I have two children, one 6 year old and one 11 week old. With my first born i used Avent from the start, and was always happy with the brand, no problems whatsoever. With my new baby when i was pregnant i brought a load of Tommee Tippee stuff, i dont really know why -just because it was in EVERY single store and i thought i'd try it, more out of convenience and curiosity. Anyway i ended up spending alot of money on all the tommee tippee bits and bobs as its nice to match, and wow did i regret that! Within 2 weeks they were all in the bin and i went straight back to the Avent brand... and the changes were immediate. Baby fed better, burped better, slept better, the lot, and the equipment felt hella better quality.You just can't beat it its by far the best brand and i cannot reccomend it enough! Very sturdy equipment, trustworthy, does prevent colic, baby obviously prefers it, even the bottles are nicer to hold.... complete opposite to tommee tippee in my opinion. I would definately tell any parent that Avent is the one, stick with the old famous brand, its old and famous for a reason. Fully recommend. As for this size teat, well its pretty simple stuff just as good quality as the previous sized teats and there for when its time to move up a size.

Just wanted to let other parents know that although these teats state that they are for babies 3+ months i have been using these teats on my sons bottles since he was 8 weeks old. It was suggested to me that he may heve been ready for these teats as he was VERY slow at taking his bottle (after 30 mins of constant suckling he still wasn't finished) and would somethimes start crying halfway through a bottle (i now believe it was because he wasn't getting his milk fast enough). I bought these teats, tried him on them and the first time we used them he took his bottle within 13 minutes - and that was also allowing for a burping half way through!!I would recommend to anyone experiencing similar problems to give their baby a whirl on the next size up teats. My son barely dribbled any milk (no more than on previous size teats) and was a happier baby. PS He has also been on the size 4 teats since he was 4 months old without any problems.

I've had 2 children and wouldn't have used anything other than this brand for feeding my babies. I trust this brand 100% and would definately recommend it to anyone. Colic is a real concern for parents and i've never had a problem, i believe it's because i used a trusted brand. The person who gave them 1 star and said the teats/bottles leak are screwing the tops to the bottles too tightly!... I know because i used to have exactly the same problem,(until a friend of mine pointed out what was happening).Don't be put off by other peoples mistakes and harsh judgements!

I switched back to Philips Avent bottles after my sons colic got better. He is on Gaviscon and Aptamil comfort milk so I was worried about having to fiddle about with teats to find the right one again as the milk and gaviscon are thick. We bought these as hes just turned 3 months and bingo! Milk comes out perfect for him. We don't have any leaks with these bottles at all aswell. I would recommend these to anyone. I would say that don't use from birth. My son did and he got severe colic. We switched to Dr. Browns bottles which helped straight away.

These aren't much cheaper than in the shops but any saving is a saving when you have kids.They're from 3 months and our son has just turned 3 months (14 weeks). We use these for a couple of the feeds but not all as while he is getting to the end of the size 2 teats, I think these are just a little bit big for him at this stage - some of his milk overspills which he no lnger does on the size 2 teats.In any case, these will be a necessity in the near future so why not get the genuine Avent product for a great price.

We've been using Avent bottles since our twins were born, the girls are now 5 months and are still comfortably using size 2 teats. We did try to switch to medium flow teats but both girls are greedy & get very messy in the process.However when we used the Aptamil Comfort milk and Hungry milk, the medium flow teat helped offset the thickness of the formula. Additionally when we've dream fed the babies, they've fed successfully with no messiness on the medium flow teats, unlike when they're awake!

We bought these to use on our Avent bottle bottles as our LOs were 4m old. The teats are absolutely but our kids are so used to the number 2 that they find the flow to fast and keep choking.Nevertheless, like other Phillips teats, these are good quality and after washing them and putting them in the sterilizer multiple times a day, they are still absolutely fine.Personally, I much more prefer these than the Tommee Tippee ones as they really do help with colics. I 100% recommend these.

Nice and soft, comfortable for newborns.It needs to be sterilised the first time, before the first use, in boiling water for 5 minutes or using sterilising tablets instead or other forms of sterilisation.The sterilisation does not affect the material. It remains intact.My son drinks comfortably from it. Nothing to complain about.Excellent price.Avent is always my first choice, highly recommended.

Had bought avent 9 years ago with youngest child, now have baby and would still recommend avent products, in my opinion they are still the best shape for fitting in universal bottle warmers and steamers, tried other makes of bottles and teats due to reviews recommending others but have reverted back to the good old avent.

These are good, strong teats which have never torn like some other brands I've purchased. Not a lot to say about them, other than I feel Amazon should be clearer on what number is associated with medium flow, slow flow etc... as I wasn't 100% sure I was buying the correct item. I purchased medium flow which are size 3.

Bought these for my twins at 6 months (they were only 5lbs so a bit delayed in their feeding)Holes big enough to satisfy 2 very hungry growing babies at 7 months - hopefully will continue until get them weaned on sippy cups.Only negative the price - had to buy 12 for all the bottles for home & out we have.......!

Bought these in readiness for when my baby reached 3 months. Tried when he was around 10 weeks and he couldn't cope but by 11 weeks he was fine so sometimes you can use them before your baby is 3 months old - especially if they have been solely bottle fed for a while. Baby happy at faster feed rate :-)

These teats are very good. I like philips avent products. Our daughter is just 3 months old. It seems the flow is still too fast for her at the moment. She does not like it much. She still prefers the slow flow ones. I will try fast flow next month to see how it goes.

I love Avent. My daughter didn't take to Tommee Tippee soothers when she was 2-3months + my friend reccommed to me to try Avent and my daughter instantly started taking to it. Pleased with this will defo buy Avent again for my next child.

Love avent. Used avent bottles with my son 3 years ago so using again with my newborn daughter. Wouldn't use any other. These are a touch cheaper than the shops that's why I chose these and the FREE postage is brilliant. Thank you Amazon
