Philips Oneblade 2530/30 Review. This shaver comes with 2 Oneblade heads, a head cover, 4 combs for the Oneblade, a 2 pin uk shaver plug, manual and warranty info. The Oneblade charges quiet quickly (in about 2 hours for me) you will need to charge it before first use (mine came completely dead) but you would expect to have to charge it before you use it. You will also need to have a 2 pin adaptor but I’ve never had a shaver that came with one anyway. The one blade works quiet well if you have short facial hair. It cuts quite close almost a close shave. I tried it when it came and I had an out of control beard which took quite a bit of time on the first shave as I have quite thick facial hair, but after the first shave to keep it short it works really well without any problems. It’s nice and comfortable to use. I have used razors before and wasn’t keen on them, so for many years now I’ve been using hair clippers to shave as I’ve tried other beard trimmers/shavers and they were not up to the task of cutting comfortably without ripping some hairs out. This shaver doesn’t do that so that’s a win for me.I use this shaver every day at the moment to keep the sides short, I find it really easy and quick now to get the desired result. The Phillips Oneblade is nicely weighted for the size, quite when in use and has good battery life. It has a textured rubbery coating on the handle for extra comfort in the hand. It seems well built and robust. It’s also water resistant. For the money I think this shaver is good value for money. The blades are expected to last 4 months if you shave twice a week, I use it every day so I will need to buy a blade once a month maybe, but only time will tell maybe they would last a bit longer. If you find my review helpful hit the like button.

Ordered this through Amazon with the free delivery option and it arrived on time so very pleased with the delivery side of thingsopening the box i thought it was a bit cheap for having spent £37 on this razor and it lands in a cheap box, no wee holder for the razor when its being stored, no cleaning brush that you would expect for use with this kind of itemHaving said all that, after the first pass on my facial hair with the Oneblade, it didn't matter about any lack of bits and bobs or crappy looking shipping boxes, I was convertedI have fairly coarse facial hair and would normally use a battery beard trimmer without a comb on it to take the hair off to a level that i was happy with.Even using this it still left the right side of my neck burning and feeling raw. Wet shaving was a nightmare and felt even worse afterwards so for the past six or seven years I've used the beard trimmer, it just was the most pain free option. To give this thing a real test I didn't shave for nine days, thought if it went through this then every few days would be a breeze. The video doesn't do the razor justice. This went through the hair, with no snagging or pulling and no sign of being slowed up with the thick hair and also cut faster than my usual beard trimmer could manage even on fresh batteries. The shave leaves stubble, which is exactly what it's supposed to do, even shorter than a battery trimmer which is amazing for a dry shave. The really big plus with using this to shave is NO PAIN and I do mean no pain. It's the only shave I've had that hasn't hurt, and yes, the shave isn't right down to the woodwork like a normal wet shave, it's not supposed to be, but for me I'm over the moon with the results and wish I had discovered it years ago

I'm not fond of shaving, so previously only shaved on a weekly or fortnightly basis as I hate the razor rash and tended to trim the beard instead.I tried this razor and found that the shaving was really easy and didn't give me the razor rash I got when I have a wet shave. I normally use a beard trimmer without the guard when I wanted a close shave, however the oneblade provided a shave that is as close to a wet shave I have had without any of the soreness.I have used the oneblade to trim my beard with the different guards for varying length of beard which works well (comes with 1mm, 2mm, 3mm and 5mm), however was a little awkward to always shave against the beard on the swirl patches I have.As there is no open blade you can just keep on going over the same area in different directions until you get the completed result. Using the oneblade on the single edge does not provide as good a result as using the blade flat on the face, but it is more than acceptable. When I opened the box I was a little unimpressed that there was only a 2pin razor plug and no adapter supplied in the box - so make sure you purchase an adapter separately if you don't already have one. The razor is a little noisy, however it is very lightweight, easy to use and ideal for those travelling. The additional blade cover is very handy to protect the blade when not in use and for travelling. Inside the box you get 2 blades that are supposed to last 4 months each, so you have 8 months' worth of shaving at no extra cost. As I have only had the razor for a few weeks I cannot advise how long the blades will last, however it is still cutting as well today as it did when I got the device.

