I literally will not use anything else besides this eyebrow gel, it is everything I could have wanted. That being said, I will definitely add that a LITTLE goes a LONG WAY with this product specifically because it is very pigmented. I purchased this in Espresso because my hair color is a very dark brown and the color was perfect for me. I would personally suggest using an angled liner brush for application so you get a clean line along the bottom and top of your brow. I line top and bottom then fill from middle to outer end (away from nose) to use up some of the product on the brush and then fill middle to inner (towards nose) so there is less product on the brush and you can get that nice slight fade.This product will last all day and night without needing touch up which is great, and I still have no problem getting it off with makeup remover wipes before bed. One thing I have noticed is since you only need to use a little product I have had my tube for quite a while and it feels like the product may be drying a bit inside as there is now some resistance when I squeeze the tube, not sure what's up with that. I have multiple MUA friends and all have asked me what I use on my brows because they like the look so much, super proud to say NYX!

This brow gel is super long lasting, water proof, and generally life-proof. I have accidentally fallen asleep with this on, and woke up the next day with perfect brows, even though the rest of my makeup was a smudged mess. I spent the day at a theme park, in July, in hot Southern California weather, going on water rides and slathering on sunscreen, and my brows stayed put all day long. If you want a natural, "no-makeup" look, I wouldn't say that this product is for you. I personally like defined, bold, vintage style brows, so if that's what you like too, then this is a good choice. The gel can be a bit stiff when it first comes out of the tube,but if you put it on the back of your hand to warm it up and apply it with a good angled brush you can get a sharp, defined brow quite easily. A little bit of product goes a LONG way too. My only qualm with this product are that it's a bit difficult to remove. You definitely need a good oil-based makeup remover for this, but I guess that's the price you pay for such a long lasting product. I've had a this gel for several months now, and I'm starting to notice that I'm running out and that the leftover gel in the tube is drying out. I'll be sure to buy a replacement!

I use an angled brush for everything I apply to my brows, as everyone should. You really need little to none for this to work it's magic. I recommend using something OTHER than your hand or you're going to have stains. Soap won't wash it off. Water and scrubbing just smears it. Make up remover wipes will get it off easily.As for the shade, the Espresso is darker than I expected. It's so dark it's almost black. Some of the reviews said chocolate has a reddish tint and I didn't want to waste my time trying it. I SHOULD have gone with the brunette since my hair is a medium brown, but I'm used to slightly darker shades for my brow. This is too dark. I'm going to keep it for when I go back to dying my hair dark brown.Once my pencils run out, I'm going to order brunette.UPDATE: I played around with it and managed to make it look a LOT lighter than the first time I used it. You need little to none to get the right amount. I gently squeeze the tube just enough to have a bit pool onto the edge of the opening and dab an angled brushed into it. I use it up as much as possible before getting more. It may take some practice but requires a very light touch. Espresso is still too dark but I can use it.

I bought this eyebrow gel earlier this summer and I have loved it so far. Summer was approaching, so I needed an eyebrow product that would withstand the heat and my very oily skin and it does just that! This stuff really is smudge proof once it sets, and I've only experienced smudging after 10-12 hours of wear without touch ups. Many reviewers have commented that it's difficult to work with, so I was a bit wary but it gets easier with practice. I definitely recommend a good angled eyebrow brush with a spoolie to help with blending. It can be difficult to remove once it's set, so I recommend using an oil-based makeup remover or even liquid concealer to take it off of your face or hands.As for the color,I researched the swatches and the one I thought would be closest to my hair color (I have dark brown hair and I was looking at the shade Espresso) was red tinted, which I didn't like at all. I decided to go down a shade and purchased Brunette, which ended up being a great match. I would not recommend Brunette for people with very deep brown/black hair, but if you have brown hair on the verge of medium/dark (like me) it works just fine.

