These gel pens are far nicer than I was expecting - each one shows up as two different colours, depending on whether you’re writing on light or dark paper, and depending on what angle you look at the writing. The three colours are orange (which shows yellow on dark paper), blue (metallic green on dark paper) and purple (blue on dark paper). They are very thin pens, but have quite a large 1.0 nib - my only criticism is that I would have liked a smaller nib like a 0.7, but that’s just a personal preference. No matter what sort of paper you write on, the results look really impressive and pretty, perfect for making greetings cards look that extra bit special! These are dual coloured gel pens, with the ink having an easy flow. Tipped to catch the light the orange/brown changes to gold/yellow, the blue to shimmering turquoise and the violet to a bluer shade.The width of a line is a bit more than my preference - 1 mm, as opposed to the 0.5 - 0.7 I normally use. The pens themselves are very slim, and the cap, which click-closes well can also be used on the other end of the pen to give a good counterweight, as you write, if that suits your writing preference.I found the slim pen plus that cap weight really suited my writing. Pentel have a range of 8 pens in this shimmering metallic range, and I was pleased with this 3 of the 8 bundle

A pack of three Pentel Hybrid Dual Metallic Gel Pens in vivid colours; Violet, Orange and Blue. The shade, hue, of the ink changes once it has dried and differs on different types of paper/card. They are lovely pens and the ink runs smoothly out of the nib with rarely a blot but; be really careful not to rub your hand over the ink because it really smudges until completely dry. The ink also bleeds through the paper so watch out if you're using white or pastel colours. Great for a bright, shiny, decorative finish but they need a delicate touch.

These pens are truly things of beauty from every possible angle:1) They are SMOOTH, so smooth, to write with2) The INK omg the ink - 'dual metallic' is such an amazing look/concept, for example one of the pens: purple base ink, with a glittering blue top layer; one is orange topped with iridescent gold, and the last is midnight topped with glittering turquoise.Seriously, these pens. I want them so badly even though they are already mine. I love pens, so laugh at me.

In this pack you get 3 gel pens.The colours are lovely and look vibrant on both light and dark paper.The glitter effect through the ink is a really nice touch.The only negative I have in regards to these pens is the ink is quite thick coming out and takes a long time to dry on the page. This means that if you touch the ink in any way before it has dried it will smudge .

These are lovely pens that write well and work without an issue. The colours are unusual, so this is a positive, although finding the time I can use them may be an issue! I don't see the dual colour in one of the pens as I find it hard to differentiate the different colours in the ink. Shiny pens that I'm sure crafters or children will enjoy!

Absolutely beautiful results from these pens, which leave an ink in one shade and a shimmer in a complimentary shade. With a 1mm nib the result is bold and the shimmer effect easy to see. Perhaps a little too thick for everyday writing but lovely for headings or greetings cards.The ink remains wet to touch for some time so do take care.

This set of pens are a nice set of metallic colours to add a bit of zing to your writing. The ink flows smoothly and the colours are bright.
