These pens are great everyday, basic ball pens. The barrel is a good size making it easy to grip and with its rubber and ribbing, never slips. It retracts so doesn't leave marks on anything when you put it down - and has no lid to lose!The pen itself is extremely smooth and very rarely 'blobs' like other such pens. It seems to last a decent time (although because this is the large, it does run out quicker than say a Bic Biro. Then again, because I like it so much, I tend to stick to it and maybe use it more than I would so possibly not a fair comparison!). Definitely highly recommend to anyone as a good writer!One negative is the title of this item is 'medium black'

Being a student, I do a lot of writing. I've tried loads of different brands of pens, trying to find the one that I can sustain writing with for long periods. Up until now, my favourite pen to write with was the cheap and cheerful Bic Crystal, but after using these for days on end during revision periods, the shape really started to cause some pain and swelling to my fingers.I thought I'd try the Paper Mate, and I was very impressed at how comfortable they were to hold; and it glided across pages very smoothly whilst writing. It matched the Bic on smoothness on the page, and definitely surpassed on comfort.The only downside to these pens is the very short life.

These are the best pens by far out of the market leaders. Far superior to BIC Crystals in my opinion. They give a very smooth and consistent flow of ink and the ball is the right size that makes my handwriting really neat. They are comfortable to hold and the ribs at the bottom help support fingers. I take mine to work as my employer doesn't provide these and I much prefer writing with them. I guard it with my life though!! Ha ha. They are good for keeping in a handbag for occasional use or leaving in the car as they never go blobby or sticky on the nib, and I've never had to scratch them on a bit of paper to get them working unlike other pens however infrequently they are used and regardless of temperatures they're left in.

Extremely smooth. Perfect if you need to write quickly, so very helpful when making lecture notes at uni. One issue is that the flow rate is a tad too high in my opinion. It can cause excessive ink to be on the page, resulting in smudges, since I'm a leftie. Although it could also be because the ink does not dry too fast. Great pen for the proce though and these minor issues don't outweigh the smoothness you feel when writing with it.

My job entails writing all day at work. These pens are superb. Comfortable in the hand and smooth on the paper. The build quality is top notch and the pen has a rigid feel unlike cheaper ones that can feel flimsy. They also look good with shiny metal parts.Buying singly or in pairs in the shops is double the price compared with buying a box here. Don't pay slightly less for a far inferior product.

These are the best pens I have found for a long time. They have a really nice feel to them and are easy to write. The only downside is that if you write for too long or cross things out the ink stops flowing and you have to give them a shake - not the worst thing in the world, but bit tricky when in the middle of meetings and in full writing flow!

The thick nib, 1.4mm is hard to find and makes your writing SO smoothe and quick. I found them once in Tesco and never again in any supermarket or stationery shop which is why I order them off the internet. Nice to hold as well. I got a 1.7mm in the US recently which was even better (different brand) - maybe you could make those too?

I absolutely love these pens! Normally I really HATE all biro pens, because they come out so thin and scratchy, then don't flow very well, and sometimes the ink is really blobby and weird, but these pens are the complete opposite! They run sooooo smoothly and they're so flowy and thick!

Probably the smoothest most consistent disposable ball pens I have ever used. I have been using these for just over a year now, and cannot recall them ever leaving ink blobs even when nearing their end of life. Not the cheapest, but definitely the best.

I like these pens and use them all the time in my job. Amazon provides a number of suppliers which are better than other sites I use. I am using Amazon more and more as it provides easy access to the items I want to buy and is hassle free.

I regularly use these pens and seeing them at a good price I ordered the box of 12, (also bought 12 Black pens). They should last us a while. Service was good and they were received quickly. A fine product with a good sized writing head.

Super pens, particularly if you like a broad 'nib'. These pens write boldly and are very comfortable. I have been unable to find refills for them yet which is a shame, but for a box full, the price is good.

Have used these pens previously, so knew they were good. Have a nice easy flow and make any job requiring hand writing a pleasure.Good to know i have enough not to worry about losing them now.
