

Lots of fun, However the VR Luge needs to be played in moderation.London Heist was funny, Original and really good sound and visuals making it an immersive experience.During the London Heist, when in the back of mickys Pub/Bar there is a cigar on the table which you can pick up, (You may need the vr controllers for this part) bring it to your mouth and breathe in then a couple seconds later breathe out. You'll find the controller sensors detects the breathe and you end up actually smoking in vr! Its a neat feature that shows off the sensors in the controllers.

17.10.2016

This is 5 game collection, the shark attack is a classic but short,a downhill racer moving your head to turn through traffic time attack game, a futuristic breakout game like tron discs, a space shooter game like a mixture of jumping flash and space craft shooting, and a gangster game that's great but very short, its drop in and play games, great show of how it will work in bigger games in the future, i downloaded off store for £30 as prices for disc version have jumped to 50-60 notes.

14.10.2016

If you have PSVR you need this in your life. Let's face it the games released are limited at the moment. If this is a preview of what we can get one day (especially the London Heist) then PSVR will not be a flash in the pan. Yes the games are relatively on the short side but this is entertaining and dangerball in particular I can see being a great Christmas Day game for the family! Worth the purchase price for the experience in the 'hall' at the beginning - fantastic detail
