So I bought 2 of these cable locks as I normally keep my bike in my garden and just wanted something good, when this arrived the first thing I saw was that it was extremely thin and could be cut within 2 seconds with the right cutters. When I used my key placing it in the correct way it wouldn't work so I had to use a bit of oil and still wouldn't work so I left it for a bit and then it worked. This can be wrapped around your handle bars or under your seat.Overall if you want the best level of security for your bike go for a U lock from a good security company like Abus , Kryptonite , Pitbull and make sure to research about it before purchasing. Any lock can be broken if the thief is determined,

Let me tell you a story.Sometime in the late fall of '96, a deranged man terrorized a small town. Each night, he would go out and use a lock - not unlike this lock - to bolt random bicycles together. Sometimes, he would do it in the day, too. He would brazenly walk up to a bike rack, and lock two or three bikes together. Imagine the horror of being a commuter....coming off the train after a hard day in the city....to find your bike chained unlawfully to two other bikes without a key in sight.I know; it's just too much to imagine. But it was real.The man was never caught. He probably just grew up and moved on with his life. That's what some believe. But I think he's still out there,

As other have said it is a bit on the short side, but it is definitely enough to go around the wheel of an bike and lock it to a pole or something.It is very thin and small, probably very easy to cut through by a bike thief. So I would not recommend it as a main lock for your bike. However it is a good deterrent if you know the area is safe but don't want to leave the bike with no lock, and can't be asked to get out your main heavier lock.So in summary, its enough for stopping people from just wheeling away an unlocked bike, but not enough to stop anyone with a pair of bolt cutters.

Use the cable lock to secure helmet to bike when ease of operation is needed.Makes an ideal accessory for a summer day and fits either in a pocket or top box. The key is small and fits on key ring easily and is identifiable from other ones in the bunch which makes it simple to open and close.Overall can't fault the product or brand as it's well thought out and can tell the designers have listened to the consumer.

Bargain & much better quality than a cheapo lock from one of the highstreet discount stores and worth the extra £2. Not the highest security obviously, but would stop and opportunist thief. The professionals will crack it in no time at all. Light and easy to carry (even in a pocket), kinda springy so coils up on itself. Honest product, not pretending to be something it is not.

I bought this lock for my mountain bike just as I quick stop like outside a shop for a few minutes, I would not use it as my main bike lock as it’s not as durable as you would like it however saying that. This little lock will do what it’s made to do. And at this low price it would be rude not to buy one.

Good quality standard bicycle lock. I use this to lock up my bike outside the library. Evidently, it would not deter the equipped thief but this lock (so far!) seems to do the job as well as any other locks of a similar style and price. Good product as long as your expectations are realistic!

This may be small & light but it's just the thing for carrying on the bike for the ensuring it's safe & secure. It's more of a deterrent than a permanent lock so it's ideal to carry around whilst out riding when you need to leave your bike unattended.

I can't say this is the best lock I have ever bought since the lock itself is really small and can be easily picked. However, for 2.5£ it's a pretty good deal and does it's job well. I wouldn't recommend this lock if you have an expensive bike.

As it says on the tin, the product turned up to me in good time as promised, very happy with that. good value for money only thing if any is the lock is a little short but thats a miner problem. over all very good value for money.

Bought it for my sons bike for when he rides to school.no problems with it.quite sturdy,keys work well though their not metal,perfect size for a kids bike to lock up at school or on the railings outside your house.would recommend

Good bike lock for the price, very quick and easy easy to use as one end locates into the other to lock. Probably not gonna stop a well provisioned determined thief, but good for stopping opportunistic thieves. Would recommend.

I've bought this to wrap round the handle on a motorcycle top box, as an extra security/deterrent for a trip to Italy. I doubt it would stop a determined thief, but hopefully, they would go for an easier target.

A good purchase, especially for light use. We bought it to lock our garden gate to stop folk wandering around to our rear garden. It is fully effective. Very reasonable price and quickly delivered.
