The light itself is excellent quality as should be expected by the price, I ended up purchasing one of these lights due to our Springer being an absolute water baby. Most other dog lights say they're water resistant but not waterproof, while this light is watertight to a depth of 100m which might be a little over kill for our needs. The light comes as standard with a kind of rubber watch strap attachment mechanism, perfect if you wanted to attach the light to almost anything from a bike handle bars to a dog collar or harness. After a couple of weeks of our spaniel abusing the hell out of the light going through hedges and undergrowth I did notice some splits on the rubber strap so decided to upgrade to the safety light clip made by Orbiloc,

Despite some of the reviews, this is currently the best dog light I have purchased. Similar to the ones made by Ezydog, however with a small dog the light needs to be in proportion. Ezydog make a small light which is pathetic in terms of light output. They then do one the same size as this, giving off good light but is very bulky, the domed top stands very tall. Orbiloc have the best of both. It's a nice size, but also very thin so it doesn't look out of place. The switch is much easier to use as it's not a case of tightening the top dome, it has a rotation ring below that allows access to flash as well as steady on. Again with the ezydog light you have to open it and rotate the batteries for different modes,

Great light, I have this and the white one. I got the white one first and it is almost too bright (I know silly thing to complain about when all the other lights I got were too dim) but it was blinding me when close so I put it on the bottom of her harness and now it lights up the ground in front of her so I can she if shes found something she shouldn't be eating. The purple I've put at the top as it isn't quite as bright so I'm not blinded but can still see her if she is laying down blocking the white one. Now I know where she is in the dark, even when she goes through shrubs or takes off to the other end of the field. I also feel comforted that she is very visible for cars.

Before buying an Orbiloc, got through a few cheap LED dog tags that always either ceased to function or fell apart after a very short time.The Orbiloc is very well designed and made from high quality materials, that provide good performance and a robust product that can be permanently left fixed to dog collar, travel bag, etc. The batteries last a very long time, about 250 hours in flashing mode. Dogs can freely go in rivers, the sea and roll about in mud without fear of damaging the Orbiloc. Great also for taking dogs for walk at night, as they can be seen from a long way in parks and open ground when darkness falls.Highly recommended and well worth any premium paid over the cheap and nasty

Read quite a lot of poor reviews and was pleasantly surprised how good this product performed.Went on a 2hr walk on coastal path 2330, half moon, light was spot on, you don't want a light that blinds you, the balance of this product has got it just right,For those who worry that you won't see it 5kms away, well if your dog has gone that far, don't let him off.Chose green to keep night vision and swimming but if your doing road work, avoid this colour and go for a more danger colours, such as orange and red.On the whole, really pleased with product,Delivery was couple of days.You know what your buying and if you want a light this is the product to buy.

So after approx a year of owning these, I think they are great lights. As long as you use the velcro straps to fasten them they stay put. The velcro is ever so slightly torn after a year left on my dogs harness. My dog has been swimming numerous times with them on and they have stayed watertight. He has rolled around on top of them and they have not been damaged. Be prepared to pay extortionate prices when you have to buy the batteries if you buy the orbiloc service kit, or buy 2 Duracell dl2032 (same as cr2032 just Duracells name for them) but bear in mind the service kit come with the o ring seal.

Fantastic light. I’ve used this everyday last winter walking the dog early mornings & evenings in the dark and 2 months of winter this year before the battery started to go and the light became dim.There are cheaper alternatives but i doubt they last as long. My dog is VERY active & this light has withstood being rolled on, rain & mud! It actually fell of my dog’s harness & fell into a lake 2 weeks ago, i wrote it off as a loss but spotted it today & managed to fish it out. Amazingly it still works perfectly.

An expensive product and not easy to switch on and off. I should imagine a person who hasn’t got a good grip or hand strength would find this impossible to turn on and off.Product works though and it is sturdy but I can’t see how the light from this would be visible for more than 100m never mind a few kilometres.If you think that a car driver is going to see this if you dog wanders onto the road in anything but perfect conditions then it is doubtful. Good product but expensive fir what it is.

This product is ace, this is the second one I got (because I now have more dogs, not because the first one broke). We use it a lot, it's all the time mounted to my dog's harness, so it's been hit and rolled on like a million times. It still stays on, the battery is as strong as it was last year. It's also truly waterproof, including jumps into water. Super easy to attach, really helps to locate your dog when it's off the lead during the night. I have been recommending it to everyone!

This is a very well designed light and it fits perfectly onto my dog’s collar. The flashing light can be seen from a distance (I chose the red) so it helps me locate my pooch when he runs through the undergrowth at night time. In fact I was so impressed I bought a second one so he can be seen from any direction. Not the cheapest on the market but it’s extremely well made and it has withstood all that the British weather has thrown at us!!

All as expected from description. Strong, bright light on black, shaggy dog. I have two, one on each side of my dog as he's completely black with long hair. Flashing collars are no good as they disappear in his coat. With these lights drivers see him when we're in the city and he's on a leash and I can see him when he's running free in the countryside where it's pitch black. Product arrived overseas quicker than stated. Very happy!

... for my dog. Has flashing or on settings. Is a good little 'navigation' light for furball at night. Use with the Orbiloc clip for dogs available separately for 5 stars. Edit Sept 20. Dropped the lead and light in the sea, but managed to recover it a couple of days later. Light remained sealed and still worked. A quick strip, WD40 spray and assemble and it was as good as new. Increased the rating from 4 to 5 stars for that.

I wanted a light that I could use for dog walking in low light. We live near a forest and and the flashing mode on this allows me to see where my dog is at all times whether in low light, mist or fog. It also makes walking in town much safer too. I registered the product outside of the 28 day registration period but still got my 3 year guarantee. I am very happy and wouldn't hesitate to buy this product again

The light has great visibility, is easy to operate, lightweight and not bulky. The light does moves around my dogs collar when using the velcro strap but this doesn't affect the visibility. Unfortunately the type of collar I have doesn't allow me to use silicon strap. I can't comment on the battery life as I don't use it on a regular basis but I'm impressed so far and may buy myself one to use whilst running.

Don’t bother buying a cheaper version or anything else like it. Our lab is constantly swimming, running through hedges and generally making a nuisance of himself. This is easy to fit, really bright, battery has lasted ages so far, totally waterproof, seems indestructible, stays where you put it. Very impressed and worth every penny. Have tried others and nearly gave up on the idea until this came around.
