This is a fantastic little bottle warmer which we have been using for about a month now. Our daughter likes her bottles a bit warmer than our perfect prep machine does them now that she is older and so we had been using an old Tommee Tippee bottle warmer but unfortunately it had started either over boiling (and the water spitting out) or not heating the bottles properly and so this warmer came at an ideal time for us. It is a little bit more expensive than for example the Tommee Tippee warmer we were using but it does have an extra couple of functions such as the defrost function and separate settings for smaller bottles as opposed to bigger bottles.I will say this however that for a 210ml bottle it takes 5.5 minutes to heat it to the preferred heat setting and the Tommee Tippee warmer also took the same time and so I can't say that this is any faster than the other machine but obviously 5.5 minutes is quite fast to totally heat a bottle whichever way you look at it.A few reviewers have stated that they don't think a bottle warmer is value for money when a jug of hot water or the microwave would give the same effect but a jug of hot water takes absolutely forever to heat the milk and with a microwave you run the risk of hot spots so for us we have always used a bottle warmer in some form or another when not using the perfect prep machine. We use formula milk and so are not really getting the full use out of the warmer which can also be used to defrost frozen breast milk but it is worth pointing out (as the manufacturers aren't allowed to lest they inadvertently go against the governments pro-breast campaign) that the bottle warmers are suitable for both breast and formula milk and the warmer makes no dispute against either so don't be put off by thinking you can only use these if you are breast feeding. The warmer has two bottle settings along with the defrost and baby food heating setting and the one with the picture of the shorter bottle is for bottles up to 180ml and the one with the taller bottle picture is for bottles over 180ml so you simply set the dial to correspond with the amount of milk you are heating and then time how long the warmer is on for the right temperature which you need to do manually as there is no timer function on the warmer. Again I wouldn't let this put you off as there was no timer setting on the Tommee Tippee warmer we had and to get these you generally have to spend a fair bit more than the cost of this warmer. A really good bottle warmer with additional function to defrost so it is perfect for breast feeding but also perfect for bottle feeding too.

Having worked for a long time serving refreshments in the kitchen of a toddler group, I knew that this would be a really welcome addition to our group and would get a lot more use than just for me at home. I wanted to try this out as a safer and easier method for mums to warm their bottles up for their little ones, from little babies with small amounts bottles of expressed breast milk or formula milk to slightly older children who wanted their puree warmed up or a big bottle of milk and the results have been interesting. In a café setting, this is perfect for warming up room temperature milk or purees quite quickly, in a matter of minutes and for refrigerated milk you only have to add a few more minutes to the time.I'm not sure that the guide times are completely accurate - perhaps a little on the optimistic, but you will find the right timings for yourself quite quickly. The dial on the front let's you set whether you are warming a small amount, pureed food, a large bottle or you wish to defrost. There is also a chart with the timings on it, but it is a shame that the settings don't have an automatic cut off for pre-set amounts of milk/food, so with an option for cancelling the timer if it didn't suit you, but without a timer or a cut off, it is hard to relax and stop clock watching! In terms of the defrost setting, a lot of Mums were really interested in the feature, stating that they know that microwaving breast milk is a no-no, but other methods are fiddly, so this would be good. However, many did note that the time to defrost breast milk this way was considerable and that provided they were on top of things, that they would defrost in the fridge overnight. Having said that, many of the Mums admitted that as their minds were not always "on top of things", the option to safely defrost this way would be a blessing, rather than having to gauge the temperature of water to defrost it in a bowl and also avoiding the bottle tipping over (which some had experienced defrosting milk this way)All in all this is a useful bottle and puree warmer and has been proving itself useful and popular in the group.

This is a great little device especially if you are a nursing mother who is expressing, as it can both defrost milk and warm it up too (though not at the same time). Our baby occasionally has the pre-made formula which we have had to warm either on a very low setting on the microwave (making sure it is thoroughly mixed to avoid hot spots) or sat in a giant mug of boiled water. But what I really wanted to use this for was his baby food – I make it in batches then freeze it, defrosting overnight in the fridge (which can be a bit hit and miss as I often find slushie-type bits of veg when I go to make up his feeds for the day)We use the Philips Avent Natural bottles (260ml)and the Philips Avent food storage containers. The bottle warmer has 4 settings – defrost (for both milk and food), milk warming up to 180ml, milk warming for 180ml+, and food warming. For 180-210ml / 6-7oz it takes 4 minutes to warm from room temperature and only an extra 90 seconds to warm from the fridge (assuming 5 degrees C) – milk circulates while it is being warmed although obviously food, being thicker, does not, so you will have to stir the food.I did find the food (warmed from fridge temp) did need a little longer (but only up to 30 seconds more) but the times given in the “Warming Reference Table” are no doubt geared more towards milk than food.I have to say although this is a “nice to have” product it’s not in my opinion an essential item on your baby shopping list – if they could invent one that could also cool down the powder based formula feeds then they would absolutely be onto a winner!

