We bought this dolls house for ours sons and daughter, aged 2 and 1, as we wanted to get something that would last and they could play with for years. We also wanted a wooden house as we are fed up of plastic toys and being ecofriendly was a massive bonus.The house arrives completely flat packed, wrapped in brown paper. At first, I thought it looked pretty complicated but the instructions are very clear and easy to follow and It took less than 30minutes to put together with a screwdriver (DIY is not usually my thing!)The main house has three levels and the smaller has two, they are both open plan so easily accessible to little hands, there is even a front door.

Our son loves this house and plays with it every day. It is great for him because it has so many openings, and he really loves the little door that you can swing open and closed. I like that it came with a full set of furniture so I didn't have to spend loads filling it up. I do wish it had come with a family but we purchased one separately without any problems.It was a bit niggly to put together and took my husband and I about an hour. I would recommend not tightening it up until you've got all the bits in place, and perhaps starting with the smaller of the house-halves so that you can warm up a bit although the directions have you building the larger half first.All in all it was a great

Bought this for 3 year granddaughter and it was an instant hit. You can access all sides of the house which makes it very easy to play with friends. It is quite large so needs storage space and the figures that we bought with it were disappointing.

I really wanted an ethically made dolls house for my daughter and this is it. I've even confirmed with the manufacturer that there is no formaldehyde in the glue used - they sent me a report from an independent testing facility.
