Persols are gorgeous glasses, no doubt about it. If you want to look stylish and sophisticated in a Euro sort of way, the easiest thing to do is go get yourself some Persol shades. They are well built and impressive looking without being overtly flashy. These are the real deal and I was super excited to receive them, but ultimately ended up returning them for two reasons:1) They were simply too big. I have a pretty big head (it's hard for me to find a hat that fits!) and these were still too large for me. They constantly kept sliding down my nose. I think there might be a more narrow version of the 3048s which might fit better - I don't have the model number or width in front of me at the moment but if you're considering these you might want to investigate.2)

Beautiful piano gloss black frames with crystal green lenses. Only complaint is that there was not a polarized option for this frame color (the matte black frame has polarized lenses). Still, the standard crystal green lenses are pretty nice in their own right.As a word of caution, these frames from Potato Eyewear looked and felt brand new out of the box, but there's another Amazon fullfilled seller who I ordered a pair of the matte frames from, and the glasses looked like poorly handled floor models. I returned them.Also, please note - Persols do not by default come with polarized lenses like some other premium sunglass brands. If your heart is set on polarized lenses,

Having always stuck to Raybans these were a departure for me but I wanted a pair of Polarized glasses and did the usual interweb trawl and came across this Italian company. They are far more understated than a pair of Oakleys or Wayfarers, you would pass unnoticed unless someone knew what they were looking at. I like that.Quality wise these are a hand made product and you can tell, you can see where the bridges were belt sanded and they are just something different from any other glasses I have ever owned or worn. Very comfortable due to the Meflecto hinges in the arms (which you only get with Persol) and the optics are crystal clear.

I was so happy with a pair of Persol PO 2803S Sunglasses that I recently purchased that I also purchased a pair of Persol PO3048 frames. I had clear prescription lenses put in my pair of Persol PO3048 frames and could not be happier. They look and fit great. These frames are offered by a wide range of sellers via Amazon but I purchased my frames via Amazon from Sunglass Express, who are an authorized dealer. Although some reviewers have complained that they thought they had received what they considered to be bogus knock off Persol frames, from whatever seller they had made the buy from, the frames that I received from Sunglass Express via Amazon were absolutely genuine Persol product with Persol case and so forth.

1) these are 100% genuine. An earlier review posted a picture of the hinge on the pair they received and it was not a “persol hinge” (see pic attached). I guess that vendor was run off because the pair I received is legit. And comes with all accessories and accoutrements.2) if you’re looking for a pair of “wayfarer style” glasses with just a little more flair, these are right on the money.3) BUT... they’re not polarized. I’m still giving 5 stars because the value is off the charts. As with many amazon products, there are multiple styles sold under the same title page: different frame colors/sizes. My “Havana/crystal green lens” are not polarized.

Fantastic glasses. Frames were slightly bent upon arrival. They are authentic. Includes Persol box, paperwork, authenticating serial number, and carry case with Persol etched lens wipe. Can't argue with the price for the quality. My suggestion is to take them to a Lenscrafters, or equivalent, and have them fitted to you head. I had them readjusted and leveled and now they are perfect. Initially, the frames were crooked. Also, they not fold down evenly. After having them adjusted, which was an easy and FREE process, they fit very well.

Persol is mgt absolute favorite glasses company. The quality of these hand made Italian glasses cannot be beat. They exude good taste. The crystal glass lenses are always 100% excellent in clarity & weight.I always have at least one black & one brown pair sunglasses and I use Persol optical frames for my Rx reading glasses as well - I have others too but Persol is always my favorite. I also have Rayban for sports, but for style, quality, comfort, fashion Persol is my #1 choice. I've been wearing Persol since I was a teenager!

I currently own 6 pairs of Persols. I have worn these since Prep School. They are the ONLY Luxottica frame that is not produced in their massive plant and stamped with a license. The frames and lenses are made at the original location in Italy. Comfort & Classic Style. Please 'Google' the name and visit their website.Garbo, Marcelo Mastroianni , Vadim, Denevue , Fonda, Steve McQueen,Sean Connery, Daniel Craig, ad infinitum . What more of an endorsement does one need...

Awesome fit. 55 is nice size for my smaller face. I wear 52 in Rayban 2132. Crystal clear greenish lens is beautiful and elegant. Used a hair blow dryer to adjust the sides a bit. Hold heat on place 10 second and gently bend and hold (see YouTube) for a custom perfect fit. Great price by Amazon. Came with case and letter by the seller with details of purchase. Did not need polarized either which is why I like these too.

these were a gift from my boyfriend who found a pair when we were browsing at Sunglass hut. he wouldn't spend the $$ on himself so I found these and got them for V day for him. already knew he loved them and found them on here for even better price than the "sale" at the sunglass hut. the matte are much nicer than the shiny frames and they are a very good quality mans sunglass choice.

Just got these glasses in the mail and they're great! They fit well and the vision clarity is the best I've seen. 120 bucks is a steal for these.Some users noted that these are not polarized, which is true, however I prefer non polarized. With polarized glasses its hard to see your phone or other screens. Also I can confirm that they're authentic. (I ordered through Designer Optics)

Those glasses are actually pretty good. Quality, price and value deserve the 5-Star hands down. If you are like me, loosing a pair every other day, you should be seriously looking at them.The frame is of excellent quality for the price. The lenses have very little to no aberation. Zero Dioptric accuracy is unquestionable, and wear comfort is without a blemish.Highly rdcommended.

These glasses have great lenses and provide a very business-professional style. In my opinion, it's a more sophisticated version of the popular RayBan Wayfarer. Caution people w/ narrow heads as they are just a tad wide-set initially (though any store can fix this easily). Great purchase from casually driving to dressing up in suit!

I’ve owned several Persol sunglasses over the years. I was skeptical about these when I saw the price, but after trying them out, I believe they’re the genuine deal. These are a bit lighter weight than some other frames I’ve owned, but quality, finish, and overall aesthetic are great. Lenses aren’t polarized, but still excellent.

They're solid frames and I actually love the weight of them. That being said, be careful you don't drop them into water - they sink like a rock. If you don't have much of a bridge on your nose, the combined weight and shape of them cause a bit of a slip down the nose. Otherwise, the polarization is awesome. No complaints!
