For some time I'd seen the great reviews about Pass The Bomb and planned to purchase it in time for Christmas. However, last month we had a 'Christmas in July' evening with a full Christmas dinner!Just happened to see this on Amazon and decided it would be perfect for after dinner! It made the evening! The game itself is simple enough. Set the timer, give an answer and then pass to the next person before the 'burp' goes off. I had misgivings about the burp sound but trust me it's hardly noticeable, especially if there's music in the background. As the pud is passed it plays a sleighbell sound so you soon know when the time has run out.The questions fall into four categories -THINGS - The player must give an example of the 'thing'on the card. The next player has to give an answer with the next letter of the alphabet.WORDS - Players must give the name of a song or book that contains the word on the card.CONNECTIONS - Players must give the name of an actor, character or association with the film on the card.CLUES - A list of items are printed on the card and players must describe them to their team without actually saying the word. The game is for 4 or more players divided into teams but we had five of us playing singly easily enough. The only questions we couldn't use were CLUES.The gameplay is fantastic and it was great fun watching people panic if the random pud was still in their possession and couldn't think of an answer! Challenging players answers was also very funny. BTW, this can be played across the generations with no problems although CONNECTIONS maybe a bit challenging for the younger players. Our game consisted of players aged 22 - 50.Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend this game for the fun factor. Even if you don't award yourselves with the silver coins its still good fun just to see your friends squirm trying to answer the questions. Its one of those speedy active games so no one gets bored. The only thing we had a problem with was getting the batteries in (AAA x 2 which you need to purchase) as there are 6 screws on the bottom of the pudding and although you think you need to unscrew all of them, its just the one in the middle which proved to be a bit fiddly. Also, the wires that hold the pudding to the box was sticking out the bottom of the pudding and we were not sure what to do with them as they didn't pull out...so we cut them off!Anyway, its a great game for all ages. Buy it for a lovely family Christmas game!!

This was an impulse buy on 23rd december for something to do on christmas day, I'm so glad I did! It arrived xmas eve and has been played several times over christmas providing lots of fun. The game is 4 games in one with the word games and word association games. It says age 8 + but we played with a 2 and 4 year old. The 4 year old could join in with the words game easily saying words to match a theme and passing the pud. The belch was enjoyed by the 2 year old. Even grandma had a good laugh! Highly recommended for some Christmas fun!

bought it for family for Christmas and it's lots of funthe timer is random enough to keep it excitingmost of 4 categories are simple enough to be entertaining with out being too taxing . last category is a little taxing for youngsters but then it's makes the game adaptable for all audiences (you can simply avoid that category if you wish)good for two people upto a dozen or more split into teams

This game is sooooooo much fun! I bought it for my partners parents and we all absolutely loved it! On Christmas evening we all sat down and play this game. We had so much fun! It's fun, you have to be quick and you will definitely need to think fast or the Pud will burp on you. It is sooooo funny. Kids would love it to!

Loads of fun. We tried following the instructions but it was a bit complicated and dull. However; we started playing it our own way by just calling out random topics like “animal noises” then chucking it around and waiting for the burp and everyone loved it. At this rate we’ll still be doing it next Christmas ?

Fantastic, brilliant and great fun-kept my children amused for hours on long car journies and at dull parties. Educationally got to be a winner as it gets them talking and all can play together as we started with single words..well worth the price, although unimpressed had to buy batteries given price.

Great for group games at Christmas. In theory straight forward but there's always one oldie who can't keep up, eg a straight forward theme like girls names to be shouted out - and they call out Brian. Hours of fun. - Recommended for all ages as even if they don't "get it", that's is even funnier.

Was good for Christmas Eve family entertainment although we were all adults. The categories are different to the pass the bomb game which was good as it made it different. You don't have to be good at words and spelling on this one it is more for general knowledge.

this doesn't come with batteries so make sure you have some ready. I made up my own rules to the game because I wasn't too keen on the rules given. I found it better and easier to just pass it round in a circle and work individually rather than as a team.

Funnier than expected. Played with large group and small group, from age 4 to 64, who knew people could be so competitive. Never managed to get through all the cards or use the sixpences, but lots of laughter was had. Would recommend.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for a few family members and they loved it. The game looked a bit simplistic at first, but had the whole family (ages 12 to 80) crying with laughter for hours. Will be looking to buy one for myself too!

We started playing this after a few drinks and it was a bit difficult to get the hang of it to start with but ended with a hilarious game girls against the boys and I'm pleased to say the girls won because the boys cheated (as usual)!

Opened it after Xmas dinner and it was used for hours. All ages from little ones to granny and grandad's took part. Buzzer timer very low so not heard sometimes but apart from that it was enjoyed by all. A great party piece.