Really pleased with this bottle warmer, which we’re using for breast milk for our newborn and also the odd bottle of cow’s milk for our toddler, and it works well for both. The product arrived safely and intact; the box was very secure. The instruction manual was just pictures rather than written instructions, which I felt would have been helpful. It was a bit confusing at first, but once I figured out how to use the warmer, it was pretty simple. There is a defrost setting as well as a heating setting and a gauge for how long to heat the bottle, depending on how many ounces there are inside. We have tried this with pouches of expressed breast milk and also our regular bottles and both have worked! You place the bottle or pouch inside the warmer, pour water in to surround the bottle and select the setting you require. Then just press the button to start. The button lights up to confirm it is heating.Unfortunately, even though you select a setting (time/oz), the warmer doesn’t have any sound or light to indicate that that amount of time has passed. However, it does continue to keep the milk at that desired temperature for up to an hour.I would definitely recommend this product, as it’s a safer alternative to microwaving and more accurate than heating with boiled water. Great value for money in the long run. Thanks for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

This bottle warmer is an absolute godsend for warming up expressed breast milk. It takes between three and five minutes to warm a bottle of chilled breast milk, depending on the size. It brings the milk to a safe temperature, and removes the risks of the hot spots that can happen when using the microwave. The warmer can also be used on a defrost setting, which is handy if you have frozen your milk into portions.Interestingly, the bottle warmer can actually be used to warm your baby's food portions up to a safe temperature. This is great if you have taken the time to make a batch of food for your baby on the previous night. The package contains a guide to help you set the warmer to the correct setting for your needs, and is very easy to use.We have the Avent bottles, and they fit perfectly inside the warmer, but I cannot see why other well known bottle brands wouldn't also fit. The overall product size is not too large, but spacious enough for what is needed. The bottle warmer can be used to warm pre-made formula, but I haven't been able to test this. I presume it is the same as warming up chilled breast milk, taking between three and five minutes depending on volume of milk.Overall, this is an excellent piece of equipment, which is very portable. It is great for safely warming your baby's feeds, without creating any dangerous hot spots.

Many nursing mothers express milk and freeze or refrigerate it for later use (by other half, grandparents, godparents, etc) and these need to be warmed before use.Prior to trying this our way of warming was a pan of water.Almost all of my "baby kit" is Philips Avent so I already Avent baby bottles, but you can buy spares (I have on previous occasions as I found it safer to store extra milk in the bottles rather than in the freezer bags which I have found will either leak or split - either way it is a messy business having to defrost the freezer to clean up split frozen milk.I don't like freezing the milk, but that's my problem and needs must, as they say.It is often a good idea to have some spare milk in the freezer as a standby or if you aren't expressing a lot and need spare for when you will be unavailable to feed the baby. On the other hand if your flow is heavier then you can always store the extra in the fridge and throw it away at the end of the day replacing it with "fresh" (once you've sterilised the bottles again). The warmer is excellent and very quick, just a couple of minutes (between 3 and 5 minutes) much quicker and easier than the old pan. Of course you must still check that the milk is a safe (not too hot) to use.I wish I'd have tried one of these earlier it would have saved me so much time.

The instructions were not great and I had to look online for better ones. It wasn't initially clear that it was not a dry heater. The instructions did say it but we're so copious it got hidden and I think they should just have stated in plain sentences. Step one put your bottle or food jar in device, choose setting volume of milk or food heating or defrost setting. Fill chamber with water. Press on. Observe it is flashing. Check each few minutes is it still flashing. If static check temperature of milk or food yourself to ensure not too hot before feeding baby/child.Empty chamber of water. Periodically clean with a half and half white vinegar water solution.Other then that I found the chamber water got to 54 degree celsius and the water to up to 42 degrees. So you need to check it yourself or leave it to settle to the 37 to 39 degrees Celsius that it will do in about 5 yo ten minutes.I'm dropping it to four stars as I don't think it should have gone higher than 37 and most or all parents would rather it took longer or just live with it being a bit cooler then risking it being too hot. And I'd rather not had to Mick about filling chamber with water and emptying and cleaning it. But it is swift and aside from that low hassle. Much better than a microwave or boiling a kettle etc. So a four is deserved.

I like bottle warmers for the simple reason they take all the guess work out of warming a bottle at 3am without worrying if it’s too hot or too cold and it taking an age to get right using a jug and hot water. The bottle system I currently use is Avent and I had been using a bottle warmer I inherited which is now knocking on 6 odd years old. This latest model looks sleeker and more refined and wouldn’t look out of place in a kitchen or nursery. It’s quite compact so doesn’t get in the way.Controls are very straightforward to operate and there’s a handy guide to give you a rough idea of times etc by volume. In use I found that times varied a little but not wildly so.It appeared to heat evenly to me and as mentioned removes the guesswork. That said, there’s nothing wrong with a jug and hot water within reason but you have to keep an eye more on that rather than being able to walk away like you can with the heater. You can also use the Avent food storage pots in this so it’s handy for warming baby food too.I really like this bottle/food warmer. It looks great and works really well, especially if like me you are part of the avent ecosystem for your lo

