This perfume was inspired by the royal ballet from the smells of the shoes and the studio to the bouquets given to dancers after performance and once it dries down it is a very special and lingering scent that is perceptible for days after.The biggest issue with this scent is the whack in the face it gives you on first spray of spicy iris which was a huge NO! But give this scent a chance, or 5 minutes before you have contact with others as once that first note clears something special happens.Wafts of powdery musky florals, soapy jasmine and warm vanilla, leather and bergamot spark in the mind memories of Chanel no 5 but with a sweeter sensuous tone,

This is a Beautiful perfume and would make a fantastic present for that special lady, as it is very original and individualistic.The bottle is wonderfully packaged, looks classy and very expensive.Applying it the initial hit (top note) is Very Irisy, very floral, with a slight hint of Jasmine and is quite powerful - it needs to be given a chance as it soon settles down to a breathtakingly wonderful scent - very warm, sensuous and classy, an evening scent, one with a hint of powder with the Iris and jasmine, delicate nuances of bergamot oil, subtle and beautiful, heart notes giving a memory of Balls, Ballet, silk, magical nights, class and sensual beauty.The smell lingers,

It is said that this scent was inspired by the Royal Ballet. Once you spray you can see exactly what they had in mind.Imagine yourself at the front row. The smell of the oak floor, then the waft of scent as the dancers float on. Then as the show begins, the aroma of leather from the ballerina's shoes, then the smell of clean warm skin.. This scent is elegance bottled.The first hit is of bergamot - sharp and uplifting and awakening the senses, then the soft powdery sensual smell of vanilla and leather. It reminds me of the scent of skin in a close embrace. It's delightful - and for me this is a definite romantic sexy elegant evening scent.

This is a very feminine eau de parfum. If you like floral scents, this is possibly one of the most gorgeous and sensual you will ever smell. At first, you could be forgiven for thinking that this fragrance was a little over-powering because initially, the top notes seem a little strong. However, within minutes, when the base notes settle, you realise what a very special eau de parfum this is.The scent of Iris Prima is a beautiful blend of vanilla, bergamot and jasmine. It’s a very seductive and elegant fragrance that can – and should – be worn both day and night.

This is an enduringly popular fragrance, inspired by the English National Ballet. Think leathery ballet shoes, moist skin, treading the boards. Imagine Swan Lake with the exquisite high notes of iris, vanilla, carrot.It is faintly melancholic, with a rueful air of times gone by. Subtle and floral.My rating is 6.5 out of 10.

A really beautiful fragrance, mainly a soft floral scent, but with subtle leather undertones. The scent is long-lasting (I haven't needed to top up during the day), and a nu7mber of people have asked me what perfume I was wearing. Definitely one I would recommend.

I found this perfume distinctly unpleasant at first...more Dying Swan than Magic Flute. However, as the vanilla came through it settled to a powdery warmth which was very sensuous. This warmth lasted for several hours and felt highly relaxing. A real Nutcracker.

This perfume is lovely. It has a beautiful scent. Very different from what I normally wear but once I smelt it I have been bowled over.Everything else pales into insignificance.