These eyebrow gels can also be used as gel eyeliners! Once they dry, they don't budge, even on the most humid days. They doesn't even transfer onto my lower lid after splashing water on my face multiple times a day. This is my new go-to Summer liner!If you are stuck choosing in between shades, you should go with the lighter shade rather than the darker one. If it ends up being too light, you can just use a heavier hand during application and your brows will end up fabulous anyway. This gel formula is almost impossible to use with a light hand--it dries incredibly fast, so there's no room for error if you pick a shade that's too dark. If you find a perfect match, you can use a medium hand for most eyebrow looks,or use a heavy hand to create a full, dark, thick-looking brow. I am a fair-skinned asian woman with black hair. Initially I purchased this in Espresso and it was much too dark for my brows, even when using a light hand. Ash brown ended up being a better match. I use Espresso exclusively as an eyeliner now.

I have mixed feelings about this product. I ordered the color espresso. I know that espresso is dark, but the swatch next to the tube as pictured looked like lighter so I went for it. I was tempted to get the next lightest shade but it looked more auburn. NYX should add an ash brown shade to the line. Anyways, it fills in sparse spots well, the consistency is very nice, and it is long lasting. However, I found it a little tricky to use. It dries fast so don't squirt it unto a palette. Just squeeze directly from tube on to an angled brush. I also found I had to use more than I thought per application. Not a big deal though, there is a lot of product in the tube for the price.This product will NOT tame your brows. I feel like if it tamed brows and I had the right shade I would have liked this product a lot more. An aha! use I discovered for this, is to use it as a gel liner.Overall, I do like the product and it is worth trying. If you are a pro at eyebrows you will probably fare better with the product than I.

My default method for filling in my brows has always been brow wax and a blending of dark brown eye shadows. I had always found other tinted brow gels, dip pomades, pens, etc., too expensive and in poor color choices for the results I wanted. In the summer time, however, brow wax in high heat on hot skin melts, and a smeared brow arch looks ridiculous. I love this as an affordable option to keep my brows perfectly neat all day. Unable to decide, I purchased Chocolate (a warm/neutral medium brown) and Espresso (a dark coffee brown, of course), and I am so glad I did. One is too light and the other too dark, so mixing tiny dabs of the two in equal amounts creates a perfect color that compliments both my hair and eye color.It dries down to a matte finish that remains unmoved. It's a bit flat looking to me, so I still apply a thin layer of brow wax to prep, and finish with a blend of reddish, chocolate brown eyeshadow. It's natural, and most importantly, heat proof.

After trying two colors of the Ana******* dip brow, I decided to try this when nyx introduced it and I am SO glad I did. I am a natural dark blonde with boldy highlighted hair, but naturally darker lashes and brows. The brunette color was absolutely perfect. Until this stuff, I used they maybelline define a brow in medium brown (liked better than the M*A*C brow pencil), and I find that the nyx gel is just slightly lighter in color and more ashy, which is PERFECT for brows. You can make your brows as natural or bold as you wish with this gel and it seriously lasts all day without budging, unlike the dip brow - even if you want it to budge, ha!I use an angled brow brush to apply and make sure to clean the brush every time so it is ready for the next day. The gel sets very quickly, so work quickly. It may take a little getting used to using, but once you have it down, no way you'll ever use anything else again. NYX, keep this stuff coming FOREVER!

So so happy I read the reviews of this brow gel and decided to give it a try! I have very sparse brows due to chemo treatments and the brow pencils I've been trying either look phoney or smudge off way too easily for steady wear, especially in summer weather. The NYX gel is so different: I apply it in a hairlike stroke to my natural browlines, and the textured gel just naturally "sticks up" a little bit so that it looks almost like fibers of brow hairs would. If applied carefully with a clean, angled brush, this look is almost (I think!) undetectable from natural brows -- the taupey-blonde color I chose is not too light or too dark, and as for staying power? Wow! Sometimes I get through a full day including a shower,exercise, and work, and then sleep all night with it on...and it still looks just great before I remove it to re-apply in the morning! Unbelievable! Haven't had a chance to "beach test" it yet, but I have very high hopes!

