Quality at a bargain price and replacable very quickly, should the dreaded rip in the cord come about! The comfort on the ear ports and headband itself was superb and enveloped sound was the ultimate clarity when I needed it off the back of a 5k system running full bore!No need for the gold plug nonesense and noneed for 20 metres of curly cable of knots tied in straight phono lines. As a former NJD World Championship Finalist and professional DJ and recording artist (retired until these recent weeks for ten years!) and having used supposed top spec industry standard cans and decks, I can say, hand on heart, these phones will stand toe to toe with any pair of £200 pans of £500 decks I have ever used.I have bought these phones and direct drive Numark turntables to help shake the dust off the tunes I have played over the last 20 years, for a mere £70 all in, with a cheap little mixer coming for a mere £10.When I sold my set up on walking away from the scene, I got £1600 for it.Look at what its cost to get a basic set up now?No wonder everybody wnts to be a dj!Real Dj's play records though and these headphones and the way that suppliers etc have raised the bar in standards have made it possible for an old soul boy, then rave guru like myself to come back in and have another go at the industry I walked away from and it leaves plenty of new room for the new school up and coming Dj's to start off at pocket money prices.Excellent headphones at an unbelievable price. Many thanks to your good selves and all those at Numark!Best RegardsDanny MacRead full review...

I bought this pair of headphones for no other reason than I wanted to find out just how headphones costing £6.99 would sound and also I thought they looked really neat. They are smaller than I expected but the finish is really excellent even though they are lightweight plastic. They are adjustable and very comfortable. For the price they sound much better than could be expected. They go loud without distortion. They have a good solid bass and lots of drive and impact. Midrange is a bit peaked up making vocals prominant with a tendency to 'shout'. Treble is subdued and without technical measurment I would guess quite rapidly rolled off - Even with substancial treble boost from a graphic equalizer it doesn't come through the bass and midrange, although what treble there is sounds clean. There isn't a huge amount of detail to the sound and overall the music is slightly veiled. Stereo soundstaging is limited inspite of these headphones having a really good try. At no point is the sound unpleasant and for noncritical listening these phones do very nicely. They are perfect for laptop use when skyping or watching and listening to videos on websites. Perfect also for queing records etc. I recomend owning a pair for speech where comfort is more important than sound quality. If I had to listen to my music with them I would and I would still enjoy the music. Contruction, finish, comfort and styling are all 5 star. Overall worthy of 4.Read full review...

An absolute excellent product. This pair of nifty headphones certainly delivers the goods, crisp treble and high notes whilst providing deep, tight bass lines. Being from Numark - it has all the build quality and long lasting qualities that you would expect and it was definately worth the money I paid for. A large TRS connector instead of a small one means that it's less likely to break - as did with every pair of in-ear earphones that Ive ever had.Excellent if you're listening to music from your devices, a small compact size means its light and can be taken anywhere. I bought the product to initially replace in-ear earphones with always break and are so annoying as they suffer from degradingquality - the HF 215's never suffer this problem and always have a consistent audio performance - whatever you happen to listen to through them combined with a long lead and one that is thicker. Despite all the negative reviews that people have written about them, I believe that this is a great all rounder, performs exceptionally well and the sound quality is just excellent. The product does have a tight fit when wearing them - this will settle down over time to your head shape - otherwise nothing negative about this item at all! Perfect in every way!Read full review...

Review of the Numark HF125 Stereo Headphones. These are often aimed at home DJ's as not many people use headphones like this for general music listening anymore so it makes sense they market it at the teenagers in their bedrooms with their turntables! I use them in a DJ set up (although Im no teenager!) and have bought them as a replacement for some heavy older headphones I have. Firstly they are quite compact in the speakers size. Construction is all plastic with the padded earcups and overhead band (headband has NUMARK across the top). They are light weight and comfortable to use. I was expecting them to be poor sound as they are so light and compact but quite the opposite the sound is very clear and punchy. The great benefit in a DJ setup due to the soft ear cups they sheild out ambient surrounding noise so you can actually hear them. There is plenty of cable length and as it only comes out the right ear phone (not both earphones like some) it doesnt get in the way. They have the larger 6.5mm plug which is ideal for mixer decks and larger home stereos. Overall I would definetly recomend these - the price is a bit high in some places but search ebay and get a bargain!Read full review...

I bought three pairs of these...with the intension of using them JUST for studio monitoring for my recording set up...as the BIG can versions although traditionally prefered are often too uncomfortable for long session useage. These were tested NOT just in a booth enviroment but as main headphone monotors for myself on a mix board at live gigs....as practice phones from various amp & instument oputputs ...and of course as ordinary HI FI cans...In all the above enviroments they have proved themself for clean accuracey upto a higher standard that some £100+ non noise filtering cans currently in cirulation....I would be fake of me to say they match my workhorse AEG master mixdown phones ..BUT atthe price they are on offer here ...you are NOT going to go wrong for Numarks intended useage for jobbing DJs & Sound engineers...They are very comfortable even over long periods of useage ( 6 hours+ being my longest to date )....Robust build & the fact they fitted a standard molded 1/4 jack plug [NOT a 3.5 with adaptor ]connected to a stout cable is a resuring proof that these are DEFINITELY NOT TOYSDeadwood57 aka Tony StoneStone PARead full review...

These are the new ear cup design slightly bigger ear cups than the older numark which had the rounded syle dome shape. I find these more comfortable than the older Numark headphones (the name is still the same) but these are a newer style with the same audio quality just different shape cups. They seem to last a while, I use mine most nights in bed watching YouTube videos on my iPad they work well and sound good enough, I would describe the sound as just right, equal high, mids and lows.I have used these for the odd DJ'ing / mixing a few tracks on the decks every now and then not too bad. The cable is long enough not too short,so plenty wire.I have given these 4 stars because I have had a few pairs of these headphones in the past - after a few months the cable starts to stiffen up and become sort of hard to bend and not as soft as they were prior.. the plastic coating starts to go hard on the cable, that then starts to work the rubber lose (where the wire passes through into the left headphone it self). But for the cost, they are well worth the money. Easy to replace them when they do start to fail.Read full review...

