Loved this mess free grinder - a lovely set salt & pepper, always recommended to friends and family alike who used them. Particularly like the build quality, look, feel in hand, performance, and always a talking point when guests were round. Bought in 2017, and now finally after 3 and a bit years of daily family service, the grinding mechanism has finally gone. Loved it so much I'm buying another. Hope the next one lasts longer...and I might treat it more gently...

I spent a crazy amount of time searching for the exact rock salt dispenser I wanted... all fell short until I found this one. It has a clear, thick, plastic body (easy to clean and doesn’t smash to bits if dropped, like others I’ve had). Stands on its screw-filler base, so no bits of salt on your surfaces as it dispenses from the top by turning upside down. Even has a slide salt-grader so you get to chose your preference of coarseness. IMO - perfect !

This mills salt very well indeed (even sea salt, unlike most others, which is the reason I purchased it), and I am pleased with it. The size of the grain is easily adjustable. It only loses a star as yesterday evening the plug which you remove to refill it had somehow become unscrewed, depositing salt all over the kitchen worktop. It would be wise to periodically check that it remains tight. Otherwise, an excellent product, and recommended.

Lovely pepper mill that is really pleasurable to use with a soft grip and a smooth grinding action. Nicer than others we've seen for 2 or 3 times the price. We also like that it's mess-free on the table since the grinding parts face up (not down, as with many grinders). Once you run through the included peppercorns (which are of decent quality), you can fill with a colourful mix and make better use of the transparency.

I have one of these pepper mills and I am using the new one for grinding herb salt. Both of these grinders are very easy to use, and refill. They do not leave any mess on the table because of the design the grinding parts are on top when you have finished with them. An all round great product, I would recommend these to anyone for salt , pepper and dryed herbs or spices.

Well made salt mill. I have purchased two of the pepper mills in the last month, and both work very well. The only thing I will point out, is that when removing the protective seal on the top of the salt mill, the OXO logo disk came off with the sticky protective seal. I just pushed it back on. Another customer has also mentioned this issue.

Fantastic design! Grinder is on top of the device so no unsightly ground material left on the table, turn it upside down to use then back on its base. The base is also a great design as it has a large hole for refilling so no more mess. Quite expensive hence 4 stars but worth every penny, hopefully years of service from them.

Works like a charm. I had a cheap plastic salt mill and this replaced it. Obviously this is miles better but it's very easy to use and has good options of the grinding size. I do think this could be cheaper but there are some ridiculous salt mills which are just not work the money.I would recommend this as it does the job.

A quality product with clean looks which achieves a cleaner work surface with the inverted action. Looses 1-Star as it's let down by very poor adhesion of the upper 'OXO' branded circular tab which covers the upper twisting mechanism screw. It came loose on first usage. Will have to resecure myself with superglue or epoxy.

Great mills with a good number of adjustment options. Easy to fill and has a large capacity. My only gripe is that the little cap on the top of the mill fell off as soon as it came out of the box, I pushed it back on and it's not come off since.Used regularly every day, easy to adjust and grinds perfectly everytime.

Great product, easy to fill. No mess - just as the name implies. Much more hygienic than bottom dispensers which pick up all manner of gunk off the table/worktop. Another great product from OXO - as I would expect! Just disappointed that I can't seem to find the matching pepper mill anywhere!

Nice design, nice handling. One star down because you need several twists to get some pepper out of it, especially if you use the coarse setting. Not a big deal though. Would definetely buy again because of the unique design that does not get pepper onyour countertop!!!

I have bought many products from this manufacturer and this one does not disappoint. The feature of be able to grade the grinding to your personal preference and the fact it is east to hold, the easy refill cap and ease of use makes it a must buy. Highly recommend it.

Very good pepper mill. I love the fact that you can select the coarseness of the pepper when grinding and also the wonderful design with the grind facing upwards when resting on the table (i.e. no more constant cleaning of pepper off the dining table).

I have never been so excited over a salt cellar. Love the fact it’s sturdy , dispenses from top so no salt leaking over tables etc plus you can adjust settings depending how much you want to come out. Love it and great value for money . Thank you
