My go-to pen for every occasion. The triangular shape of the pen body means that they're comfortable to hold for long periods - even if, like myself, you don't hold a pen properly. The ink is a sharp black, and dries quickly, These pens do not rub or smear unless you start drawing ruled lines with them or going to extreme artsy detail.As seen in the attached photograph, I often write very small when note-taking, and these are some of the only pens that allow me to do this whilst maintaining legibility. The click top is extremely useful as I lose pen lids very easily, and also emits a very satisfying click, which I'm sure annoys my colleagues in meetings but I find delightful.As for how long they last,

These are lovely pens, they're comfortable to hold and write well. What i liked most about them was the fact they were quite thin! I don't like chunky pens! In the job I do i have to do a lot of writing, and I can keep a couple of these in my pockets! The one drawback they have, which made me cancel an order for a bigger box of them, was the fact that as you write and press down, the writing ball seems to go back up inside the pen. In fact it was so bad that it pops the top off the pen. If you're heavy handed like me it is an issue, to keep stopping and pushing the pen back together! But my colleagues who steal them don't seem to have that issue, so it was either just me, or I had a bad pen!

When I went on holiday last year, I bought a diary and this comfortmate. I have written for almost a year with it and its colour is a beautiful blue. It is comfortable in the hand, the rounded end glides on the paper in a very satisfactory way and it never stops writing like some biros. I stuck it in the spiraling of my journal.I am so glad to find it every day I write my most intimate thoughts. The pen almost provokes me into writing so easy is its grip, its gliding and the firm blue mark of writing that is left on the paper. This is a paper mate indeed, the mate for your every thoughts! I like its solid clip too. clip it off and it will slip into your hand happily!

I actually bought these in error - I had entered a search for the Papermate Ultra Retractable and didn't realise I had selected something different. I was initially disappointed as I like the feel of the Ultra which is rounder and slightly bigger however I have to say the flow of the ink on these is very smooth - in fact more of a flow than the Ultra. The grip is a soft feel rubber and as described they have a triangle feel to them which is quite comfortable. Overall a pleasing pen to write with.

I'm an older person and was looking for a pen that was more comfy to use for a long time writing without making my fingers numb. Although they are ergonomically a good triangular fit, my fingers go numb after a lot of writing because of the pressure needed to make the marks. I now use the for ruling lines and they don't smudge. They are nice birotype pens at a good value price point. I bought a different more expensive sort of pen with smooth low friction ink which is better for me.

These pens are relatively cheap yet seem of decent quality. I like the fact that the barrel is very slightly triangular in shape, reminds me of my school days. As a medical doctor, without a pen i am redundant, and whilst there are plenty of drug company pens around, the ink tends to be pretty lacklustre.Overall, its a good reliable pen to have around, which is comfortable to hold.

Firstly I got few of these pens in stationery shop and I have been using them ever since. They look good, are easy to hold and they writing from them looks good. Feels good to use. Received same type of response from other people who borrowed the pen from me (after forced them to give it back). You can get cheaper pens but these have good quality and last long. Recommended.

They write, they have a retractable ball point and they do the job fine.Unfortunately, putting the pen in my front shirt pocket with a knowing smile and wink across the room didn't make me more attractive to the females I work with??? Not recommended as a dating aid but if all you want to do is write then fill yer boots they will do the job just fine!!!

I find these pens so handy when I'm waitressing as (when I had the old pens with lids) I used to lose them all the time and the pens used to dry out; but with these it's just a click and it's done. Sounds stupid I know, but you don't know the struggle I used to go to.. until I found these beauties lol.Everything else was perfect, thank you!

PaperMate is my only pen on choice and they never let me down. So need a restock of pens and my choice was oh, PaperMate and these only. The comfort in the handling is very important and these just feel so good. The ComfortMate Ultra 1.0 M is really nice to write with and never lets you down. Excellent buy

I don't need lead in my pencil if I have ink in my pen.Works well, writes smoothly and does the job. Always get compliments on the pens from the ladies if they ask to borrow them. This has got less and less more recently as I tend to dribble so they are starting to buy their own now.

I used these pens during revision so they got a lot of use and were comfortable to use throughout. They also lasted a good length of time and the ink flowed well the whole time. Great, simple pens.

Softer and easier to hold than the average pen which just gives that little bit of extra comfort when holding pens is a little painful or difficult. Several in a pack which I think is great value.

These are so much better than other pens we have tried. Ideal for school work as a pen running out of ink or not writing in the middle of an exam can be a nuisance. Quick delivery too!

I've already reviewed the black ones of these, and these deserve as much praise. I love how they write, and they're very handy to keep in my handbag or for my sons to take to school.