First all of I don’t have a baby so please no mummy shaming, this is for picture purposes only. I actually got this bottle warmer as my massage teacher told me it was a great way to warm massage oil easily. (Genius) However, for the purpose of this review I did heat up some milk and it worked well.Reading the instructions is easy. Set up, add water, turn on and select how much liquid you want to heat and it does it all for you. You can use it with plastic or glass (milk or baby food). Great device. Now for my reason for getting this. It is a way to warm massage oil with out scalding your client. You take your oil and place it in the water and select how much liquid you have and in minutes it is lukewarm. When you have taken the oil and applied it to a client, put back to keep the oil warm until needed. It’s easy to clean/descale. Just use water and white vinegar and it’s done. The water is only lukewarm to so won’t scald yourself when emptying I really like this and if I had a baby I would purchase another for that use, as it’s compact and looks good in your kitchen. 4*

Comes well presented in a cardboard box, you can see exactly what you're getting. You get the bottle warmer and an instruction leaflet. The warmer is white in colour and looks smooth and sleek in design. It has a large opening so can fit other bottles not just advent bottles. Weve been using mam bottles in there and they fit perfectly. It's easy to use, add water to the holder, turn the dial and select to the milk volume you have in the bottle and push the bottle in. Theres a light progress indicator showing you when the milk is ready. It warms to the ideal temperature and keeps it there up to 60 minutes. The milks warmed evenly and quickly preventing any hot spots happening. You can also use this to warm baby food and defrost milk/baby food and then warm it to temperature. More sturdy than placing a bottle in a jug of hot water, youre less likely to accidentally knock it over. Safer than a microwave, not over heating or causing hot spots. Easy to clean. Compact size, doesnt take up loads of worktop space and easy to take away with you.

This product is straight forward to use and it does a good job of warming up the milk, however, you have to learn to know how long it takes to warm up milk that’s refrigerated etc as when we first began using it we would have to guess as there is no feature to tell you it is ready but after using it for a while you get to know how long you need. We use the thin milk containers to warm up the milk as it is quicker than using the bottle which is made of a thicker plastic. I feel this could’ve been an excellent product had it had a feature to tell you when it is ready and if it had a mode to switch off by itself after a while.Overall it’s a decent gadget that helps to speed end up things but you have to be on top of things as well I.e prepare milk just before feeding time then you can pop the milk In the warmer and tada it is room temp when baby wakes

Great product if you are breast feeding. You can express your milk and keep it in the fridge and anyone can warm the milk up safely, including your husband in the middle of the night, he cant ever complain that he cant be bothered to boil water etc.Simple to use and effective, 3-5 minutes warm up time for milk which isnt so bad, if you have a baby that is a regular night feeder and will wake at specific times you can also buy a plug in 24 hr timer to ensure it comes on at say 3am so by the time you get down with the baby its pretty much done.I dont like the fact there isnt a timer on it already but i can live without it, most people have stopwatches on their phones so its not an issue.SImple, effective and easy to use, however its a tad on the high side price wise, i think 20 quid is a bit more reasonable.

This is very much needed for night feeds! It's small enough to keep next to the bed and easy to wipe clean if needed. This bottle warmer by Philips Avent heats 150ml milk withing 3 minutes. It also has a defrost setting and can heat baby food too. This is really handy to have when travelling too if you're not near a kettle. I was always going downstairs at night to heat bottles but I'm so glad I've now got this as it saves a lot of time and doesn't disturb baby too much. I wish I tried one sooner. Fits bottles well and also heats milk evenly. It also has a keep warm setting that keeps milk at the correct temperature for 60 minutes and then automatically shuts off so you don't need to worry if you accidently forget to turn it off.Would recommended.

We love this baby bottle warmer from Philips. It’s very handy especially for night time bottles when you do not want to operate a microwave. It heats the bottles evenly without any hotspots.I however noticed that the manual is a bit misguiding and that it took me 4-5 minutes to understand and 1-2 trials to get the milk at the right temperature for my little one. It might be due to the fact that I was heating up milk from the fridge. There is also a defrost setting to use.The best part of the warmer is that it can warm up baby food jars too so ideal for when out and about and the baby needs warm food or feed. It's a sturdy build and compact to take it anywhere with you. With these I can happily recommend this to other parents.

Normally I would place a higher price tag on a Philips product but I guess some things are reasonable and some of course are much more efficient and justify a larger price tag. This is plain and simply a warmer for baby milk. Philips normally make good tooth brush products and electrics for household and this is another decent addition to the line up of what they have already.I feel as though some people might expect too much from this like an alarm, beeps and many other things but everyone wants a slightly different temperature as everyone like it a bit different but I will say that this beats guessing in a microwave.I have nothing bad to say about this and also have only good stuff to say.I approve
