I actually have Pirelli tires on my SUV for the last couple of months and loved it. Smooth ride and much quieter compare to other tires I had. So I am excited to see if the Pirelli bicycle tire could give me the same experience. I put it on my rear wheel, mounted on a Dura Ace C24, my go to wheel for long distance and hill climbing.Since I have only one tire to evaluate, it is a little hard to really judge how "grippy" it is on the pavement, wet and dry. I got the chance to ride on wet road the other day with a light rain. At no time I found the rear wheel slippery on wet road, much better than expected judging from the lack of visible tread. On dry road, most tires perform the same.I inflated the tire to 85psi. same as my other Continental tires of the same size. I notice a very smooth ride and quiet, hardly any road noise from stretches of rough pavement on my training ride. No slipping on tight cornering, but the tire is new. Not sure about puncture resistant, as I did not look for bad surface of glass sharks and debris to ride on.As I mentioned, the only way to really measure the performance of this tire is to ride with a pair, front and rear. I will wait to get another Pirelli Pzero Velo to try on.

I put this on the front rim of my hybrid/commuter bike, with a continental top contact pro II tire in the rear. As such, it's difficult to fully evaluate the efficacy of this tire. What I have observed has been largely positive. The tire was easy to thread and the casing has held up to all manner of abuse as well as my gatorskins and top contacts. No major cuts or punctures from glass, thorns, etc on the road. It also does help with absorption of buzz on the road, surprisingly, which offsets the fact that by carbon fork and aluminum frame don't do much on their own. It's not perfect but rather a layered dampening effect. Lastly, on the pro side,I do feel like it's got great traction. My only complaint and it's difficult to prove out on the road, is that I feel -slower-. I don't know what kind of rolling resistance stats the tire claims, but I don't feel like I can coast as long as I do on my top contact.

This is Pirelli's new general purpose training/racing clincher road bike tire. On my bike, rolling resistance and cornering performance is very similar to the very popular (and similarly priced) Continental GP4000sII tires. Independent lab tests that I've read say that puncture performance is similar as well. These tires are not as puncture resistant as the stiff Gatorskin or Armadillo tires, but these are much more lively on the road. The best tire for you depends on your riding style and performance, but these work great for me. These Pirelli's come in 23, 25, or 28mm widths (currently separate listings on Amazon).

I've been curious to try Pirelli since they started making bike tires a few years ago. I'm not racing, so I debated whether to get these for less weight or the all-season version for more durability, but I decided to try these first and see how it went. Good choice -- I rode them all summer, on some rough roads and a bit of gravel, and didn't get one flat. This might be the first year that has ever happened. The performance was good, too -- they seemed at least as fast and secure in corners as any other brand I've tried. I'll buy these again!

I dislike the fact that Amazon allows anyone to review products without being a verified purchaser. I felt compelled to give a review because I don't trust that other review is honest! I bought a pair to replace my brand new Specialized S-Works tyres and I am not disappointed. Great grip and feels no different than the more expensive S-Works which is great also but I wanted the tan sidewalls :-) Amazon should only use verified purchasers!

These tires are amazing. I have already logged hundreds of miles in an urban setting (Chicagoland) without any issues. They hold the road and tight corners and despite less-than-ideal pavement (pitted, rocks, glass..:all that you would expect), I have had an excellent experience with these tires. I am so pleased with these. That I have purchased backups, knowing that I will be riding on these for years! Highly recommend

Honestly, I haven’t ridden the bike yet since mounting these on a pair of Fulcrum Racing 1 wheels yet, but I do want to say these were the easiest road bike tires to mount I’ve come across. This is the first set of 25’s I’ve mounted on this particular bike. They slid over the rims with no effort whatsoever. I’m looking forward to my first ride on them tomorrow morning.

After ~100 miles on broken NorCal roads and chip seal, the 23c feels as fast as the venerable GP4000S2, but the ride is much less harsh. I'll have to put some more miles to see how the sidewalls hold to cut (that is usually where the GP4000 falls short).Update: ~200 miles in, got a huge cut in the sidewall ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I had really cheap tires that came with my bike that were a pain to put on and take off the wheels. These are much more supple and infinitely easier to put on and take off by comparison. I can also pump them up 50 percent more and go, yea 50 PERCENT FASTER or something like that. I'm pumped!

Extremely supple and spectacular grip. Definitely prone to flats though so if you live in an area with lots of glass/gnarly stuff on the road I would stay clear. That is not why I purchased these though, I use these to race and they corner ridiculously well and inspire confidence.

After more than 1000 km with these tires, I must admit that they are excellent. I drive on roads sometimes covered with gravel and my fear was the risk of punctures. So far nothing to report, good handling, short braking. I recommend it even if the design is not unanimous.

Pirelli quality. Period. You won’t go wrong. Value for the money! Super lightweight tires and where I train the roads are not in great shape and still I haven’t got any punctures after 450 kilometers.

Great tire for those with discerning expectations. Be sure to check with your bike mfg. for sizing allocations. The 700x25 was better ride, for me, but the tire was rubbing on the frame.

These tires are incredible. I can tell they are meant for racing and not training but for any lost miles by not going with a “training” tire the ride more than makes up for it.

perfectly meets the requirements I set for a tire. Good grip and runs smoothly on the road and not a single puncture yet.
