My husband was able to fit this relatively easily, however was hindered by the instructions in the box being for the square option and not the round as we had been sent. It also had a cracked shade which had been damaged in transit, however as I have received this in return for an honest review I did not contact either Amazon or the supplier for an exchange (however i also note another reviewer also received a cracked shade). The light is a very stylish and discreet light fitting, fitting flush to the ceiling and emitting a strong and clear light. We have installed this light in our kitchen/diner and have found that it easily lights both ends of the long space and far outweighing the previous light source.

I have just had this installed and whilst I did not do it myself, I am told, reliably, it is straightforward to do. Once in its rightful place I am pleased to report the light is indeed a 'warm white' which is rather satisfying in its shade. The unit does have a rather sterile look about it when not in use but I don't find that this to be a particular issue in my case. I can imagine some will not be overly impressed with that - and will probably not buy it so that would not be an issue. If you are looking for a light fitting that has simplistic visual appeal but provides a warming light to read by, this should certainly be on your list to consider.

This is a nice looking light.I got it fitted professionally as I felt that was safest.It looks really nice and gives off a nice glow.It seems good quality and as it is led should last for years.I am really pleased with it ....
