I bought this tool to remove and swap Campagnolo cassettes on some of my wheels, a task at which it performed spectacularly. To remove a cassette you'll also need a chain whip tool (Park Tool SR 1/11/18/2.2 or equivalent) to prevent the cassette from rotating and a 1" (25.4mm) wrench to fit around this freewheel tool. From there it's as simple as wrapping the chain whip tool around the cassette to keep it from rotating counterclockwise while you unscrew the lockring with this tool. If it's dirty or stripped or the tool is just not getting good engagement you can run a QR skewer through it and the hub, just be sure to loosen it as soon as the lockring starts to unscrew. It'll also work on my bottom bracket, but I haven't needed to use it for that purpose yet.In sum, Park tools may cost a couple bucks more than some alternatives but it's still significantly cheaper than an actual Campy branded tool, and I've never had it or any other Park tool truly let me down.

I much prefer this type of cassette tool than one with the handle pre-attached as it means I can use my torque wrench to correctly tighten it. Being an American tool you'll need a 1 inch socket to use it with a torque wrench, or you can just use a spanner if you prefer.

I built my first bike this year and needed a bunch of little tools to finish the job. Campagnolo is unique from Shimano and requires a couple tools tailored for their sizings. This tool was inexpensive and worked great to install my Pista Record BB.

Works well. Make sure you press it fully up to the cassette and keep it there - using a Quick Release lightly holding tool/cap/cassette together works well when initially loosening or tightening, avoids stripping the aluminum cap.

What more can I say? Well, I guess I'll say a bit more because it says "15 more words required' which to me seems like a complete waste of time. But alas, I'm over the required 15 words now so I'm outta here

I bought this for a walmart bike because the mainstream size you see everywhere (the FR-5 if I remember correctly) doesn't fit and this one fits perfectly.

The product as such would already be good. Unfortunately, I have already selected twice the wrong, because there are no measurements at the WEB-site.

This tool fits precisely into campy cassette lock rings, which is all that really matters. Absolutely necessary for changing your campy cassette.

Park Tools are the best you can have for your bike. This, like a lot of their tools is for specific applications and is well made and durable.

Bought to remove the Campag lock ring on my rear cassette and do the job without issue. Well made and will probably outlive the bike!

What can I say - Park Tools are the bomb and this one gets the job done - worked as advertised on my campy 11 speed cassette

Works very well for changing campy cassettes. Wish that big S and Campy were not different size lock rings. !

As usual, the Park Tool is a good substitute for any OEM part - in this case the more expensive Campy tool.
