Started with the white starter kit and then I was addicted, before I knew I had spent £200 on blooming lightbulbs! But it’s the best investment yet and will continue to kit out my house with them. Day to day use they are a great led bulb, but what they do best is obviously the smart features. Now I can’t compare them to any other ‘cheaper’ brands but these are awesome. The colours are fantastic and the bulbs are very bright. The alexa connectivity is perfect and opens it up to so much more potential. I come home from work and my lights are on ready to greet me automatically as I pull onto the drive. Time to chill, I tell alexa The relevant phrase and it turns the living room lights to a relaxing colour,

Purchased colour & white E14 Hue during Black Friday sale at a very good discount for a three pack. One of the 3 bulbs suddenly developed a flickering, which was like a strobe light! Quickly replaced but disappointed as we have had 4 white hues for a couple of years now and never a problem. Does leave me feeling less secure about using these on a set time routine as this faulty bulb wouldn’t respond to the Hue App and the only way to stop it was to unplug. Concern is that if using for security it would do the complete opposite!I love Hue products but my faith has had a knock I’m afraid, hence lower stars, particularly at the cost of these colour bulbs even with a big discount. Time will tell with these,

I've been a fan of the Hue system for a few years now, having: replaced the kitchen spots; replaced the living room, hallway and bedroom traditional bulbs; added a Hue Go lamp. After accidentally breaking the shade on my previous bedroom lamp I decided it would be a good time to invest in one of the Hue candle bulbs (because the bedroom one was only a Hue White and Ambient model) to finish the set. Having used it for a week or two and seen the level of light and attractiveness of the multiple colours, I can only say that these bulbs are a fine addition to any home Hue system.

Excellent colours quality and brightness for the size, these aren’t cheap, but there are a lot creatives uses for the E14 bulbs if you have those type of fixtures, Connected to the Philips Hue Hub immediately and works great, I am always impressed by these Hue lights, they work so well and so easy to set up got them connected to my Echo Plus and HomeKit and IFTTT my home is covered with Philips hue bulbs colour and white ambience E27 and 3 E14 colour and 4 E14 white and Ambience 7 lights switch and 7 Hue sensor and Philips hue Go X3 And Philips Hue lightstrips

I have been through many cheaper LED bulbs and have decided to go with branded units now and I have not been disappointed with these.I have always preferred cool white as opposed to warm white LED bulbs and these bulbs allow me to set this how I like.Additionally my daughters love the ability to change the colours and it adds highlights to our living room.Just remember you need a philips hue bridge for these to work.We have also integrated ours with Alexa, so it is now possible to control the bulbs either as groups or individually by voice.

This mostly has the same functionality as the Hue 'Richer Colors' (version 3) bayonet and screw bulbs, however it is not quite as bright, and given the price is often about the same, you may be better off getting one of those with an E14 adaptor (which can be bought cheaply). However, where bulbs are on view, this has a more appealing shape, and for fittings with multiple bulbs, you may not need all that brightness, in which case get this when it's on offer. Otherwise, all the same advantages and drawbacks of the other Hue bulbs.

Great colours, great product. My one complaint is that when I switch of the light using the app,and then try switching it on later via the physical switch, I have to toggle the physical switch on and off sometimes 4 to 6 times before the light comes on. Planning on purchasing more Hue switches per room to eliminate this issue.Would be 5 star but for pricing which I still feel is too high for the colour globes. This restricts one from purchasing readily, except on promotions.

Got the hue bridge and these X2 and connected them all and OMG what an experience it is!! However I am in contact with Philips atm because they or the tv or the hue bridge are faulty because the lights don’t work properly all the time and fade slowly though colour/brightness when connected to the tv instead of being fast like in this vid and I have to do a hard rest on everything and connect them again to get them to work like this. Other than that fantastic!!!

I now have 32 Hue devices in total of which 6 are of this type of bulb. I am a massive fan of Philips Hue products. The E14 candle bulbs are great for use in smaller fittings and I have mine in 2 groups of 3 so are bright enough. I tend to buy the colour bulbs for the added options and do use the white settings too. All in all these are great products and upto now I have had no issues at all. I just wish they were a little cheaper.

Well made, with vivid colour expression while maintaining fidelity across the full range of brightness.Integrates well with Alexa, although on occasion there are some glitches (e.g. Only 2 of three bulbs on my chandelier will change to the requested colour). I'm not sure if this is an issue with the bulbs' firmware, or communication between the Hue system and Alexa, but this happens so infrequently that my concern is limited.

Have loads of Philips hue products around the house, very easy to set up and the app to control them is excellent. The light looks fantastic and there is an endless colour spectrum for you to choose from. The only down side is they are not cheap but it’s a very easy ecosystem to build on over time. I would recommend them for their compatibility with other products and devices like Alexa and Google nest.

A great pair of lamps, this time for our holiday home, hence the timing / programming functions of the Hue app are crucial here. Love the Hue app and its ease of use and how the functionality and features have been improved over time. These two lamps will only display white/yellow tones but hence are a little less expensive than the coloured variant. Will buy more Hue over time.

Expensive. However... when connected with Amazon Echo, its awesome! Voice controlled, lots of colours/brightness levels, settings, and gives a real ambiance to your room. Tempted to buy a second now so I can have 2 different colours at the same time! Would have given 5* if it was a little cheaper.

Where do I start with hue... Superb packaging, excellent build quality, extraordinary light adjustment via the app. Just a few words to describe my love for the hue lighting system. I'm now 7 bulbs deep around the home and always wanting more. These are expensive but they really are worth it!

Does everything it states in the description. No issues setting it up or using it, works fine with Alexa. The price is the only bad bit, for one bulb it is quite pricey but obviously the price is the price and I am satisfied with it. I will wait to buy any more, hoping the price drops ?
