So much hype around regarding in life 'get what you pay for' etc. - but often true ! - Visionary were recommended by an optician and these are just stunning; depth of field is excellent, they are light, waterproof and at their price you are not going to leave them at home when the weather's not too good and if dropped or broken it is not the end of the world. I was disuaded from 12 x 42 by optician and he was right - I bought those too as a second pair (refurbished) but you lose field of focus and depth of field but still good for magnification but if only pair go for 8 x 42

Good quality optics, little colour fringing, clear and bright image. Sturdy and well made. Only slight niggle is that the focussing wheel has a large amount of travel to go from close focus to infinity, and this is a personal preference as it makes accurate focusing easier.

Highly durable and practical item. It is both light in weight and ease of handling. This a high precision tool offering quality that is hard to be beaten by items twice the price. Recommended without hesitation.

Good price for the binoculars. Not dissapointed! Can't wait to make full use of the Visionary Wetland 8x42.
