Hunted through scents for 'notes' my mum would enjoy and positive reviews. Found reassurance in Philosophy brand generally on several websites which made me feel this would be worth a try. I've never purchased fragrance online for myself or a gift, but have faced up to the fact that 2020 is 'oh so different!' lol.I was looking for something special but not bank breaking to be delivered to my mum's home for her birthday.She now has it and says she loves it and is wearing it every day. She says the smell is just 'as she likes' and is a lovely clean scent that lasts all day. Her husband has commented he likes it too so I'm chalking it up as a win.

It's incredibly hard to describe a scent that's got no equivalent in the natural world.This doesn't really remind me of any soap that I've ever had, but it does remind me of a fragrance I had 40 odd years ago in a candle making kit. It's a sort of "sherbet without the sweetness" smell that's rather nice and quite complex.It won't make you smell like you've just washed with soap, but it does have a nice clean smell to it.

This perfume smells like clean clothes just after they've been ironed. Warm and comforting. I honestly can't put into words how much I love this perfume. I took a chance and bought it without sampling it first, as I couldn't find it in any shops. It smells better than I'd hoped. I've had this perfume a few days now and putting it on is absolutely the highlight of my morning.

This is a really nice, refreshing perfume. It has floral overtones but you can get a hint of the musk base which gives the fragrance a warmth. The packaging and bottle design is kept very simple with clean lines which gives the whole package a feeling of elegance.

Lovely, minimalist bottle that looks great on display with a very soft, soapy scent.Great for the everyday fragrance, that lingers for a good while though I tend to top it up halfway through the day.Great for layering with other scents.
