I've fished alone since I was 8 years old on a farm and in a time where that's all we had. Plano was my first tackle box. It was a minimalist version eventually bound by a leather belt to keep shut and act as a handle. As a new grandfather of two grandboys, I wanted bragging rights with a new tackle box. This one has it all. I cannot top the current reviews and photos submitted. All I can do is agree. I still leave the rubber worms out because they melted into my old box (never understood the reason). At this time in my life, I only catch and eat crappie. Three days before Thanksgiving 2015, I lost my father to liver cirrhosis and plan on teaching my grand boys all about fishing...lest a generation forgets because people like me lost passion.

I purchased this for my Husband for Christmas. My original intent was to get him something that he could combine all his smaller tackle boxes into. This is not the box to buy. It is on the smaller side. But it is a great tackle box and he has decided to move one of his older smaller boxes into this one. He is really happy with the box and I am too. The price is VERY reasonable in comparison to the same size boxes in the Bait and Tackle Stores. So I would suggest going to the bait and tackle stores do some measurements before making a purchase online to ensure the proper size box. But again for the price you cannot beat the Plano product you receive.PROS: Great Price, Great Looking Box, PLANO brand,

Bought this for my 5-year-old son. After looking through tons of lego products that were overpriced and did not have enough storage, I remembered that when I was little my mom bought my brother his own Plano tackle box to organize his collection. Very impressed with the organizational capabilities of the trays - they will fit all different sizes, and come with some extra little 'walls' to make smaller compartments in the trays. the top section is tall enough that some of his already-put-together vehicles will fit in them, as well as all of those booklets. He loves that he can find everything himself and carry it around with no problem! May have to buy another one if he ever exceeds the storage capacity of this one,

Well, my old Plano 4 drawer finally gave out. It was a hand me down from my dad and I had always been happy with the old one. This is a nice upgrade, I like having the two see-through areas on the top of the box. Easy to throw some simple items in there. The only thing that I noticed that was really different from my old tackle box (circa 1990) was that the bottom two drawers in it had wider slots, which I think I liked more than having narrower slots, but an extra slot in each of the bottom two drawers. Overall, a very good purchase. I like the comfy grip handle. Hoping this one can make it another 25 years!

I'm using as a light tool box, not a tackle box. Wish they made a toolversion for machinists with same size box but more drawers and lessbuilt in dividers. Will probably modify dividers with a dremel tool. Alsopleasantly surprised that this box was MADE IN USA. That wasn'tstated anywhere in description or product details. I always look forthat. Very pleased with the box.I modified the dividers with a razor knife instead of a dremel tool. The drawersdid not come out far enough so I used the razor knife to cut off the drawer stops.Worked very well for storage of small tools and parts.

this tackle box is exactly what i wanted, its just not for fishing tackle. i use if for my painting supplies, all the drawers holds my oil paints and supplies, and the top is big enough for all my brushes. i love it, and i bet it would be great for fishing too. however, it would be great for any crafty person who needs easy access to supplies. so glad i bought it, and it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. thank you so much. i am so very pleased.

this product worked well I was intending to separate my bass plugs from everything else and this had a lot of storage I might be buying another one though so I can keep the rest of my bass stuff together.I used my old boxes for river fishing. the only complaint I have is the snaps are as little stiff as expected with new plastic and will simply require a little bit of breaking in

I like the tackle box, am a little disappointed with the amount of room under the top lid. The 2 compartments in the lid cut down on the amount of storage in this area. Will just take a little getting used to!Other than that, the "front door" latches are much improved over my previous Plano box. Hope this one lasts as long as my old one!!

I don't fish, but I do bead. I was tired of all of the different things I was using to store beads so I ordered this box in order to have everything in one box. It worked perfectly for me needs. Sturdy, plenty of compartments, etc. I put my tools in the top, beads and findings in various drawers, etc. It came quickly and I am very pleased.

I belong to a woodcarving club in the high desert and this tackle box is just perfect for carrying my tools and any small projects that I happen to be working on at the moment. It has enough drawers and dividers to separate my gauges and chisels without them banging against each other. Will probably keep this for a very long time.

I recieved the package on time. It was shipped professionally. My husband LOVED it. The compartments are stable, the design is pretty solid and clean. You have alot of choices to sort out your supplies with the cubbies in each drawer. You have more than enough room for all of your fishing supplies with this tacklebox.

I bought because I had one like this and still have it. Old one just getting worn out. Made in USA. Only problem with tackle box, but after many, many years. The latch will wear out first or break making the whole process of carrying it with the handle impossible. I fixed and re=rigged. my old one a couple of times.

I picked this up for my RC car tools and spares. It really works great and can be configured as you like with all the little dividers it comes with.I collect Vintage Tamiya stuff and even the Tamiya paint fits perfectly!It's very strong and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fishing OR RC car tool box

Good value. Holds lots of gear. Top hatch holds spools of line no problem. Tray dividers are permanent and not quite to my liking. Took a razor blade and cut out the dividers I didn't want. Box is quite large. I use it as a home base box at home, and fill a smaller box with what I need for my fishing outings.

Great organizing system if you are like me and a little OCD. I now own 3 of these. 1 for gun cleaning gear, 1 for leather working tools, and 1 for electronic components and tools. I bought the first one about 8 years ago and it is still in great shape after a great deal of use.
