The material is thinner than expected, but WAY warmer as well. Wore it with a t-shirt and long sleeve shirt underneath in 29 degree weather and by the first mile I was already hot. By the end of my run I had it mostly unzipped and I was still quite warm. Can't wait to try it in colder weather.The sleeves are brilliant, long with a double sleeve near the hand so that you can roll back the outer shell some to expose your wrist if you wear a running watch. The hood is very comfortable and you don't even notice it when it isn't being worn. The cut is also great, as it isn't very form-fitting in the chest and so it doesn't pull your shirts tight against your body and chafe. The water resistance is also a huge plus,

Very useful coat for me. I use it for walking and biking, during fall and winter.
