The purpose of playdoh plus is for the sets with syringes, icing, etc basically any tool you need to squeeze the playdoh through. Hence it’s much softer consistency. If you want to roll it, use cutters, shape it by hand etc you need to buy the original playdoh. Most of these negative reviews are buyers purchasing the wrong type of playdoh for their needs.If you use it for its intended purpose playdoh plus is perfect. It allows my toddlers to use plungers unassisted whereas the normal playdoh is too thick and they don’t have the strength. We have the icecream kit and this playdoh makes perfectly smooth whippy style cones.Also be aware this is set is the small size tubs and not the standard.

Okay this play-doh is not normal playdoh. If you want to roll, sculpt, cut, shape the playdoh you need the standard stuff in the yellow tub!! YELLOW tub people!!! Pla-doh Plus is for the new fangled sets like the icecream shoppe or cake making. Its a much softer consistency than standard pla-doh so that you can "pipe" it for decoration. This is not the doh you need as a basic starter set, this is ideal as a refill for the sets which require icecream/icing type effects. And when used for that purpose. It's brilliant.

We bloody love this stuff. cheap, home-made play-dough simply doesn't cut the mustard, turns the skin on your hands to leather. |Real play-doh. this play-doh plus is the same gorgeous smell but softer for little fingers. mummy loves it too and an afternoon playing play-doh is perfect even if I am 42. you're never too old for a bit of play-doh action. I still enjoy fashioning play-doh winkies and chasing my husband with them. we pretend it's wwiggly woo the worm to our daughter.

Nice item, these are great for the kitchen creation sets as they make great “icing”. My son was chuffed to bits. I do find that once they’ve been used the volume reduces quite dramatically, I think they are whipped or something so when you actually use them they condense a little. It’s not a problem but we did spend a while looking for the other half of the tub we thought we’d lost (as it was full when opened) but we realised when it happened with the other colours!

Bought for a 6 year old who found the selection of colours delightful and has enjoyed playing with the Doh. However, she needs reminding to put it back in the tub and put the lid on or it will go hard - fine if you want it too - but not if you plan to use it again another time. Very soft and malleable a great substance for learning finger control and fine motor skill development.

This playdoh plus is great and if used correctly i.e. Just for squeezing through the ice cream maker and spaghetti maker etc then it's fab it's not for the little moulds that's just for the normal playdoh ?

The product is messy, gets into all the carpet areas, and sticks like mad when played with too often.......but, endless fun for nephew! Thank you.....

My son love playdoh and so do I secretly these ones are amazing for the cake decorating they are soft so come out in the piping set nicely

Bought as a present but didn't realise that they were only very small tubs, not the larger ones. Lovely selection of colours.

This isn't your standard play doh, it's much softer and smells quiet pleasent. Perfect for making play doh ice creams :D

This play dough smells really nice and I use it to play with when I am stressed. It doesn't dry easy which is good.

Life saver as granddaughter's existing supply had been squeezed into submission. Added to the range of colours too.

nice squishy playdough. A bit more difficult to scrape of a carpet, however a baby wipe took care of the residue.
