The product is 5* more than can be said for customer service which I would only give 3*.PRODUCT:We own a caravan and have the usual problem of making the bed up from the settee cushions. Our particular cushions have a raised and rounded section along the front edge of the seat so the ideal place to put this to provide the maximum flat sleeping area is at the foot and head ends. This means that the narrower back cushions must go in the middle - this is where you find that your hip lies on a joint between two cushions. We have been looking for a practical lightweight, minimal storage, and quick to deploy solution. A mattress topper was one looked at but discarded due to lack of a suitable storage space when on the road.Tried all sorts of cushion configurations that all had their problems.Even tried turning the seat cushions upside down and using them in the middle with an old airbed folded and put between the raised bits. It was an improvement but still did not satisfy a total comfortable nights sleep. Then I spotted this mattress - checked the dimensions - length OK but a bit short on width though not dramatically so. It fits neatly between the raised bits positioned at foot and head and leaves a 5cm gap either side. Best of all it gives us a level sleeping area without feeling the joints.Once it has been unrolled and allowed to inflate the first time it is so quick to deploy. Just unroll; open the air valves; get on with something else for a minute or two; close the air valves and lay out the bedding - Yippee! As for comfort - a very happy nights sleep had by us both every night.CUSTOMER SERVICEThe supplier advertises a 2/3 day despatch - so on day 4 sent an email through Amazon querying despatch - got an answer 10 days later. In between I had a message from the courier advising delivery on a Thursday (A day late from the indicated delivery period but what the heck) Had plans for that Thurs so shifted them to the Wed. When did the courier deliver - Yes! On the Weds when no one was in.Only good thing to be said - they did deliver!

I was very surprised by the comfort of these mats. I bought two to go with a small tent such that my mats had to overlap at the feet, so a double mat would not work. It is true that they will always need topping up by blowing into them to some extent, but that is to be expected. More important to me was the pack size which is compact, and more importantly that I was able to get them back to that size after use! In fact, with a bit of help I was able to get these mats stowed smaller than when they arrived. I found no quality issues at all with either mat, and after being blown up to their full extent (I wanted maximum depth) there was no air leakage at all, which I was very pleased with.Sleep comfort was good, and above what I would expect from such a thin air mat. A great buy - would recommend.

We have tried so many airbeds, it's criminal. Fed up with buying beds that barely last more than one use before they started deflating in the night, I searched for an alternative. My friend had a much thicker version of this self inflating air bed, but I was on a budget so went for the 3cm version while it was on sale. It arrived in a day, just in time for 5 nights at Glastonbury and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Slept like a log. Better than our mattress at home, embarrassingly! Used it again, camping in Cornwall. Tipped it down, water entered the tent and was underneath the mat, but we didn't notice! I'm a really light sleeper and usually get achey hips when I sleep on the floor- not anymore.Happy, happy customer :)

This is the first time I have tried a self-inflating mat having previously used the ribbed blow up ones for camping. This is sooooo much better. I have just returned from four days away camping and I loved the mat. I laid it out at home first, let it inflate then gave it quite a few more puffs to get it how I liked, then left it for a few hours (the instructions recommend this). Then when I took it camping it blew itself up more readily and I only needed a couple of puffs to get it fully inflated. But then, the most amazing thing, it didn't need any more blowing up again for all four nights - old fashioned mats need a bit of blowing up every night in my experience. Very pleased.

I got this to replace my blow up air bed. this is more much comfortable and i would say a bit warmer than an air bed. i must say that i folded it in half to make a single bed which was about 6cm thick. it inflates well, but I also blow a bit of air into it, i dont think that you have to do that though. i have also used it for my twin to share and they slept really well on it. its not as heavy and bulky as i thought it would be. i have since purchased two single inflatable mats which are 5cm thick, (now the whole family are on mats when camping) however i have given this 5* for comfort, good size/weight and more reliable than an air bed.

We bought three of these for our tent, to replace some awful jobs that inflated to just a few inches wide (you know who you are!).They are great, don’t slip all over the place and whilst they don’t fold up to be pocket sized when you’re packing them away, they support you at night so we’re happy. We have two doubles and a single and they lay perfectly across our tent’s sleeping area, meaning we can all roll over and not worry about falling off the damn things.I wish they were a little thicker but we couldn’t justify the cost. For now, all good!

Best camp bed I've ever used. Far superior to any air bed. Good quality material easy to inflate and a great nights sleep so well worth the price. When it comes to camping, in most cases I'll go for the cheapest option and just get on with it so to speak, but with regards to sleep, me and my partner both agree that you need to spend more to ensure you can get a good nights rest so you can enjoy the camping trip. This definitely delivered in allowing us to have a great nights sleep every night we used it. Recommended!

Love it too much.I have a skoda station wagon and sometimes I am out in the middle of nowhere and it is easier to fold down the back seats and sleep in the back , the first time I tried that it was pure torture, so I bought this , I have only used it once and I slept very well even though I did not inflate it and slept on it in single bed mode. It rolled out quickly and rolled back just as easily .It also stores compactly in the Skoda's compartments.A life saver when you need to sleep well.

This is how a sleep mat should be - every bit as good as my previous Gelert one.If you follow the instructions it even inflates firm enough to use without topping-up the air by blowing it up.Realistically, normal use will mean that you cannot keep it just as the manufacturer describes but, like other good makes, a couple of puffs of breath will top it up to a good level.I have an athletic build and am heavy so the mat has to be pretty good to be comfortable and this one is.

Have had the opportunity to use this on two weekend trips so far and was very satisfied with the performance. I tried it in both "double" and "single" layer mode. Doubled over the mat was very comfortable and single layer offered the opportunity to sleep "wide" (I tend to move a lot when I sleep)The mat compresses well but takes some effort if you want to get in to to fit in the bag provided. I just roll it up and tie it to my backpackOverall 10/10 would recommend

This is a brilliant product, perfect for what I wanted - a long range shooting mat. It is soft on hard ground, you can use it, as is. or semi blown up or fully blown up, yet it's physically light in weight and has a small foot print. Much better than the traditional ground sheet most shooters use. Have already had a number of people ask where they can buy one! Would highly recommend, versatile piece of kit.

Saved our backs, literally. Though not the easiest to carry piece of equipment, and the its bag is rubbish (had to wrap it with an extra strap to make we won't lose it somewhere), it was quite an improvement compared to the foam mat we usually laid on.However, I'm thinking to buy the next level of this mat, the thicker one. Heavier, for sure, but can't argue with the benefits.

I got this for when I stay over in the Inlaws house, it arrived early than expected which was great. It inflates really quickly but for extra comfort you will have to blow into it, it fairly comfortable as is but with the extra width you get from the extra air makes the difference..I will be getting more of them for the camping trip during the summer.

Used for the first time last weekend and was very surprised at how comfortable this was, packs down to a reasonable size and just needs a couple of puffs of air to get it inflated to a decent level. Got a very comfortable nights sleep even on a lumpy grass field. Highly recommended.

Got for three of children to share whilst camping. Has held up well so far. I do have to top up with my own puff just a little but thats quick and easy to do. The children find it comfortable, I tried it on the last camping trip and found it more comfortable than my campbed.
