Purchased this for an awards ceremony. We ordered the real-world size i.e. size 36" for a 36" chest. The fit is okay, albeit quite loose over the shoulders, by that I mean that the backside fabric seems to be too generous up towards the shoulders. The fit is slightly big overall but only slightly so. It is not a tailored cut. I normally use slim fit, this is definitely a regular fit so if you are not as slim over the stomach then this will work out. The sheen is quite nice and it is an attractive pattern, not too obnoxious, not BORING and definitely not the regular plain. Wore it under the tuxedo top the whole evening so nobody noticed that the cut wasn't perfectly tailored.

I heeded the advice of some of the buyers with this waistcoat and after measuring my chest - a 42" - I plumoped for a 46, bearing in mind that I didn't want it too tight and would be worn with a shirt and possibly a t-shirt in colder weather. Pleased I did as the fit is spot on!The colours chosen - purple/black - really is effective; the pattern is very much in the Victorian/Edwardian style and does have an attractive sheen. The buttons are of the same design, but I'll be replacing them with silver finish Celtic pattern ones.Overall, very pleased with the waistcoat and the speedy service; will be possibly buying another in due course . . . . budget permitting!,

My wastecoat arrived from DQT in ultra-fast time - ordered in the morning and arrived the following morning (to Northern Ireland).After reading some other reviews I decided to go for a larger size than usual, and I'm glad I did. The 5XL I ordered is actually slightly smaller than another wastecoat I have which is 2XL.The material of the wastecoat has a patterned sheen to it, which seems to be of reasonable quality and in-line with the price bracket.Whilst the wastecoat fits well, it seems just a little rigid - am hoping it will soften over time with some wear.Generally a good first buying experience DQT - reasonably priced, and great delivery.NIce wastecoat.

With a wedding coming up i decided to buy this waistcoat to go with my suit, I am very happy with my purchase as i was a bit apprehensive to be honest. The waistcoat came within 2 days and looks even better than the picture. It is very smart looking and i have been complimented by all my family members when i tried it on with the suit. I have to say i am a size 42" chest and i ordered a size 46" and it was a little bit loose on me but all i had to do was tighten the buckle at the back to make it fit comfortably.Would i recommend this to a friend? definitely yes, infact i have now ordered 3 royal blue ties for myself and my 2 lads.

DQT have really good and cool products but the waistcoat was simply too small - a real shame as it was a very good price - but I have given them four stars as their after sales service was excellent - it would have been five stars if the waist coat had fitted - the products were returned and I received a full refund - no quibbles - which I know is what you would expect but I think it's important that they handled it well

I purchased this to replace a waistcoat lost after being entrusted to the safekeeping a friend along with my rugby club tie.It is moderately large but I prefer it that way as it gives room to feast and did order it that way.Easy to clean and looks the part (even if my original was silk), The watch pockets come sealed but open up for a fob watch easilyValue for money and very useful (I have one in red too)

Good value and although it comes up on the smaller side, I ordered the largest, it will do the job fine.Silky smooth, stiffer front to keep it looking good, sewn up pockets can be released for the Pocket Watch.Has a swirly pattern woven in on the front.Used as a Stewards uniform on a Steam Train, mated with a bow tie as ties are a right pain when working!

This is good quality and great value for money. I ordered a couple of sizes too big after reading other peoples reviews and this meant it was a good fit when it arrived. It arrived quickly too. The only criticism I have is that the pockets were very difficult to unstitch and it was tricky to do this without damaging the fabric. I managed it eventually!

The waistcoat arrived exactly as promised. I took the advice of others who had made a similar purchase and with that information I ordered the next size up. As a result, it fits me in comfort. I would recommend all other purchasers to take notice and act accordingly. This advice will give satisfaction.

I am very pleased with this even though right now it is a little tight, however, that is no fault of the garment, XL seems to mean different sizes to different makers, and the quality, for a meagre price is outstanding, I'll be buying the silver version at some stage...

This was bought as a present for a family member, he was very happy with it, having looked on the high street unable to find. Fitted him just right. I had been told a size in M L etc, and the conversin given to show their sizes was spot on. Also delivery as expected

I loved this waistcoat so was disappointed that it was just a bit to tight, but that could be that my belly is a bit to big, and I think the next size up would have been to big. But great service from DQT who issued me with a refund.

I used this at my wedding. It fitted perfectly. Nice quality. Everyone commented about how nice the waistcoat was. It is brilliant white which is what i wanted. Buttons still attached. Can't wait for an excuse to wear it again.

Bought for son's 15th birthday. He loved it and looked very smart indeed. Pattern was noticeable without being too fussy or flambouyant. Good value for money and very fast delivery. Great choice available to choose from too.

Okay so I got the size wrong but managed to adjust it so that I could use it. It arrived on the 30th and is well worth the money. In fact I'm going to buy a bigger one and probably in more than one shade.
