An amazing piece of kit considering the size. I found the menu system easy to follow and set up. Records either onto the built in memory or a optional microSD card. A large range of options, recording presets etc means that just about any recording scenario should be catered for, from a simple dictaphone, to rock music. The built in mics seem really good quality.Recorded an outdoor rock concert, using the music preset. Result was excellent...no obvious signs of any clipping. Recommended.

On first impression the tiny (4" x 1.5") Olympus LS P1 looks like a dictation machine..... In fact it can record very high quality audio.Although built around a sturdy plastic frame, the device is clad front and back with a metal casing. It 'feels' pretty robust.The high quality low noise mic preamps allow for some very impressive results.The intuitive menu system - controlled from a central switch cluster - is easy to use. Thoroughly recommended - especially at the price!

I love the audio quality and the ease of copying the files onto the computer. Good memory, small size and simple to use. I cannot really find any faults in it. The only minor improvement I would have is to make it even simpler to start the recording, I have to make three actions to record, press down the power key to power, then press the record key twice and then it records. Other than that its perfect.

THE RECORDER IS GOOD AND SOUND HAS A HIGH OR LOW VOLUME IT IS ABLE TO TAPE ALOT. THE BATTERY PROVIDED DID NOT LAST VERY LONG WHICH WAS DISAPPOINTING

Good little recorder, very easy to use and clear sound. Just plugs straight into the USB port of computer for easy file transfer and charging.

Amazing, delighted, overjoyed. Great sound. Great size, great weight, wouldnt want it to be smaller or bigger, just perfect, amazing, !!!!!!

I used voice recorder for few times in last few days . It was very helpful to remember topics to deal with students .

Needs to be listened to on a good headset or preferably transferred to a PC to listen to or edit.

it dose the job without any problem, but be aware you need microSD if you will use wav format.
