It's important to know what this offers. The product description says "200 retro games", which tends to imply that these are old games from the very early days of home computers or even arcades. They're not. They are, however, passable imitations of games written for the early computers or even consoles. In other words, don't imagine you're going to see a long lost favourite, because you won't. You will, however, see games in the style of the old, eight-bit offerings that were so popular in the late '70s.The style bit's important, because with that comes the tinny and somewhat monotonous noise, imaginatively called 'music', and which accompanies every game. Yes it does feel cheap and the label on the box was a different name to the one on the controller, but to be honest I wasn't expecting that much from it. It was purchased for a parent who doesn't do well on modern technology but loves the really old space invader type of games. Tried it out and it does have a really good selection of games, yes the graphics are as bad as they used to be but that is fine with me. The simplicity is really great too making it easy to play.A longer cable would be better as you have to sit fairly close to the tv it connects to, and check your tv has the correct connections.Looking forward to hearing the feedback from parent to see what they think.

I got this as a bit of fun for my daughter at Christmas.There was an issue with it.I contacted the seller ( mid Christmas break - so expect no reply ) and they responded very quickly and politely.They sent me out a replacement within a day, which worked without issue.Sure something went wrong - but they fixed it fast , politely and all was good after they did.Given their approach, I would not hesitate to buy items form them again.For the item itself - its a bit of fun - as long as you treat it that way you will enjoy it ;o)Seems reasonably well made ( considering the price ) and my daughter has loved it.

My girlfriend got me one of these. It's quite cheaply made, but I've had no issues with connecting it to the TV. This little controller uses AV yellow and white plugs. Some of the games are really responsive, but I noticed some aren't so responsive. It's a good bit of fun, but take care with it. As I think some others that reviewed this item here, may have been a little bit rough with it causing the lever to snap off.I'd recommend it for someone that is maybe 13 up, as a little kid could break this quite easily.

This gift made such a good Christmas present! It is so small and compact, but once plugged into the tv it has over 200 games. What more could you want! The instructions are a little difficult to follow but not too hard. This game will keep your child entertained for hours. There are endless games , all of which are indeed retro. Only thing I would suggest Is that they make it with two controllers so you don't have to play by yourself. Overall a really good product.

This is a cool little plug in. Lots of games. We have had it for a few weeks now and still haven't gone through all the games. Doesn't come with instructions for the games but they're easy enough to figure out what you have to do in each one. Some super easy games and some that require skill and thought. Great for the whole family, little kiddies included. Just be aware, the graphics have that retro vibe to!! Lots of pixels!!

Only reservation is that among the hundreds of games it boasts, there is not one that most people would remember never mind associate as a famous "retro" game even though many of them are similar. There is no Pacman, nor Snake for example which is a disappointment. Still my little niece who can't remember when these games were supposed to have come out, is happy enough playing it.

Got this for my birthday as a little gift as I love retro games consoles. Yes it may not be original games on it but none the less I love it. Nice and easy to set up simply plug in and play. Some games are pretty hard, frustrating and pretty rubbish but for the price your paying can't complain to much (still prefer my N64 tho)

I bought this as a Christmas Gift. I wanted to find a Space Invaders game but couldn’t. This has games so similar and hundreds of others. I gave it to my best mate at his Christmas Party last night and it kept everyone entertained for hours!!! ( wine might have helped too ) Bargain

Brilliant little bit of kit! The actual unit is VERY small but is perfect for little hands! My son has really enjoyed the retro gaming sessions but it’s obviously more of a novelty than a replacement for his XBOX! Would recommend as a little gift or stocking filler!

I brought this for my partner for father's day off my son he loves his retro games like the Sega n stuff so thought it was a gd idea e loves it hadn't stopped playing it since very easy to set up u just plug into your television and your on your way

This was brought as a christmas gift for my nephew as he is a gamer, this has some old classic games included. Quite addictive and even though it's a single player game, the family all got involved to try and beat high scores and levels

This product was a gift for a friend. They loved it and said it's great. Particularly the huge choice of games. A good nostalgic gift and it was delivered from the UK to Australia, very impressed!

A great piece of kit! Just plug in and play straight away. With access to hundreds of games you'll easily find something you love. Controller is sturdy and well made. Very good value for money.
