I have owned a Series 7000 Phillips shaver for over 5 years and was complaining about the loss of shaving quality! I chose to buy a replacement head unit as the battery element of the shaver is still in great condition.WOW - the new head is fantastic - I didn’t realise how bad my ageing shaving head had got!The new head cuts clean and leaves a smooth skin - I should have bought one a few years earlier!

Its a bonus that we get the complete head unit and not just the blades. A good idea, because it means I don't have to clean the head (it's needed cleaning for a while). Only 4 out of 5 because the real question is whether 1. cutting is improved (looks ok on first test) and 2. whether the new head prevents me getting a rash. Is it built for sensitive skin like the original head unit was?

The product was up to Phillips standard and functions as expected. The UPS delivery was poor because I was given a day but no time. After waiting best part of the day I had to go out and missed the delivery and had to collect from a local pick up point the following day. Why can UPS not give an approximate time for delivery like all other companies.

Guys this was a full price blade I paid for yet in three months it's never really felt like a new blade at all almost like a fake I have bought elsewhere from China before now. Sadly I won't buy from this source again . Normally get a year of occasional cutting before the blade become less sharp but after two months is unacceptable.

The replacement blades were encased in black rather than silver as per the original blades so doesn't look quite as good now because it doesn't match the shaver but it has prolonged the life of the shaver as the blades were the only issue with it. For replacement blades, they are quite pricey but nowhere near as much a new shaver.

I did not realise how bad my razor had got until I purchased this replacement head. Despite other comments I found the new head gives an excellent shave. This is despite the blades having a single row of cutters as opposed the double row on the original head. It is also less prone to clogging up and easier to clean

I've tried several times to find replacement blades which performed like the originals, with no success. I wonder if they're made with sub standard materials? This replacement head however makes the razor a pleasure to use again just like it was when brand new.

I've bought several replacement blades for Philip razors over the years and none of them ever feel the same as the original. EXCEPT these ones. These blades are ass good as the original, if not better. I have now book marked them for the future.

working well. I only replaced them as I realised the originals had been on a few years. The new head makes a big difference to shaving quality and time saved. So I am very pleased.I've been using Philips electric razors for 50 years
