We bought this Lion push-along toy as a duplicate. We had bought this initially from another source as I like wooden toys and thought he would love it. We bought the first one when he was about 14 months and had started walking. This turned out to be one of his favourite toys as he loved the noise when it was pushed and the colours of the lion.It then started going EVERYWHERE with him including on holiday abroad! Luckily everyone seem to be indulgent of the toy's 'noise' as it was hotly followed by a beaming toddler. We bought this as a back up just in case the Lion came to a sticky end and sure enough it needed replacing and we had this to hand for a seamless transfer. We have since then bought this for numerous children as presents and the feedback has been equally great.Highly recommended.

If you love the old fashioned wooden toys then you'll love this. It's traditional, bright and colourful, well made and easy to assemble. You screw the long stick into the smaller animal section and you are all set. My little one loves to march up and down with his lion making lots of noise on our wooden floors. If you have carpets then you won't get the clicking sound of the balls on the wheels rolling round which I think just adds to the fun of the product but I can see how it could become irritating. The product is built to last and has withstood a lot of use and throwing around and still looks like it will last forever. It's a real treasure of a toy and is one of those that is simple to use (unlike some of the plastic toys out there)but attracts children for hours of fun .

My neighbour gave this to my son for his first birthday last year. He loved it then and still loves it now (he turns two this week). We did have an issue with one of the wheels coming unscrewed to start with but a bit of wood glue soon sorted that out and haven't had a problem since - despite some rather testing 'play' from my son! He runs full pelt around the house pushing this in front of him. On carpet it has a cheerful clacking sound but on our wooden or tiled floors it is a bit more noisy (which I suspect is what appeals to him the most!). He laughs and laughs when he plays with it, which is always lovely to hear :)

I have always been a fan of buying wooden toys for my son over plastic and other materials, and this is a beautiful little item which is wonderfully rainbow painted with felt for ears and a mane. I haven't had any problems with the stick coming away, as another reviewer mentioned, but if the screw fixture did come loose I am sure some wood glue would do the trick. My 15 month old son loves this, and the beads that go round when the wheels move make a satisfying not-too-loud clacking sound. Would buy this for my friends children in the future.

This is a lovely, colourful, noisy wooden toy which I bought for my son when he was 1, and he still plays with it now he is 3. It is surprisingly durable, having survived being pushed along outside, but a while ago he did manage to break the stick by pushing it too hard. I have replaced it using a garden cane which does the trick! The paint has also chipped a bit, but only on the wheels. Great value for money and my son liked it as he thought it looked like Raa Raa the lion. I would buy this toy again.

Such a gorgeous toy, my 16 month old has been playing with it every day since she learned to push it (a few weeks after she learned to walk). The clacking sound is very gentle, the colours are lovely. We got it for our daughter's first birthday. Before she could push it she enjoyed playing with the beads and the soft mane and ears. It is so much nicer than plastic flashing toys. It teaches her cause and effect without all that and she is delighted with it!

Got this as I had already got the dog one for my year old twins and there were fights over who was going to push it. These push alongs are two of their favourite toys they play with them every day and love pushing them all round the house. They soon got the hang of it. Great for toddlers they were so pleased with themselves when they were able to use them. Nice solid wood and lovely colours. Nice change from plastic. Definitely recommend.

A Christmas present for my 1 year-old grandson and he was very pleased with it. The toy is uncomplicated but satisfying as the turning wheels set the bobbles spinning at the sides. The colours are eye-catching and the lion has a cute expression. The handle is easy to hold and Soren enjoyed pushing it around. I know I seem to give most things 5 stars but I look carefully before I buy and so am seldom disappointed.

My son received this from us about a month after he started walking when he was 1. It was the highlight of Christmas day. He ran lengths of the living room repeatedly, shreiking with delight! It's a durable toy too - it has been ran around the garden several times and really doesn't look too bad as a result.I've brought a few of these now for friend's children's 1st birthdays, always seems to be a hit!

I have bought this for my nieces first birthday present as she loves RaahRaah the lion off the tv. Both my daughters have the same toy but in a different design (ladybird and mouse) and adore them. They are made to a very high standard and are very durable in little hands. They will have endless hours of fun, Great price for a great toy. Service was brilliant from Amazon to.

I bought several of these wooden push alongs in the different designs as gifts and they were so well received both by the parents (who loved the quality of the wooden toy) and by the young children (average ages was 18 months). Bigger brothers and sisters also seemed quite taken with them! Prompt delivery, great quality product. Would recommend highly for 1- 2 year olds.

We received a little lion toy but found the axle was too small and the wheel wouldn't turn properly. This was quickly sorted out and we were sent a new lion who works really well. The lion is great and makes a good sound when rolled along. He's been a big hit once our little boy learned to walk and he likes to take him around with him and roll him back and forward.

I bought this lovely toy for my my great-nephew's first birthday. It is great that it is sturdily made of wood in the old-fashioned way. He is not walking yet, and will get even more enjoyment from it when he can push it along for himself. For now he loves the colours, the clackety sound when it is pushed towards him and trying to feed it with biscuits!

Very nice wooden toy and especially very colorful. We offered it as a gift to a 1 year and 2 month girl and she appreciated it straight away. You can unscrew the lion from the stick and the kid can play separately only with the lion. The 3 wooden balls sideways make a nice noise. As well very easy to take along for a walk. Would recommend this product.

Great product. Excellent gift for an active little boy. Two years on however, some paint has chipped and the wheels have come off their spoke. Although child in question made good use of the toy, had hoped this would have been something his parents could have kept forever. To its credit though, no small parts or unsafe pieces even when apart.