I bought this because my husband often watches the TV when I am not interested in what is on so I listen to my music instead. Keeps a happy home and quality of life to each individual. I really like the comfortable fit, it seems to cuddle your head, unlike others I have tried which seem to keep slipping off or feel as though they are going to slip off. I can't get away with those silly ones you push in your ears, they are just so uncomfortable and you are frightened to move your head in case they come out. This is of a much higher quality in comfort, practicality, sound and general enjoyment. If you are wanting to relax and listen to music these allow you to do this in comfort. If you are wanting to learn a new course then these will be perfect because they are comfortable and allow you to concentrate on what you are learning.Read full review...

These headphones come at a great price. When purchasing them I was quite weary as to if they would be any good or not!The first thing I noticed with these headphones is the ear cups are considerably smaller than conventional DJ headphones, however still produce a clear, crisp sound - perfect for the amateur/bedroom DJ.One other thing you should know about these is they are terminated in a 6.3mm / 1/4" jack designed to plug into a mixer or HiFi amp. This is fine for most users however if you are intending to use these for an ipod or PC this jack is too large and you will need to purchase a seperate adaptor. If you are looking for professional grade headphones these are not for you, they function, and are from a known brand, however they feel much more of a consumer product rather than for the Professional audio market.Read full review...

had these in a numark dj set in 2001, after years of use (dj/ pc/ console/ tv/ hi fi, etc) i accidently trod on them (which no headphone would of survived) after looking round for a new basic set that are comfortable/ stylish and quality with still a good bit of bass response- i chose these again- what makes me laugh is the price is piddly ! lol (ive seen them in shops and on the bay for under £10 !)at that price (and compared to some of the same quality for tripple the price) you cant go far wrong :-) oh yer- the long tangle free cord helpsthe only reason ive rated 'good' and not excellent is because there is other headphones out there that are sooooo much better 'BUT they are obviously going to be £50-150'so considering the price- the numark's are great for what they areRead full review...

Light, smart and comfortable to wear for extended periods. Very soft ear pads which fit the ears well without feeling too small. I do find the padded top seems to place pressure on the very top of the head but as most head shapes vary it may just be me. Good sound quality especially the Bass and very little volume required from source compared with other old school phones I have used. Good build quality with a sensible cable length and moulded on 1/4 inch stereo jack plug. I consider these to be excellent value for money and as a home/studio set or occasional use item, I believe they would suit most applications.I am sure they are capable of sustained use but can't make comment from experience.

Wanted headphone for my 12 year old daughter so she can listern to her music on her ipod instead of borrowing mine but didnt want to pay out more then £20, too my suprise the sound on them is alot more better then my £60 sony headphones i brought last year, great sound and great bass on them! These are very comfy to wear over the head and ear's. Only downfall about this item it would benfit a vol control on the lead when out and about instead of having to reach in bag to turn vol down on Ipod/mp3 player and it would benefit Noise-cancelling as i can hear what my daughter is listerning to in the next room. In all i would give it a 9/10...Highly recommended.

I REALLY CANNOT GET ON WITH HEADPHONES WHERE YOU HAVE TO STICK SMALL PIECES OF PLASTIC INTO YOUR EARS.THEREFORE I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A A PAIR OF HEADBAND HEADPHONES.I DONT NEED TO USE THEM THAT OFTEN SO I DID NOT WANT TO PAY SILLY MONEY FOR A PAIR BUT I NEEDED A SET THAT I COULD RELY ON WHEN I NEED THEM.I SAW THESE ON EBAY AND THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE THEM A TRY.I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID.THEY ARE A SENSIBLE PRICE AND EASY TO ADJUST SO THAT THEY ARE VERY COMFORTABLE TO WEAR.THE SOUND QUALITY IS EXCELLENT AND THEY ARE WORTH MORE THAN I PAID FOR THEM.I WAS SO IMPRESSED THAT I RETURNED TO THE SELLER TO PURCHASE TWO MORE PAIRS FOR MY KIDS.

This is the 3rd pair of these I have bought (for me and 2 friends) and the pair I bought for myself are still going strong after 3 years! They make a great set of DJ headphones, boasting a brilliant quality sound at all volumes! They are a bit bass heavy (but that's what I like...) and can be a little uncomfy if you wear them for more than a few hours at a time.To sum them up...for the price you can't go wrong, DJ or otherwise. If you're looking for something better, you could end up spending a fair bit more money to find something to top them. Definitely worth the money in my opinion!

Firstly, I would like to start by saying. As a general rule you get what you pay for, but in the case of the Numark HF125s you really do get that little bit more bang for your buck. If I am to be really critical, the mid-range is a little understated. But overall the sound quality is adequate and the build quality far better than what you would expect for the price tag.If you are on a budget, or need a spare pare of monitors for your instrument these are certainly worth considering. I would however, reconsider if you are deciding on a pair for home HIFI use.A great purchase.

I purchased these headphones thinking they would sound ok, but when they arrived I found they were better than ok.I use winamp so I turned up the preamp +12db and put bass on full. these headphones didn't even distort at max volume.I purchase a 3.5mm stereo jack and cut off the 6.2mm, soldered the 3.5mm jack to the wire (I burnt the coating off the wires) makes life a little easier when plugged into a phone.DISLKE = the 6.2mm jackLIKES = Everything else, good bass, no distotion at any volume.even with replacing the jack they cost less than a £10 note :)