I've been shaving since I was 13 and I'm now touching my mid 30s which means if I've averaged a 5 minute shave every day I've spent more than 600 hours shaving, scary when I think about it! What it means is that getting the right blade matters to me, AND good quality is equally important, but if I can save time and effort when shaving then all the better. I want to make it clear that the OneBlade isn't the best shave I've ever had, but it's definitely not bad, and the ease of use means it's up there as one of my preferred shaves overall. This thing comes ready to use out of the box and after a quick charge I had this thing running in no time. The guards snap on and off in seconds and I like that there's only 4 and they're all tin so that the OneBlade takes up hardly any space in my shaving jar which means it's probably also great for people who like travelling. It's also ridiculously quick and easy to charge and they've done a good job with the charger and battery. I'd compare it to the likes of charging a phone, just with a 2 pin connector. As I said, the shave itself isn't the closest I've had and my previous kit, although it's a lot heavier and chunkier, does a more consistent job but the reason I still like the OneBlade is that it's ultra quick and easy to use and so great for day to day shaving, but it does leave more patchiness and "mistakes" than other electric shavers I've used. So overall it's my go-to when time is important and when I'm just heading out the door I can't beat this.

Have used this shaver for well over a week now and can say I am really pleased with it.First off there is the sleek and clean design, doesn't look out of place in the bathroom and has some nice contrasting colours. The design aesthetically is equal to that of the ergonomic design, it fits nicely in the palm of the hand and is a nice size; not to chunky to get a good grip but not to small that its awkward to hold. The OneBlade comes with 2 easy to fit and change blades along with several comb guides to get the right length you want on your beard. Very simple to change and small enough to not take much space in the bathroom or in the suitcase if you're using this on your travels. It got a niceclean cut when needed and it cuts effortlessly without causing any irritation to the skin (which usually i tend to suffer from). 9 times of 10 the blade cuts hairs first time round without any need to constantly go over the same area to get a low cut.Battery life is excellent, approximately 45 minutes use after a 8 hour charge. When you consider how long you actually spend shaving this means you can use the OneBlade several times without constantly running for the charger.Overall i am very pleased with the shaver, both for a clean cut and that of being able to style those harder to reach areas. I would not hesitate to recommend this to friends and family.

Surprised at how small it is. Unexpectedly comfortable on moving across my skin in any direction to hair growth. Found it a little bit awkward to effectively cut moustache hair due to having to have the blade flat on skin and not being able to use the edge very well. The same for getting a clean edge on sideburns. It was a pleasantly close shave in general and quick to cut through hair. Didn't have any use of the blade attachments.Would recommend to anyone that goes a good few days without shaving to then go back to a close shave as it seems to cut through any length hair with ease. Perhaps wouldn't necessarily recommend for someone with very clean lines as the cutting edge is set back fromthe edge of the blade (but that's what makes it comfortable on the skin).Only really used my dedicated electric foil shaver before but often leave it too long to shave, therefore having to use the edging tool on the shaver first. Using OneBlade easily cuts and gets a reasonably close shave, good enough to go to work. The edging tool on my dedicated shaver is better but OneBlade does it all good enough. OneBlade has benefits of being suitable for travel and isn't nearly as expensive as my electric shaver so I would be less worried about it breaking or getting stolen.

I recently got the OneBlade as I had been looking for a shaver that would give me a close shave. Working in a face to face role it requires me to keep a smart appearance. Shaving is quite easy with a wet razor but when I don't get a chance to get to the barber on time my side burns can look very overgrown. So the trimmer aspect really helped me choose this as the device to get. With four different size trimmers it helps that I can choose how long I want to keep my sides. I have used the trimmer for shaves mostly and it gives a really close shave, I have to admit its probably feels closer to my skin than a wet razor. Its easy to clean and to store. Its got a nice weight to it which i feel is a bonus,I myself do dislike it when I get something and it feels like a toy.One of my dislikes about the OneBlade is that the blades are expensive to replace. As I shave daily it means I would have to pay for the replacement blades on a monthly basis. I have only been using it for a month so far and needed to buy new blades.A small tip and its important if you do buy this razor make sure to get a shaver plug as it only comes with a two pin.

There has been a lot of buzz about this product online, pardon the pun, and I was keen to test it for myself. The price is entirely reasonable and the idea of a blade lasting several months was very appealing. I have been using the oneblade for over a month and I am still only a single charge. It's waterproof so you can use it in the shower and I've found it to be an excellent device that well lives up to the hype. It is far more portable, ergonomic and comfortable to shave with than many alternative electric razors. The shave is smooth wet or dry and it is simple to clean. It feels a lot more like a manual razor on the skin meaning you can guide it with the contours of your face easily.Compared to any electric razor I have used before, I have found it a far simpler and smoother shave. It still cannot quite match a manual razor for closeness but more than makes up for this with the speed and convenience. I have since tried the stubble combs which do the job but I feel the sizes are perhaps all too long. Would have preferred a 0.5 for example. Either way I strongly recommend you to try it if your sitting on the fence.

