First, allow me to make it clear which product I am reviewing as the customer reviews below apply to five distinct sets of pens, while similar, they are different. This review relates to the ‘Assorted fun colours’ Paper Mate Flair Felt-Tip Pens | Medium Point (0.7mm) . On selection of the product, it is the first one from the left. One last tip, if you liked this review, please press the helpful button. Now to the review!I use these pens to write, as opposed to colouring. I like felt-tip pens for this purpose; they make writing fun. Yet, I deducted one star because of the disadvantage based on my intention for use.ADVANTAGES+ A medium, 0.7mm,tip is good for everyday writing.+ The quality of the pens are fantastic.+ They look and feel good in the hand; the lid is firm and has a secure snap lock.+ The magenta colour is vibrant and also my favourite writing pen.+ The magenta colour is clear and easy to read.DISADVANTAGES- The other colours, Orange, Lime and Sky Blue are too light. As a result, I found it difficult to read what I wrote. They would be good for colouring, but they lack a certain punch for writing.

Clearing the air; this is an honest review, I do not work for the seller or anything it’s just an honest guide- check my other reviews as proof. At the end, please vote this helpful ✨To tHe PoiNt:I bought these pens for genuine righting as I figured it’s easier to understand things in colour.Packaging ?They came in a neat plastic pack which isn’t good for the environment so if your eco-friendly you probably shouldn’t get this.Quality ?They were thin so we’re good for righting and they have lasted very long- still haven’t run out. If you were to use them continuously they would probably run out in 6 months time. You can fit the kid on the other end of the pen which is good so that you don’t easily loose the lid.The pen didn’t squash if leant really hard on it either which was really good. The colours are exactly as shown not brighter or darker ?Comfort ?Some people (me) right in a certain way that your pen is kneeling into you finger- this pen did give me a blister but it was really easy to use and smooth.Opinion ?‍♀️Get this pen if you want to: it’s worth it’s value and it’s efficient for righting and posters.

These pens are a cult legend.Initially I bought then in black and blue.. then went to red. Then I found the 4 colour packs of purple and green etc. Now, I find these!! These have the standard blue, red and green you find in school. Also they have the wonderful purple, and aubergine. Why are felt pens so good? They write like a dream. They're just so easy to write with, that whether you're an adult or a child, you can't get an easier pen to use. The colours are vibrant and bold - everything you write becomes instantly distinctive. However, they're so popular, that even office staff will ask for one of your pens.. and you'll feel bad saying no - or "go buy your own". Literally - you cannot put these pens down.I can imagine that children may need a pack of their own, or you'll get fights over these. Everyone will sneak these pens away from you... as they are adored.A cult classic - with a new twist.

No arguments from me on this one - the pens have water-based ink, so they're a little less prone to bleeding, even on lighter weight paper. I bought mine to use in my bullet journal. I'm currently using a Leuchtturm1917, and while there's definite ghosting with these pens, nothing has bled through even when I've repeatedly gone over a section to highlight it.The selection of colours is decent; you have a few of your standard colours (black, blue, red, green) along with a few bright colours (yellow, orange, sky blue, etc). I really like the muted plum, olive and marigold colours. These are, I believe, a Medium felt tip. You can write pretty easily with them (great for faux calligraphy if you're into that kind of thing),but at the right angle they'll cover a sizeable area in no time!Overall, I can't fault them. For what they are - medium felt tips with water-based ink - PaperMate have nailed it.

I am an artist and print maker and a massive fan of the PaperMate Flair. They are really good value for money. I've never held my pen 'correctly' and what I love about these pens is that I can hold my pen however I like and the ink flows, because of this my hand never gets tired from holding the pen too tightly or pushing too hard. This is my standard day to day pen of choice, I use it for everything - note taking, drawing, doodling, sketching, planning. I love the selection of colours in this pack, which helps me with visualisation and note taking. My house mate also brought a pack for Uni work and is really enjoying using them. They are like a fine felt tip (so perhaps not for everyone)but designed to be written with, so have a much firmer nib and superior ink flow. I love them!

