I bought this to use on an Olympus M-10 mark II camera, for stills photography (not video; I don't do video). What I wanted was a lens to use for general travel photography that would give me good results most of the time, and that's exactly what I've got.Sure, other more expensive lenses with a shorter range might deliver a fraction more image sharpness. Sure, the last third of the reach of the lens - 100 to 150 mm - is achieved through a short movement of the lens, meaning you have to be precise with it (or, most of the time, take a step forward or back to get the composition you wish). But balance these two things against the convenience of having one lens,

I recently bought this, mostly on a whim pushed along by the Oly cashback promotion, for a recent trip to the Bahamas. Unusually, I decided that for the trip, I would unload my camera backpack of pretty-much everything and only take two lenses (this being one of them). It's a great lens - so much so, that it lived on my camera for the entire holiday! Not cheap, but still worth every penny.Update.. despite the 'dustproof' label, I recently had to return mine for repair under warranty. Somehow I sucked in some soot from a beach bonfire about 20m away. Olympus fixed without argument but didn't comment about my dustproof argument.

Fantastic lens (used Em10). I use a prime lens normally on my EM10 which is great, and I tried the 9-18mm, but was disappointed with the quality of picture from this.This lens is great, at the wide end seems very sharp, and the zoom is great and extremely useful. Very pleased with the picture quality and build quality.I use this in the mountains, and it was great backcountry skiing to be able to take landscape shots, and zoom in on skiers. Glad I bought it

Bought this as a weather-sealed travel zoom to go with my OM-D EM-5 II, and expected some compromises because of the wide zoom range. It has exceeded my expectations, a stunning lens for the money. It's a lot of lens for the money, and competently replaces the 14-42 and 40-150 m.Zuiko kit lenses.

Compact, lightweight and great performance. This is my favourite micro four-thirds lens because of its combination of portability and versatility. I had a Mk 1 version of this lens for several years and I have now only changed to the Mk II for the additional weather resistance.

Another well made lens from Olympus. As with all Olympus micro 4/3 lens it's quite expensive but took the plunge due to the cash back offered from Olympus in there summer promotion

I love this lens. It makes travel photography really easy - I only travel with the one lens and don't have to faff around changing lenses. It produces excellent results.

An excellent lens over the entire range. No barreling or vignetting noticeable at any point and it matches perfectly with my Olympus OM D10.

Incredibly compact for such a wide zoom range. Image quality is good, and AF, even at telephoto length is very good.