I’ve always had issues with shaving: be it one, two, three, four blades; with or against the grain; wet or dry you name it I tried it. Always with some form of irritation or another. I’d just give up shaving all together but unfortunately my work place doesn’t quite allow for that.I’ve been using the OneBlade every two/three days for the past two weeks and haven’t had any irritation, no bleeding, no rash and no spots. While none of my shaves have been quite a close as they have been in the past, the fact I don’t have to let my skin heal after use means my facial hair is as manageable as it has ever been.It is small, lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. Great for home or travel use.So far I’ve only had to charge it after opening the box so battery life doesn’t seem to be an issue. If you’re looking for the perfect, skin close shave then this isn’t the best product. However, if you are happy with noon-stubble and want a razor that’s easy and painless to use with no irritation then OneBlade is for you!Honestly the best razor I’ve ever used and I’m very glad not to have to deal with razor burn ever again!

A really excellent shaver, especially for someone like me who wants to save time and doesn't mind a little bit of stubble. I don't shave that regularly (maybe once a week), but when I do the OneBlade saves me quite a bit of time. Wet shaving and other electric razors irritate my skin to no end and take more time. This razor just took my facial hair right off with no trouble, and my skin is fine. One thing I would say - if you're looking for a perfectly smooth shave, then this isn't the product for you. I'm not one to grow a full beard so I can't comment on how this works under other circumstances, but with hair of about half a centimetre it takes less than a minute to shave and make sure everything is gone.It should also be noted that this comes with a two-pin plug,so if you don't have access to such a socket you're going to have to buy an adapter (they're very cheap on here). Also comes with a spare blade and a number of guides if you just want to have a trim of a full beard. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a simple quick shave with no fuss.

if you're a lazy/intermittent shaver like me, you'll love this product, it went through my beard like a warm knife through butter without yanking any of the hairs out or burning my face like rotary shaver would do or a wet shave (my beard hair is so think, a razor usually only lasts 2 shaves at most)You won't get the closest shave, but it's sufficient to keep the beard at bay no matter how long you've been growing it!Users note: if you don't get a smooth enough shave once most of the hair is visibly gone, consider just going over again the places where it feels particularly stubbly, there's no 'penalty' to this, i.e. it won't make your face hurt if you go over the same place you've shaved again like other razors. All in all,I'm very impressed, and look forward to see if the longevity of the blades is as good as they claim.

So after the lock down I had a rather scruffy face sometimes hacked at with a rotary shaver and the odd time a razor when I could be bothered to put in a new razorblade. Got the One Blade and popped on the head, left the attachments off it, charged it overnight (doesn't work when plugged in) and in the morning went at myself. It was so fast!, doesn't snag rip or yank on hairs and just glides over your face as you watch the sink fill up with a gentle flurry of my dna. With the rotary I have to squint to bear with it but this thing is on another level. Neck, sides, lip, right under the nose where a razor struggles are all as quick as each other and not a single red mark afterwards. This has to be my best buy gadget so far this year. Would recommend it to everybody who has hair and needs it gone, no matter where it is!

If you get skin irritation from a normal foil or rotary dry shaves, this is the razor for you. Normal razors pull on the hair and cut it, whereas this has guarded clippers that sit on the surface and cut like a lawn mower, with no tugging. What this means is you won't get a perfectly smooth shave, but it will be short enough that people won't see the stubble unless really close. I've been using the razor for several weeks now and have had no irritation, even along the jawline and neck.It comes with several combs which mean if you want to trim the stubble to a certain length, you can clip on a comb and shave perfectly to that length. Comes with several blades that cut along the top and bottom,if you shave infrequently then you likely won't have to buy a new blade for at least the first year of having it.

This is the best shaver I have ever used. I usually have extremely irritated skin after shaving and a few days later shaving usually causes lots of spots (GP believes hair isn't strong enough to break through the skin properly) to appear. The OneBlade, so far, has had none of these issues I believe this may be down to the fact it doesn't pull the hair out but rather just cuts close to the skin this can mean a quick shave leaves the face rough/shadowy but this isn't really an issue if you keep it managed. I do still get the odd spot, however I don't think any shaver can prevent that and it's more of a personal issue. The OneBlade is smooth, strong, and just glides across my face. It's incredibly easy to keep clean, with a quick run under the tap meaning it's clean in seconds.

It is just amazing! The whole experience with the OneBlade was just so smooth and surprisingly good. I always had to resort to more than 2 products to care for my beard and all, and I never expected to only need one to do it all. Now I can comfortably trim my beard to the wanted length as well as keeping the edges really clean with the closed blade-like shave. It saves so much time in the morning when I want a quick trim and so much space in the bag when I have to go away for a few days.I already got my dad one and made my friend buy one as well and they are both really surprise of how efficient the OneBlade is...needless to say whenever someone asks about how I get my beard to look this good that I talk about this product.Made my life so much easier!
