Omega Quintet takes place in a world that is being damaged by a phenomenon known as the “Beep,” ("Blare" in the English version) which has been degenerating the life of humankind by affecting their minds. The game's prominent characters are the "Verse Maidens", an idol group with the power to fight off the Beep.These powers are used to fight the Beep and save mankind, by giving them hope and dreams.The members of the Verse Maidens are Otoha, Kyoka, Kanadeko, Nene, and Aria. Otoha is new member of the Verse Maidens, who is hard worker who is always positive, but is also still growing and can be prone to making clumsy mistakes. Kyoka has a strong sense of responsibility who does her job as a Verse Maiden while caring for others,and also has a hard time expressing feelings. Kanadeko has an explosive personality and often makes decisions without thinking clearly, Nene is very timid and often nervous and weak-willed, whom often shies away and hides behind Kanadeko, and Aria, whom is the eldest member of the Verse Maidens, whom is mysterious and tends to distance herself with her speech and behavior. Other characters include Takuto, protagonist of Omega Quintet, described as a positive guy whom acts as the Verse Maidens' manager and bodyguard, Momoka, a veteran Verse Maiden, Ayumi, Momoka's manager, Shiori, Kyoka's coach, Godou, the leader of the neighbourhood watch, and Tomekichi, a fan of the Verse Maidens, and is the leader of one of the supporting fan groups.The game features "costume destruction" in a manner similar to Senran Kagura, which happens when the girls get parts of their clothing torn off as a result of taking repeated damage from enemies.Another feature in the game is the "PVS (Promotion Video System)", which allows players to make their own dance video and custom live performances to their liking.This is done choosing over 150 dances for the characters. Omega Quintet lets players make light waves and effects using the PlayStation Move controller, and they can feature in the music video itself by using the PlayStation 4 camera.During the game's fights, its Voltage Gauge fills up when Takuto protects the idols when the player attacks the enemies. When it rises to a certain point, the player can activate Live Mode, which gives the idols bonuses. The player must also adjust the turn order successfully, as team attacks are formed if characters act one after each other.If you like hiyper demention neptunia akibastrip and other Japanese rpg you will love this game if not you will be a bit disappointed but the game have a good story funny charming characters and it's a bit silly in a good way :} the eng dub is greate but you can always use subs it's a greate game try it out and find out yourself

It's a pretty cool game.It has a solid battle system - one of my worries going into the game was that because music was a key part to it, that the battle system would be extremely weird. Games like Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel or Ar Nosurge which have a similarly stressed importance on singing have extremely nonsensical battle systems for instance, but this game has a pretty standard battle system with a normal attack, skills, items, defend and escape being options.The characters are great and all entertaining in their own ways - it is an extremely small cast of just the main characters and a few side characters - and there are several short events with the main characters in game that

The game has an OK story, vivid colours and enjoyable music for the most parts. If you enjoyed the Hyperdimension Neptunia series, you will probably feel at home with this game. It feels similar in terms of battles, aesthetics and goofiness of characters to the Neptunia games, although it can be more series at times. The graphics are noticeably better than Idea Factory previous ps3 games but not much better but the framerate seems more smooth. Dungeons in this game are very big but cannot be explored completely at first, but they have a nice twist where you can revisit them later and explore more parts of them as you unlock more exploration abilities. waited a long time for this game as I was curious as to how it wud be on the ps4 as there arent many games of this kind on the ps4 and I was not dissapointed, true there are aspects of the game that took me a while to get used to such as the chain skills I found these annoying and tedious as u need to peform them in order to complete certain subquests and for sum reason I couldn't do them but I quickly realised how to do them :) the affection with each girl is also interesting as you build them through protecting them in battle and spending time with them in between missions :) battles r fast flowing and addictive, monsters vary and there is plenty to do,

The combat is decent and exploration is a bit bland. But it has the fan-service element that closet otaku's like me have been craving for a long time. This was well-worth the money i put into pre-ordering. Great Japanese voice-overs with decent soundtracks.There seems to be a lack of proper Jpop songs that were advertised though but that's a small trade off for the harem coming your way.

I love this game, it is just fantastic, if you love JRPGs, fancy sparkling combat, cute girls and japan idols, this is perfect. the music is fantastic too. Probably my favourite game on PS4 to date

This games might not look to great on the outside but give it a go you might just enjoy yourself alot with this game, it is a great JRPG hope you give it a go ?