Omg Im so excited to leave a review for this product because I finally found an eyebrow product that can handle my ridiculous oil-producing face. At first, the consistency of the gel scared me a little because it's is kind of runny, but it allows for better control. The only little problem I had is that it dries a little to fast for blending, but I can make it work ;) It is very pigmented in a natural way, not so much that your brow looks obviously filled in. I had tried other more expensive products (ABH Dipbrow) which are supposed to be waterproof, but because of my super oily face, after a couple of hours my brows would start to fade. I have gone to the gym with the NYX Eyebrow gel on and voila!Brows where still there. I am completely satisfied with the product and will just be purchasing this from now on. I bought this in the color Espresso.

I have been looking for a brow product for awhile, so glad I found this! I have really dark, brown hair and most eyebrow pencils are too warm/red and do not match my hair. My eyebrows stuck out like a sore thumb! I bought this brow gel in Black and it is the perfect shade. It is NOT black! It's darkest brown, I probably could've gone lighter with Espresso also, but it looked kinda warm in the swatch pictured. But, will try it next time I order. It seems to dry quick also, which is good. I would also advise to work with a very small amount for a more natural "feathered in" look. I applied with an angled brow brush.This is the first time I applied this product (I'm use to pencil), gonna take some practice.But, I love it!Also, this product is VERY waterproof lol. I had to scrub it off my hand... Baby wipes seem to work well for removal though.

I've been using the anastasia pomade for years and its great but this nyx brow gel is even better. It's truly sweat proof! After letting this product set in my eyebrows for 10 minutes, it will not budge unless I use makeup remover. The anastasia pomade doesn't set as well and will smudge around if I accidentally touch my eyebrows. That being said, a "con" would be this nyx brow gel isn't as forgiving if you make a mistake because it sets so fast. You have to be very precise and very quick when working with this product. Another con would be I wish they had a larger range of colors. I use the brunette color which is the middle color and it's way too dark. Chocolate is too warm for my hair color and Blonde is too light.I would probably have to mix colors to get the right shade for me which can be an annoying extra step in the mornings.

I am a current baby makeup artist and student. I bought all of the NYX brow gels and they are amazing! They dry pretty fast so be ready when applying the product with a thin angled brush. I wish they had a lighter color than "blonde" though and a more reddish color for all my natural red red head girls. I sometimes mix some colors to get a custom color on my classmates or myself too which can be pretty cool for other young muas and for creative looks. The only thing that threw me off about this product is that when I bought all, "Chocolate" and "Espresso" were slightly larger than the other gels.I don't know if these larger gels are new formulas or old which kinda threw me off since my other 3 gels aren't the same size but other than that I would def recommend these products and will be repurchasing them to keep in my kit.

I recently got this product. After I made the order, I went on youtube to see some reviews and got very disappointed. Everyone were saying the formula was to liquidy (and it seemed like that in the videos), dried to fast and it was hard to work with. Finally when I received my package I was surprised the formula was definitely on the creamy side and it didn't dry too fast. The only thing I didn't like was the color. I have naturally dark eyebrows, which are rather ashy than warm, so I got the gel in color "brunette", but still it was too dark for me, I have to work very carefully when applying the product. Another thing I didn't like very much is the packaging. I think it would be better to make it in a pot,just because squeezing out the product on the back of the hand or anywhere wastes so much product and time.

If you used this when it first came out youd remember that once you put this on, it would NOT come off. Now, it's still great but not as smudgeproof. I know that this use to be a pain to get off at the end of the day, but as a gal that works in a hot warehouse, it was nice to know I didnt have to worry about my brows getting messed up.Also another reason I know the formula had changed is cus it's not as easy to blend as it use to be and is kinda streaky :(. Not too noticable if you have fuller brows but idk if I'd recommend this to someone with partial/no brow hair. Still my favorite brow gel tho. In case anyone was curious,I do my brows regularly and one tube lasts me 5 months (this is the only brow gel I use).
