After being one of those people who are constantly finishing exams last (or not at all in some cases), I decided that enough was enough and so bought these pens after reading the positive reviews. They don't feel heavy and bumpy in the hand like most pens and they don't feel like they're actually scraping into the paper - instead they glide quickly over the paper and don't give me a dead hand. With the first time using them, I actually finished my exam second (never done that before) and managed to get a very respectable grade. Not even joking, I owe my exam results to these pens (haha). Will never go into another exam without them ever again!

I love the way these pens just seem to glide across the page, making the chore of writing in this digital age a pleasure rather than a chore. I always have one or two on my desk at home and in work and hate writing with anything else except a nice Parker I keep exclusively for client meetings. Since they do seem to run out quite quickly and go missing occasionally, I decided just to buy in bulk and save money in the long run!The ink does stay damp for a while so is prone to smudging when writing on greetings cards etc. but other than the fact they do seem to run out quite quickly these pens are just a joy to write with.

Absolutely loved these pens, brilliant for general use.I found myself at a loss looking for pens that I could use for taking notes and general work. The market seemed flooded with so many different options, all of which were 'quick drying' and 'comfortable for extended use'. Having gone through a few pens, and made rather a habit of using different pens, I have found that fantastic pen that I was searching for.Look no further than the Pilot G2s.My only (slight) negative was that they seemed to run out a little quickly, but maybe that's because I was writing with them so much because I enjoyed using them!

These pens are pretty much the only thing I write with, sure they're kinda expensive, but honestly, I find it difficult to use anything else after using these for so long. They write so smoothly and quickly that everything else feels slow, like they have a fault, to the point that these don't give me hand cramps when writing huge essays. My only complaint is that they seem to run out quickly, but being a student at college, I tend to write at least 3-4 pages per day, so that's probably why.Final verdict? Great for everything from occasional note taking to writing 10 page essays, would definitely reccomend

These are great pens, they always start (unlike some inexpensive ball point pens), you can leave them in your car, or a pocket and they do not leak...they don't seem to dry-up either. The writing action is smooth, consistent and dense, so it photocopies/scans perfectly. The ink does not generally soak through cheaper paper and never "blobs" and dries quickly/instantly on most surfaces. These pens are really fabulous value from Amazon...if you don't believe me buy one and you will soon be convinced! This retractable version is in my opinion preferable to the capped version as you do not have a cap to lose!

I bought these to compare with the Mitsubishi Uni-ball Gel Grip, which we were not completely happy with. My Mum much prefers to use a soft grip gel pen, because of her arthritis.I liked that the G2 has the advantage of being retractable, delivers a slightly neater script and lasts longer. The pocket grip may also be stronger, but is not something that we use. To be fair the Pilot G2 is more expensive than a Uni-ball, but I think is worth paying a little extra for.

Lovely pens.Comfortable to hold and write with, Helpful for those with arthritis.Unlike many similar pens, the ink dries very quickly, so little risk of smudging. Also is more water resistant.Good strong red ink.Retractable mechanism has proved very reliable.I bought these red pens to be used with black ink refills, as I wanted pens that are easier to find in a handbag.Don't expect the ink to outlive the pen itself. It is wise to have spares in stock.

I like these pens most of all because when you pick them up, click them open and put them to paper they write straight away: no more grinding them down until the ink bleeds out all over the place just to get them working!I find they are easy to hold (a bonus because I have somewhat over-sized hands) and they just write so nicely.I can't find a single thing to moan about as far as these go.Except to say it would be nice if they only cost a penny each...

These pens are great, particularly if you're left handed. Gel pens normally smudge easily which is a pain if you're left handed like me as your hand naturally moves over what you've written. Cue a hand covered in ink and a page in a mess. But not so with the Pilot G207 - the ink looks like it'd smudge easily but just doesn't. Writing is fine, the pen is comfortable and is noticeably better quality than most standard-priced pens you can buy.

I'm a left-hander so I'm limited on which pens I use because of the extra pressure stops a lot of ball points from working. The Pilot G2 0.7 pens write really well every time and the gel ink drys quickly enough that my hand doesn't smudge what I'm writing. The only unfortunately thing with these pens is that they do write so well for a "generic" pen that people tend to borrow and not return them.I buy these by the box for price.

I've been using these gel pens for years and they're the best ones around, in my opinion. They're comfortable to hold/use if you have RSI-type muscular problems and need to avoid thin pens; and they write smoothly without clogging/blotting. Whenever I lend one of mine to someone, they always comment on what a good pen it is. I hadn't seen an orange one before, so I bought it for a bit of fun. It's perfectly legible.

Excellent and genuine Pilot pens. Ran out of my small pack while writing Christmas cards and these arrived astonishingly fast even on free delivery. Much better value than buying packs of 2 or 3 pens and great to know you have a plentiful supply in stock! Love the rubber grip and lovely clear mid blue ink. Have used for some time and don't want to use anything else (except a fountain pen for special occasions).

As a teacher I find myself using endless purple pens. These are far superior to any purple pens I have used to mark with in the past. Firstly, the rollerball gives a beautiful feel when writing with no scratching on the paper. Secondly, the colour is a nice deep purple, not lilac.Lastly, the feeling when you see the gel actually going down is brilliant. It gives a real sense of achievement when marking.

Fantastic pens. Easy to write with, comfortable to hold, no smudging etc.5* for the pens, but marked down here as the price charged by Amazon themselves is greater than £1 more expensive than the cheapest Marketplace seller with free delivery. Essentially paying a Prime premium on top of Prime membership for next day delivery, which peeves a bit. :-\Can't go wrong with the pens though.

I love these pens! As a left-hander, it can sometimes be hard to find a good, free-flowing, inexpensive pen that doesn't smudge as I write, but these pens do the job perfectly. The ink is a nice, solid, black colour unlike some ballpoint pens which can come out grey and patchy. The grip is comfortable to hold and the retractor works reliably. I would buy again!
