I have a road bike that I used for hard packed trail and light gravel. I was using an urban/commuter tire (Kenda Kwest) and slipping a bit around corners so wanted to look for a gravel/trail tire but have limited clearance on my bike. These fit that need pretty good actually at 700x28C. I still dont have the grip I want on light gravel however you cant expect that from this tire given the low profile tread design. In addition, these tires roll faster and smoother on the road then the commuter tire I was using. In summary, worked well for my need but they are a bit pricey - we will see how long they last - I have only ridden about 100kms so far.

I was sent the SK version in error as I had wanted the slicks originally. However it worked in my favour as I decided to keep them. The SKs for small knobs are an excellent all-road tyre. Im running them for a mix of pavement, rough roads, double tracks, and gravel. I don’t feel I have much drawback on the blacktop other than a bit of a whir sound at speed but they don’t feel slow at all. They really shine when I go exploring and go down side roads and trails, I don’t have to worry.Overall they are a great tyre and I don’t see much need to run a different set for the vast majority of my mixed road riding.

Haven't put them on yet; just putting the pictures up for folks asking what these are. Ordered the 700x40, got brown sidewalls and a nice mixed road/gravel tread. They'll almost certainly gum up in mud or wet clay, but that's what a knobby Maxxis is for. Used to commute on Panaracer T-Serv tires that never went flat--after honing my flat fixing skills on some stock tires.

These tires ride great for all purpose. I definitely notice a speed difference when I swapped out from my Conti GP4000s, however the added traction on sandy surfaces is super helpful. The 25C are the ones i'm using on a low clearance italian bike and i'm pretty happy with the versatility of these tires in comparison to straight up slicks.

Decided to go with the 700x26mm brown sidewall tires for a neo-retro build I did last year. Tires are good quality and perform well in different conditions. I am by no means using these in race environments, I typically ride between 17-20mph for distances between 20-100 miles. So far no issues during normal use.

With over 500 miles on these tires I can honestly say they are the best urban tires. I ride on sand, some gravel, and the road. No flats! They roll easily on the road and give a nice grip in sand and gravel. I wouldn't recommend them for serious off-road riding, and that is not what they are intended for.

Excellent choice for anyone who is mostly on pavement but ventures off the pavement once in awhile or for anyone living in an area with where the road conditions or pretty horrible. They roll fast and have tons of grip both on and off road (packed fireroads/country roads).

Bought these for a og road bike build. I've bought Clements tan sidewalls before for same project. To me both brands appear exactly the same or very similar in construction just with different side walls and a little different tread. So far no issues

I run these with tubes, pretty durable. Fast enough for roads and great traction on gravel.. best of both worlds. I ran over a screw and the tire held up for a few miles without losing air. A little slow on the climbs though...

Absolutely smooth & quiet + the lightest/strongest brand in it's size & class. Yes there's stronger but they get heavy. I've had 2 pairs & now adding a 3rd for another bike. Allows my mtb to keep up with roadies

I bought these for riding bad pavement in NYC on a "fitness" bike, and they are perfect. Quality is really sweet for the price (foldable, made in Japan). Mounting was great. Very happy after a few rides now.

Best tires I've ever used. I haven't even used them off-road for very long but they really love tarmac too. Haven't gotten a flat and I put them through hell. Glass and nails haven't popped them yet.

There is a reason I’ve ordered these tires over 6 times for the same bike they work they last. If you do any city commuting that involve slick or uneven ground you need these tires.

I went 3k miles without getting a flat using GravelKings 28s on my road bike. I took these tires offroad as well in light gravel. They are quite sticky for the first 50 miles.

I use 27.5 x 1.75 on Lynskey M230Highly recommended tire, very comfortable, soft, not slippery, slick on asphalt, ceramic, smooth on pave, gravel road. Good rubber quality.
