Since buying these spoons I have bought many other brands to compare, and these are by far the best spoons on the market. They are lovely and long (helps if you are feeding your baby from a mug or jar), have a really nice smooth tip that my baby loves, soft enough to not hurt tender gums, he loves to chew/gum it and when I let him it has held up beautifully - no little teeth marks!They are the perfect width - if anyone has used the HIPP Organic ones I find them too wide for my baby boys mouth - these are infinitely better.This is a 2-pack of spoons.I wish they made these in more colours/animals! Originally the pictures on the end of the spoon put me off but they are cuter/less tacky in real life ;)The best feature of all - (apart from being BPA free)

This spoon is a great example of a well thought out weaning spoon. The tip of the spoon is made of flexible material, the shape of the bowl is shallow enough that it holds food without holding too much and also makes it easier to get the food off the spoon and into the baby's mouth. The handle is nicely built-up making it comfortable for adults and baby to hold.It also comes "in pre-stained orange" not the most attractive colour but I'm confident that it was carefully researched to match the colour that most weaning spoons will eventually end up anyway after meals of carrot, butternut squash, sweet potato and other orange foods.All round, a really well considered item that has so far done a brilliant job.

I think that when it comes to weaning, parents just want what's more practical, handy and resistant. You don't want it to get even more complicated that it already is, right? So look no further.These should be named Winning Weaning Spoons, because with them you can only win. They have the perfect size for your baby's little mouth, and yet gentle with his/her's gums, they look cheerful and funny and are truly dishwasher proof. Also they have a long handle so it's practical for us to reach our baby's mouth without making a mess out of it! I have to add, all the Philips Avent line is perfect for me, so far!

I got one of these spoons in the food container kit. I was already using tommee tippee spoons at the time and didn't have a problem with them, however when I used this spoon it was much better. The spoon is smaller so you don't overload it and is really sturdy. My little one sometimes chews on the spoon and it takes the abuse no problem - easy to clean either in the steriliser or dishwasher. I now find that I use it for every feed time, as because it is smaller, it allows my baby to set his own pace when feeding which is much better for him. I am now going to buy the twin pack.

I was not sure what to look for when I needed to buy first weaning spoons for my 6 month old baby boy. I decided on these after reading the reviews. My son is now 10 months and has used a few different ones in the last 4 months. These are definitely the best spoons to start weaning with. They are small and soft but most importantly they are not too deep so you can give small amounts easily and they are a good shape to hold the more runny foods like fruit purée which run off some of the flatter spoons. 4 months on and we still use these every day.

These are absolutely the best spoons I have found for weaning a baby. The tip is lovely and soft for baby's gums, the handle is nice and robust with a lovely grip. I like the long handles which I'm sure would help if using jars. They do balance on the side of larger bowls but not the smaller weaning bowls that I use but that's not a problem, and they clean really well. Plus my son absolutely loves playing with them as toys! Would highly recommend these as first weaning spoons.

This spoon made my baby's feedings much easier!! They are quite long making it easy for me to scoop food from the bowl and small in the front so as to avoid hurting his sensitive little mouth.Because of these features our feedings became pleasant and easy without having the baby complaining all the time and me trying to wipe out all the food which was spread until now (due to my older spoons) all over the place. Good value for money.

Althought I bought them in the shop (delivery wasn't for free) I'd like to add my review. I use them every day for last couple of weeks and find them very useful. They are long enough even when I had to take food out from the blender cup, and they are comfortable to keep in hand. My baby likes to bite them sometimes (usually I have one and he has another one while feeding) and there are no marks yet (he has 2 teeth).

i looked at quite a few spoons before buying these but these seemed the best n im very happy with these.. my lil boys started to realise every time i get a spoon its time for his dinner :) there soft on my boys gums, hes 6 months n these spoons r deep enough for him, there also long enough to get into jar foods. it does say on the packaging that u cant sterilise them.. i dont know why as i have n they are fine.

I do really like these spoons for feeding my son, my only wish is that the spoon could be a little bigger, maybe just because I have a baby who LOVES eating and it doesnt seem to quite satisfy a mouthful for him, but they look nice, no staining like all my other brand spoons, they dishwash well and are very sturdy, handy if you have a baby that likes to mouth the spoon alot and play drums with it etc!

These spoons are great for weaning. My little boy loves them. They are long handled so fits comfortably in your hand, they are easy to put into baby's mouth as they are a great shape, baby can chew on them without damaging it at all and they setrilize perfectly. Although they are meant to be from 6 months onwards i used them on my 4 month old and there were no problems at all. 5* product!

Got these as an extra set after buying the bowl/plate/cutlery set a while before. Lovely spoons to hold, nice soft tip and feel really well made.One slight problem is that the handle is longer than the ones fron the dinner set so don't 'rest' in the little bowls we have but this won't be a problem as soon as your baby has the bigger bowlsWould buy again

Great little weaning spoons, they are just the right size for my baby whose taking his first solids now.They are super soft on his gums but are also very comfortable for me to hold with a nice long handle.They are a bit expensive but are definitely better than some of the others that I bought at the same time, so 4 stars.

I chose this rating because of price affordability, practicality of use and seeing satisfaction on the face of my grandchild for whom I boughtI was amazed at the easy way my grandchild handled it and used it. The happiness on her face was enough to warrant this rating.I strongly recommend this product..

We have ordered these spoons twice now - they are dear, but they have a perfect shape which helps with weaning. The tapering at the end also lets the child start to feed themselves and they are very well designed so our child can grip them. Impressed. Would recommend and buy again.