I just started using these this morning for marking up a tonne of documents - so much easier on the eye to use different colours. I'm delighted with them, nearly all of my old felt tip pens had run out, have had trouble finding just the right tip width in lots of different colours and these are just what I needed, fine enough to make notes with, unusual colours so means you can use usual red, blue, black etc. in addition, and as they're felt tips I can edit with them lying on the sofa. And the colours are pretty, not necessarily vital but how nice! Thanks papermate!

I was looking for finer tips than these, but could not find a suitable pen with good reviews so I took a chance on them. They are really comfortable to hold and write really nicely. They're a little less fine than I am used to, but my writing is still neat and legible. They've been used on Pukka Pads and the ink does not soak through, but I don't think you'd get away with writing on both sides of the sheet as it's faintly visible from the other side. (I'd guess that's a paper thickness issue though, as it's not an issue with ink bleeding through.)

21.6.2020

Was first worried about the grip since its smooth but it is nice to hold and nice thickness. They are also super elegant looking. You can write in them but its not as easy too, they are more for colouring. Wonderful selection of colours. I am a avid colourer and I think there a great set of felt tip pens! I would take my opinion as I have tried my fair share over the years! Would give this 4-5 stars. You might find it a little annoying putting the pens in and out of the packet as there is a large number of them.

Great set of pens, were purchased fro my daughter to use them on her colouring in pad that is all the craze at the moment. The pens do not bleed are very accurate to use and represent the colour on the pen accurately. Very impressed with how when even colouring in small sections that the ink does not bleed throught the paper. I imagine if you colour enough in one section it would but from normal use not at all.Are not the cheapest pens in the world but you certainly get a quality product.

Good quality pens and a nice point. However, I think I was expecting a bit much reading the other reviews so slightly disappointed myself. I prefer a slightly less dry feeling felt tip and actually prefer the old school berol pens. My only real gripe with these pens is that the colours do not match very well to the colours on the casing - leaving you with a bit of a guessing game as to which pens you've already used and what tone of colour is going to appear on the page.

Bought these in the Black Friday deals for less than £8 so cannot complain about the price! Really lovely to write with/colour in with. In the four days I've had them I've used them in my diary, to decorate a Christmas timetable and in colouring in books. Some of the colours have been a bit 'harder' than others meaning they're not as comfy to write with but I'm sure they will soften up with use. Can't comment on the longevity of them as have only had them a few days

5.12.2020

These pens are really lovely. Very little bleed through the paper unless a thin quality paper. Really vibrant colours and the tips are thin but not flimsy. The only reason I'm knocking a star is because one arrived with a crack on it. But I contacted Papermate just to see if I could get that one replaced because it was my favourite coloured pen- magenta! Customer service were lovely and sorted me promptly. Please just be mindful of packing, Amazon :)

As a left hander I find it hard to get a marker or pen that doesn't smudge and these ones don't at all. They are the best. I love the fine tip, it writes so well and doesn't bleed on the page. The colours are bright, more of a purple in the pouch than pink in the pictures. So far the ink lasts pretty long, I have used them for a while now. The pens are easy grip and the lid clicks on tight. Definitely be buying these again and in other colours!

These are lovely pens that I haven't been able to find in the shops. A bit pricey, but you do get 16 pens so when you think of it that way it seems quite reasonable. There are a wide range of colours and they are vibrant. They write well and feel nice and are easy to grip when writing with them. I would not recommend these for colouring as the ink has a tendency to bleed through. For writing though, this doesn't seem to be a problem.

These pens are perfect. Just absolutely perfect. The ink flows easily, smoothly and evenly, the colours are solid and vibrant and they're just a joy to use.The other thing, of course, is that for those of an age simple things like these pens really are a very pleasant reminder of days gone by - and pretty much forgotten. I don't remember them coming in so many colours but I'm so glad they do.I'm gonna go do some doodling :o)
