I had an older version of the Tripwire - the new one is a bit lighter but I like them for strapping helmet and jacket to the bike when I stop off somewhere - the cable is easy to thread through jacket arm and helmet then passing through the frame or grabrails of the bike to secure. The plastic coated cable doesn't damage the bodywork. While not as secure as a heavy chain, this fits nicely in the top box (or even a rucksack) and isn't excessively heavy.

I like this piece of kit. It is light and versatile for securing my bike and for securing items to my bike. When securing my bike I pass the eye over the lock and onto the cable, I then put the ulock onto my disc like a disc lock. It just adds an extra layer of security. This works on my Honda CB900 Hornet and my Honda NC750X.

had my bike locked to this for a few months. it hasn't been nicked yet. good waterproof sleeve cover for the lock - not too bulky for carrying on the bike- long enough to reach awkward fixing points, overall good for the price range

Was amazed how quick it turned up! Excellent service and well worth it. Easily fit 2 x helmets n more with its 1.6m length! Highly recommend it and sportsbike shop!

Wanted a lighter chain to secure bike and this fits that requirement and is exactly what I’d expected so a good purchase.
