These pens are the only ones my husband will take to work, which is unfortunate as people pinch them constantly from his desk drawer. When I saw these on sale they were too good to miss.The reasons he likes them are firstly, he has MS and finds a lot of pens difficult and uncomfortable to grip. These are comfortable and don't slip. Secondly they last ages (when they aren't being stolen) and the retractable mechanism never goes wrong, it will outlast the ink. Thirdly they're pretty thin tipped and leave crisp writing even when he doesn't have a good grip.I like them because they're more environmentally friendly as they're 55% recycled. Also as they last such a long time and rarely go wrong,

Absolutely love these pens! First off to those who say these are fake, look at the PaperMate website - they look exactly the same on there as they do in the hand. Obviously they have just changed their design slightly. In terms of how they write, everyone has a personal preference but for me these are ideal for a ball point - they don't flow as much as other pens though this makes it easier to write legibly (in my opinion).Docked a star as one of the pens' click mechanism didn't work on arrival. Fortunately I have a 'scrapyard' of parts from old pens so I just replaced the top section of the defective one with one from a previous pen,

These Flexgrip pens are among the best ball pens you can get. As mentioned by many other reviewers they are very nice to write with and do make the writing seem more "neat".My main complain is that the ink doesn't always flow nicely. This seems to be more of an issue when the ink is running out. The writing "fades" if you've been writing for too long in one go. Often a quick break of a couple of seconds seems to solve the problem, but not always.In the latest pack I purchased one of the pens had a fault retractable mechanism as well (the pen tip didn't go out as far as it should). Easily solved by switching the ink into another casing, but still a bit annoying.

I have used only Parker to date. I wanted something different and opted for this pack after reading the reviews. I wasn't disappointed at all.The pens are smooth to write with. I do have two recommendations for PaperMate:1. A rubber reinforcement grip (where the fingers grip the pen) would be ideal. I do experience pain when writing, even after just writing a few words!2. The pocket hook is not strong and does not grip pockets well. I have experienced the pen falling down. My Parker stays firm in place.

Pens: you can get them ridiculously cheap, or incredibly expensive but PaperMate has managed to develop pens such as these Flexgrip Ultra Ball's which are Affordable but also very reliable and trusted.You may be able to get 10 or more pens for the price, but those pens will likely be uncomfortable to use, they probably won't last, and they will not look good.These PaperMates work like a charm, they're easy to write with, they're comfortable to hold, and they'll last the journey.

I've been using these pens for years as the environment I work in means I often have to fill in paperwork with oily or otherwise wet and dirty hands. These have nice comfortable rubber grips and write well without any massive amount of mess. The click function is great as there is no lid to go missing. Only problem I have with them is people are always stealing them to replace their cheap Bics with.

I use this for work and my university notes. These pens seem to be just right. The weight, the feel (rubberised) and they write well. They are comfortable to hold, especially when you need to write for long periods (such as exams). Quality ballpoint pen with no smudges and is consistently smooth. The only thing I worry about is whether they will 'return' from borrowed hands.

These are my new daily ballpoint pen. They're smooth to write with, very consistent, no smudging or ink blots. They're sturdy and take a beating in the bottom of a bag, and importantly, the clip doesn't break off. Retractable was a must for me, because I can't stand losing lids. I've tried so many different models over the years, but for value and quality, these win.

Arrived promptly. Not used them yet, but I've had them before, and they are very nice to use. I've noticed them being used on TV by all sorts of professional people, Customs officers on Border Control, Probation Officers, Police, Teachers, etc.I prefer the black ones, as they seem to write smoother than the blue ones. This is just my personal view.

Very "above-decent" pens.Feels good, feels sturdy.I'd hoped for something fantastic, but what I got was highly-adequate.Personally, I think people don't use the scoring system correctly; in that, anything that doesn't get 5/5 is regarded as not being good.These pens are very, very good.... But not fantastic.So..... 4/5 stars.

I use these pens all the time to keep my handwriting under control as I really dislike BIc!! Well done Amazon who has these as ADD-ONS and so much cheaper then very big named stores. I always search for ADD-ONS when I have an order over £20 as you never know what little treats you may pick up at a very good price. Well done Amazon.

cheap and spot on good delivery and probably the best pen you can buy for the price.only one major fault everyone that borrows them never returns them.i have never had one run out i think they grow legs and run away,if anyone asks to borrow one they always say what a good pen and then like magic its gone

Why has Paper Mate bothered to re-invent these pens? This is the ultimate biro. Comfortable to use and no blobs of ink. Slim enough to fit in the hand, long-lasting and reliable. I shall be buying up old stock to last in case the fatter Flexigrip Elite replaces this tried and tested design.

very good pens to say you can pay a lot more money for up market pens do the same job good writing pens but small refills thaw go in them on this model other models may be different well recommended if you don't use a pen a lot if heavy user go for a better model pen for home use good

Was worried as I'd had some coloured papermate pens and they were awful to say the least but these are great just keep writing and last ages. Very happy with them. They're also comfortable to write on with the rubbery surface and not slippery (in comparison to standard biros)
