I find it ideal for getting small bits of dust & lint off my garments. Worked well on cotton/linen fabrics, denim and knitwear w/out excessive nap/loops.I own a number of black clothes, so this has been essential during my newfound attentive attitude to the condition of clothes. However, it admittedly hasn't always been effective at removing fluff-stuffs from my black denim jeans.I found myself however really liking the brush holster/cleaner. Referred to as the "base", it does a pretty good job at clearing the brush with it's (Patent Pending!) cleaning system. Simply contains the same microbristle brush material on either side, oriented in a way that brushes the brush upon removal from the base. In,out a couple times, dust collects at bottom, open up, remove, rinse & repeat. It's quite efficient once you get used to it.The brush comes shy of 30cm when in it's holster (I think that's a cooler name for the base). Somewhat sizeable for small backpacks, but still reasonable to take on the move. I do actually find myself using it outside when I have a spare moment. So for the money, it's quite good. You could get cheaper, but once I saw this recommended in a blog for it's brush cleaning system, I wanted to try it. And it delivers! You just might need a lint roller or perhaps a rubber brush to get dust off more stubborn materials. It does work better than a softbrush, which I was using.I for one prefer a less disposable, more environmentally friendly solution for lint. So for me, this will suffice.

Where has this product been all my life?!I own 4 Ragdoll cats, if you have one, you’ll know exactly how much they moult (the only downside to owning one!). I just had to purchase this after seeing it on Mrs Hinch instagram.I purchased the garment size product, BUT I use it for all around the house. I use it to defur the sofas, curtains, carpets and stairs. It’s a fantastic product, SO fantastic that I have been promoting it everywhere! I really put it to the test, I always hoover everything first, THEN use this, and you wouldn’t believe how much fur I have uncovered (which the hoover hasn’t picked up and is basically invisible otherwise).I’ll just make it clear, that I purchased this with my own money and have not been asked or paid to write this review. It really is a great little piece of kit.I would recommend to anyone but to those especially who own pets which cast/moult.Quick and easy to use and it is emptied by simply opening the bottom and pour straight into the bin.I’m not sure why it has a few bad review, I can only imagine they aren’t using it correctly?I have included photos from just ONE furr “hunt”. I do this every 3/4 days. So for those saying if doesn’t work, maybe the bad reviews are from a competitor ??‍♀️It’ll be the best £12 you ever spend ??

We have a cat, which always seems to end up on one of the beds. After she leaves the bed, there is a thick patch of fur left behind. We were going through so many fur rollers, I took a punt in this.Firstly, it’s a decent build for the price. Nice and sturdy, and the material which collects the fur, seems like it should last.Testing this in the beds, I would say it collected 80-90% of the hair. There was a lot of stubborn hair which seems to get caught in the fabric of the covers, which come up off with sticky roller, but I can’t seem to get off with this. I have found workarounds, but not as easy as just rollers. But, it does a good job, so happy to keep using this. The cleaning is very easy as well.A lot easier than I was expecting. One swipe up and down, and pretty much all the collected hair is in the little bin at the bottom.

This is the first time I've used it and so I don't know if the cleaning container will work or not so I may edit this later. I usually use the paper lint brushes as I find those the best and have tried brushes like this before and not so good but actually I used old ones not new ones. However, this brush seems totally different. I used it on my very messy black jeans and BOOM everything came off in one sweep so easily! I am so glad I've found this brush as it helps the environment with it being recyclable in terms of you don't need to keep buying paper refills and works better than the paper ones as you can really only use them once before tearing the paper off.Super excited to have found thisbrush as I use these type of brushes several times a week!

Cleans itself - amazing. You need to make sure you use in the correct direction. It takes off a lot of cat hair. Sometimes it depends on what you are brushing the cat hair off - i.e. the material. It doesn't get 100% of cat hairs off and there is an element of some hairs being lined up but I was quite impressed. I have to say I think it also depends on the type of cat hair. I have a long haired cat and I think hair pick up is generally easier as its wispier and longer easier to get hold of. Shorter haired cats have different type of fur which has always seemed more difficult to remove to me.

