Does what it's supposed to do. Weighs next to nothing, so for the most part it just hangs out on the back of my harness with a BD oval. Since I bought it to have available should I ever need a pulley in a rescue system, I'm glad to say I have not yet used it for real, but have set up a 3-1 with it to test and it worked as expected.Make sure you keep an eye on it though, the rope can slip out. It won't really damage the system (in a proper 3:1 there should be some sort of progress capture actually holding the load) but having to constantly put the rope back in the pulley could be a time waster

It is better to use an oval carabiner (as in the instructions). It so happened that I had to use the pulley pulley 3: 3 for this purpose through this roller (it was the first from the pulling ones, the locking device was microtracking). At the same time, the carbine was not used as an oval (it was not stupid). So the video held itself up: when the rope pulled out of it due to the wrong carbine, it bent its edge. That is, this plastic is not fragile, but plastic - rather, it will not crack, but will flatten into a pancake. Great thing

We use it for a lifting aid in partner rescue, and it works well. It could be a little wider to make it easier to keep rope on it. You need to be careful of which oval carabiner you use. It can be tough to work this pulley past the turns and gate opening. Works for us, and you can't beat the price.

Lightweight and compact ... great to have in an emergency pack. The rope tends to slide off the pulley if its a thicker diameter rope. I used a 6mm cord to rig up a system and it worked great, but not so great with anything above 10mm.

A robust bit of kit. One did not buy it in order to indulge in anti social activities like mountaineering. However, one can imagine that this would assist in that sort of madness.
