I am a regular user of this product, so when I saw it priced at a 35% reduction, I couldn't resist. Then I saw that there was a 2-star review posted about the item so I became wary until I read the detail. The reviewer talks about thinking they were getting a 'tube' but receiving an 'tub of oily cream'. Well. Even a rapid view of the product image shows a bottle! I have no doubt the reviewer means well but could it be that these comments were posted against the wrong product? I checked the seller's storefront and found that they were actually the manufacturer, which made the information seem even more bizarre. So I took the risk... and was not surprised when a bottle of the real deal arrived rapidly through the mail.

Growing up, my immediate family always used Nivea, my extended family always used Aveeno or Cetaphil. Nivea makes your skin incredibly smooth, but I have never liked the smell really of the thick cream in the blue packaging. And, Aveeno and Cetaphil are too expensive. I love this during the winter months, thick and creamy. The smell is amazing, I have gone through bottles, and never gotten bored of it. In terms of quality, it is good, however it makes your skin more velvety soft rather than silky soft. Nivea, Cetaphil and Aveeno will achieve the silk glide if you are looking for that. However I don't like the smell/pricing of those products, so they are rendered useless to me.

The cream is quite thick but surprisingly easy to spread and is soon absorbed. I use it on the lower part of my legs which get very dry and the cream makes the skin feel immediately better and the effect is long lasting. It is quite quick to dry too. There is a very faint scent of chocolate to the cream but it is not noticeable once applied. Having tried numerous types of moisturiser this is my favourite. Because the cream is thick it is difficult to empty the container completely but as it is plastic it can be cut in half and the quite large amount left can be used up.

I've been using this product for over 4 months now and recently repurchased from here for an excellent price. I have very dry young skin and apply this everywhere on my body, especially my face! It works wonders and is actually the only one that does leave my skin smooth and moisturised. The smell is divine like chocolate and it has a wonderful but not greasy consistency. I highly recommend it! I am also pregnant and I have been using it to stop pregnancy itching and it really does help.

Had temporary dry area on one leg so used this prior to sleeping, woke up with well moisturised leg and no dry area. Continued to use and now leg back to normal.The smell is lovely, it takes a while to absorb and dry but your skin feels very soft and mosturised later. It also gives your face a healthy glow if you use it after washing/drying. Just keep using it to keep away dry skin.Only downside is bottle is hard to squeeze, but Palmers do offer a small tube that does the same job.

I love all of the Palmers creams and this is another fantastic product that keeps my body moisturised and smelling amazing! My only complaint is that when you get half way down the bottle, it becomes difficult to get the cream to come out just by squeezing it. I have to turn the bottle upside down and give it a shaking in order to get the cream to squeeze out. Definitely go for the pump version of this, as it’ll be a lot less hassle.

This lotion is the BEST for tattoo aftercare, my artist recommended it to me and I'll never go back! Smells AMAZING, not sickeningly sweet but just a gentle chocolate smell that is so luxurious. It is quite thick so a little goes a long way but not sticky at all, leaves skin feeling and smelling amazing and does wonders for tattoos! I have really dry & sensitive skin and I just love this product, great price on Amazon too

My daughter uses this product daily on her skin and we usually buy it when doing our weekly shop. The price in the supermarket goes up and down weekly and we got fed up with trying to buy when the price was lower than other weeks. I saw it on Amazon at a good price and bought 8 units which will last a good while which provided a big saving. The product itself is very good, my daughter will not use anything else.

This is my go-to moisturiser that I use daily (before bed and just out of the shower). It’s one of the best I’ve ever used in terms of hydrating the skin. My boyfriend dislikes the smell but I think it’s pleasant and natural. The only downside is that it doesn’t dry very quickly so I don’t recommend touching your phone, tablet and other devices immediately after using it. Highly recommend!

Honestly this is the best lotion. It smells like hot chocolate. I buy it every Christmas as it is a very cheap (price-wise, not quality-wise) festive alternative to other festive brands like Body Shop. It also makes my skin feel very silky. It helps with extra-dry skin and also keratosis pilaris (bumps on your skin when your skin doesn't exfoliate properly). Highly recommended!

A good quality cream that does smell of cocoa (and I have handled cocoa pods and beans so I am down memory lane). Don't buy if you want flowers! The cream however is thick and smooth. It rubs in well and isn't sticky. My skin is very dry and this cream stops it itching. I have used it on my face too. The cocoa smell does not persist for long once the cream has been rubbed in.

I have very dyshidrotic eczema which causes blistering and can make applying lotion very painful. This is the only lotion that actually improved my eczema with continued use, and didn't sting on application. This obviously didn't cure my eczema, but it has brought lasting relief. Soaks in well, but does go on heavy-- so you may not like it if you have oilier skin.

This product smells gorgeous and the smell lasts nearly all day it’s a good price too as in most places they sell for about £4 so it’s worth getting it from here the only downside is and this is where ever you get it from when you get about half way down the bottle it’s hard work to get it out and I mean hard work other than that I love it top notch cream

I’ve been buying Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula for years. My mother has been using this product all her live. The smell is amazing and the cream is extremely good for softening and nourishing all skin types.Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula cream is particularly great to use on stretch marks or blemishes.The price on Amazon is also great!

I have always loved this cream. I have very dry skin and this always helps but has the added benefit of smelling amazing. I recently had my first tattoo and was recommended to use cocoa butter so I was happy to keep applying my favourite cream. I ordered this as I needed a smaller bottle to take on holiday with me.