I'd read some very mixed reviews about the cheaper unbranded versions of this product - the blue and white one - so decided to go with the Oxo version. It's excellent at removing pet hair from both the sofa and my duvet cover. I also have the larger furniture version, which has a flexible handle. This version is a much better size - the other one is huge - and the solid handle feels much sturdier. I'm not convinced the hinged handle on the larger Furlifter will stand the test of time, as it feels a little flimsy. I would highly recommend this product. It's expensive, but it really works.

We have a cat who moults like anything. We find her hair everywhere, in the bed, in our clothes, the car - you name it it’s everywhere!! Bought this from Dunelm for £12, also bought the travel one for on the go. It’s easy to use as you work out which way you need to brush the fur, you then push it back into the compartment to remove the hair. Sometimes you need to give it a little wiggle side to side and pull it back out to make sure all the hairs have been removed. I’ve posted a story board of how this item works as the bedding is now free of cat hairs (for now!!) great buy

We’re a household with three cats. They all refuse to use the beds we’ve bought for them and insist on curling up on our bed! We’ve has cheaper lint rollers before and gone through dozens of the sticky paper ones, but this Oxo one is definitely worth the investment. It glides easily over furniture and bedding. The best part is the hair just catches in the bottom and you open it to empty when full - no more trying to peel off those sticky strips on the rollers or wetting your fingers to remove hair from the cheaper brands!

Great, simple design, no overcomplicated engineering - it's double sided, so changing direction just means rotating it in your hand. This also potentially means twice the life, as you're not using the same piece of material for both brushing directions. I assumed the brush stand/cleaning device would turn out to be a bit gimmicky, but no! It's a great and effortless solution to getting the hairs off the brush. It collects inside till you empty it. Slightly more expensive than the others, but a superior buy.

These things have been around as long as I can remember, hardly a new conceptbut they do work quite well. The newer version with a self cleaning base is what got me back onto this, it actually works quite well !Not perfect on all fabrics, I got this for cat hairs...on cat covers and the sofa...it works well enough so I have ordered a second one for upstairs. Not sure the price is right...but what can you do, the second one is a cheaper variety but the napped brush fabric must surely be the same.

This is the first lint/fur remover brush I've bought that ACTUALLY works. We have a long haired cat with white fur, and a black sofa, so you can imagine the state of our furniture. This lifts everything so easily and quickly. The only problem I guess is that it's kinda hard/gross to empty it out afterwards, but you gotta do what you gotta do! I love it so much I'm actually in the process right now of buying one for my clothes and another for the carpets - since the Dyson doesn't actually do the job!

This lint remover is awesome! All you need to do is to clean your clothes and then place it back into the holder, when you will take it out your brush will be clean already and ready for another use. Perfect solution, so you don’t need to spend ages after cleaning your clothes to clean your brush, once it’s full just simply open the bottom and empty from the collected lint and no need to empty after every use, just once in a few weeks! If you want good quality brush this on is a go to product!

Took time to research and devided on this. A great decision i feel as with a constantly shedding black lab who jumps on to sofa and likes so snuggle in bed, this is a super fast and easy way to remove the unwanted hair without having to wake or disturb the family with a noisy hoover. Very pleased. Easy to empty with removable bottom. Arrows on devise helps to take the thinking out of the process so super easy to use. Nice and light too so no strain on poorly wrists either.

Wow! This is fantastic! We own long haired cats and have to de-fluff work suits on a daily basis. Over many years we have tried a range of clothes brushes and sticky rollers, but the fur is so fine that it can weave into the fabric. This brush does the job! The holder removes the fur from the brush and keeps it clean for each use. The fur collects at the bottom of the holder to be removed in a clump. I have purchased the smaller travel version for my handbag too.

Have a rag doll cat that seems to leave cat hair EVERYWHERE, found these after some research - amazing product, really do lift off cat hair. The travel size is handy for keeping in your bag / to hand for emergency cat hair removal. Easy to use, just swipe in one direction and the hair is stripped off when plunging down into the body of the device. Excess catty hair collected at the bottom.Have bought the larger version and the even larger furniture version (!)
